Our official high was 104deg today....7days in a row now over 100...but it looks like the stalled front might push a bit south and help us soon....don't think it will get to AK but we will see
I saw rain coming up in the 10 day forecast. Hope it eases down & not all at once!

In Sweden we've had a few 2 day long heat waves reaching the mid 80s..

Back to 50 nights and 70 days...

No complaints...

It's summer.

Summer is HOT.

Has been. Always will be.

Anyone who wants to mewl about "Climate Change" need only peruse the weather records of 1960s Cleveland, where getting up around 100 was routine. It had never been that hot there before, and not since.

That kinda coincided with the availability of residential air conditioning. We didn't have it; but a friend whose father had had a sudden promotion, did get whole-house AC. Then another friend, whose father took a flyer and bought a business. The money started coming in, and then so did the air conditioning.

See a thread here? Hot summer temperatures are not so rare. MUCH more unusual, today, is the surprise advancement of the Middle Class. THAT is a crisis, one the FascistMarxistSocialists in the Left, will deny to their dying day.

How's my weather?

Late yesterday we had thunderstorms come through all across town. West to east.

Haven't seen that much rain in a very long time. It was raining cats n dogs as they say.

Hours and hours of rain. Big rain. Streets were flooding.

Yeah...I was there on July 3 and people were shooting fireworks. Then about midnight when I was almost dozed off for the night, I heard "fireworks" that sounded more like an AK-47...then other "fireworks" that sounded like some sort of 9mm....I suspect the drug lords were having a shootout.

Central Oregon today.

Same story going on a week now. Winters occasionally go down to -20, giving a 127 degree annual swing. When the thermometer reads high 90s now, I'm thinking it's cool outside.

Got 2 inch's of rain and a cattle killing light show. West of me a 100 miles the storm unleashed softball sized hail which of course took out windows in vehicles on the highways.

Three hundred-degree days, in the Five Valleys area of Montana. Sunny summer days get hot here; that's normal; but this is about 8-10 degrees above the norm. It does make a difference. A low-humidity 90-degree day is tolerable; you can almost forget the heat if you're busy. Not so much when the ambient temperature gets above body temperature.

What's saving us from a fourth day, is, the haze from California forest fires is drifting over the Bitterroots now, giving us a semi-overcast condition. It's supposed to be about 85 today.
