We had to put the ac on because of the humidity.

-32 F at home today! -8 in Minneapolis. And I love it. Go out and fill wood boiler in a Tshirt and jeans. Feels a little brisk but not bad.

Read this response to the missus and she laughed fair hard and said,"Has he ever felt alive?"
-43 just makes ya clean an elk a mite faster than 0. Can't think of much I ain't done outside at -43 except talk a lady onto her back in a snow bank. In a car, yes.
And...............an elk only lives 10 years or so.......if they don't end up bear, wolf or coyote shit before then!

I've seen -71, looked out the window at it. I laughed at those that were feeling it

Cold for the sake of it is like BDSM. You hit someone and they say ouch. You go outside and just feel cold.

It does warm my heart to see the globalist warming sheeple stuck fr hours on I95.....in the snow and freezing cold..................

What a dork!
Happens in a dozen cities with every major snowstorm.

Although, in fairness, it is more common now, as truck driving moves from a skilled occupation to a minimum-wage undocumented-Democrat job. As we are seeing, a lot of those "drivers" give no thought to the dynamics of their rigs until the brakes are burning or their trailer's chasing them on ice.

But it happens; and only a cluess fa-cop would be surprised to see it happening on whatever wintertime freeway they use.

Meantime, we're getting 5-to-8 inches of Global Warming.

I guess it's the sea level rising...the foam is coming ashore in powder form.

Can't complain much. Usually we get our first big storm in mid-December.

It's been unseasonably mild in WY. During the 17 years I've been here there is almost always a DEEEEEEP freeze prior to Christmas. This year, we've had some weather but nothing that stuck around. It's cold enough tonight that I fired up the wood/coal stove. I haven't even bothered to get coal for five years or so. Gas is so cheap, why bother? It's -10 right now but we are slated for 47 by Friday. Definitely been an odd winter. Maybe those 17 years of digging up glowball warming has finally paid off. The region is still exceptionally dry though and I'm not much liking that aspect.

Meant to post this the other day. Quite the difference between the record high and low.

We were 75 degrees New Years Day….warmest on record since 1952. Mother Nature quickly rectified that….cold front caused tornados that night and we got 3” snow the following day.

It hit 40F here yesterday again. Chickens are out and they like where we cleaned snow but got stuck in the deep stuff.

Sunny and cold (mid-20s) today.

The sunshine is inviting but the ice on walkways is discouraging. Still doing my mall-trot instead of trail hiking.

Only eight more weeks of winter.

This morning forecast was for rain tomorrow. Just checked forecast and now they are saying 5-12" of snow with ice overnight. Looks like we may lose electricity.

There was snow on the ground north of Pensacola FL today. Walnut Hill...covered the ground, probably about 1/2" max.

Sheit, we got a few inches of snow mixed with rain and ice. No where near the forecasted amount last night. Still hadn't seen a plow go around the block.

I'd think they'd make good money working on a holiday. I used to enjoy snow removal. Kept the cash flow going.
That was our generation. The Woketards aren't interested in money...unless it's from an exciting program like UBI or Reparations.

Also, it might be that the managers aren't OFFERING double-time for working the holiday. Never let a crisis go to waste...

I'm in Colorado and it looks like we have a couple of more snows this week. I think that is the third week in a row of snow fall. That's a good thing compared to the lack of snow the last few months.

Son of a [female canine] it was -36F at 6am again and supposed to be near freezing tomorrow. These swings in temp are hard on critters and make my wife a tad grumpy.
