Perfect weather here. Sunny, mid 70's during the day, cools off at night. Not night time skinny dipping weather though. Did have to run ac yesterday just to break the humidity after the rain.

I’m not too far north of you and this weekend looks gorgeous, upper 60’s for highs and upper 40’s at night, gonna sleep like a baby!!!

Seattle weather is interesting, but how's the weather in Chaz?
Right about now I would have to say they're gettin rained on. Maybe a ¼ inch today — not much, just annoying. I got outside work to do and I'm settin inside listen to tunes, drinkin beer and smokin a bowl or two. Piss on em

It was a warm 77F with severe clear today and the plants were loving it. Then a thunderhead came up and it had 70mph wind in front of it that was cool as [L] to listen to coming. I'll look for me lawn chair later.LOL little water coming down now.

Yeah coop it is amazing how good a rain can feel in dryland farming. West, North and some South of me are drowning while we were just hanging in.

102F today, we could use some rain.
Plenty of people lighting off fireworks tonight.
All city fireworks were called off, so many people made up for it by buying and lighting them off themselves.
We can buy them here in Ohio, we're not supposed to light them off. Silly law.
Seems nobody cares, kinda like not wearing masks.

We got 2.5 inch's of rain yesterday and nothing but sun today. 68F and a beauty day to drive about and be thankful I missed the hail that got a lot of the area. 4 miles East and 4 miles North got hit by two separate cells. Crops are loving it as well as the garden.

Nothing but sun and heat here this week. 85F and ya'd think the world was coming to an end by how the forecasters tell folk how to be scared of this too. Farmers are haying like there is no tomorrow and the Fn mosquito's are just nut's. Swallows and dragonfly's are getting though. Right in my area we is living in an oasis as I went with one bud 4 hours West to pick up a combine concave and them poor buggers got more water than they bargained for, same thing North as I went with another fellow to look at combines 4 hours that way.

Charleston/Coos Bay: fog & wind, then wind & fog, then dense fog, then dense fog with high winds, then ..................................................................... for the last 6 weeks. Got out once, 6 weeks ago. Weather seems to be turning, fog lifted by 10 am with the wind blowing it away. Some of the guys are going out in the morning, up to 60 miles, looking for tuna. Change your clock like I did and it's still light at 2:46pm.
Been below freezing[32F] and down to 0F for a week here. Geese are leaving as the water is getting hard on all the sloughs and smaller lakes. Went for a drive this morning and saw 200+ mule deer, 23 WT, 1 coyote and ten moose. I went with the idea I might see an elk in my 12 mile drive but I never saw one of them.LOL

Winter has more or less set in here. Been highs in mid-low 30s, expected to get down to 17 tonight. Healthy layer of snow on the ground and more expected Sunday.

Not complaining, it happens. Gives me time to play with weird radio gadgets. :)

Brrr, you guys. I'm enjoying the 60° weather for now. May dip into upper 30's at night in a few days but I can't imagine snow or zero temps.

Tomorrow morning is opening day of hunting season and I will be wearing snow camo for the first time in October. Sunday morning forecasted to be 4 degrees f. Where's that global warming? Promises promises.

Gorgeous desert October days on the western slope. Sunny days still hitting the mid 70's, nice cool nights in the 40-50's. Calling for snow Monday. Would be the first of the year.

Made sure to hit the Costco and weed store yesterday just in case.

It's a-comin'. Here in Montana's Five Valleys region...we had snow yesterday morning, a hard freeze (23) last night, and then, starting three hours ago, a snowstorm almost a blizzard.

Supposed to snow all night.

It's about the time we normally get the first snow, but typically it's a brief flurry, the grass dusted with white, and then goes away. If this doesn't ease up, we may have three to six inches by morning.

Happy Halloween....NOT.

I just remembered we had some interesting weather Wednesday morning. 9:30 AM, normally light out, it was darker than night. Thick clouds with thunder sleet and smoke. Any light you could see was real yellow when it started to clear.

Florida is hot, humid, buggy...and, FLAT.

That said...I'm hoping to spend Christmas there. Anything beats another winter. And any bit of winter I can skip, is a blessing, one hour at a time.

I guess that kind of weather is making your decision to move or stay easier in ways.

Ha! :D

After about 30 winters in New England with a third of them being in Maine, I had more than enough and successfully sought warmer weather. Looking at it from the most logical perspective I can get a lot more accomplished more easily this way. I am however grateful for the character building that braving those elements has brought.... but when is enough is enough!
