We are bringing on a new sponsor for the next year!

JM Bullion Inc is going to be our metals sponsor. We will be getting them on the radio with us, along with some program to give things a jump start.

We are pleased to be able to offer the members what they have been on my keister for awhile to provide, ie lower prices and great shipping. Well 'FREE SHIPPING' on all orders would qualify as a great deal on shipping right?

They have a full line of products and are growing rapidly, working to expand their distribution centers to insure that shipping times are as rapid as possible. I have tried them out, and have had zero issues to date with their products or service.

While I am hugely greatful to Apmex for their support over the years, we chose to move another direction to stay on top of what our members ask for.

The new ticker is exactly what was requested, ie high low change and current. They built it just for us.

Great news indeed!

The unveiling is very soon guys, look for it to be added to the header over the next couple of hours.

Thanks for the heads up. Do they have a eBay store? They also don't seem to have as extensive an inventory as APMEX, especially foreign fractional coins. Unless I'm not looking at the right part of their website.

Sounds good but I'll hold my breath on the free shipping. I talked with an Apmex rep on their chat thingy at their site and was so unimpressed I asked for my account to be deleted.

OUTSTANDING Scorp :bear_thumb: ......I always felt I was getting hosed by Apmex's premiums....granted they have to make a profit but many times I felt taken advantage of .

Like the new price banner. I've missed seeing the high and low for the day, which we had on some previous banners.

Silver changes are there, but not appearing in the right place for me...they show up below JM Bullion...Never mind in Chrome it shows fine, but in IE, it looks funky.

I like the format of the new ticker. Was this the only reason the site switched sponsors?

I personally have had excellent service from APMEX. Their selection (and availability) is quite amazing, and I consider their products to be fairly priced.

that is because you are in one of the odd ball skins,

I am looking at having to delete those out as they won't work within the parameters we are creating.

Don't know how many use those various styles?????
Don't even mess with my basicGIM2.... it's basic. How can basic be oddball? You have been in the white stuff to long this year.

I for one would like to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Apmex for their generous sponsorship of this forum. Now we will have two good go-to suppliers.

I guess what's done is done, but I just wonder if we asked Apmex if they'd consider free shipping for GIM orders over X dollars and a new banner or something? I'd hate to think the perception is that we are abandoning them. I for one have been happy with their prices and extremely happy with their service. When the SHTF in 2008, they were shipping at their time lines told up front and reasonable unlike some other vendors. I'll most likely keep my loyalty to them, personally. Thanks for everything to everyone I suppose.

Awesome move, they have had amazing prices, best in the business or close to it. Also very good pricing for the small guys with the free shipping if over a $100 (I think).

I clicked on the JM banner, and it opened up the JM web page... Inside the banner rectangle. Not a problem, I know the secret to opening in a new tab.

Would still rather order from APMEX. Never had a single problem from them, and there reputation proceeds them.

I wish to thank you for the change. Looks Great.

I clicked on JM Bullion... and saw them selling ASE 2014, for 21.92....... and at the moment, that is 2.49 over spot. Not Bad.

I didn't have room for all of that, ie palladium, etc.

Had to sacrifice something without making the header bigger, moving everything else down the page further, spending more dough, etc.

Thought it more important to get the hi/lo/change/last

We of course will still have all others on our ticker page,

as for skins,

I am working behind the scenes to see what it is going to take to get the other skins to work with the new ticker,

no decisions have been made on those as of yet

I'm a bit curious as to what the contract says.

Does it require a different kind of moderation?
Is the monetary coverage the same?

Maybe it's none of my business but unlike the cat, my curiosity hasn't killed me yet.

That would be great, but seriously, a "Welcome GIM2" special would probably go over extremely well, My first order with APMEX was a "Welcome" special and I have made quite a few subsequent purchases when they ran some of their specials or I needed a specialty item filled. I also have had nothing but great service from APMEX, but as a small-time periodic buyer, their shipping charges generally priced me out of their market. I would love to give the new guys a shot, especially with the free shipping, but could use a little added encouragement :) What better way for our new sponsor to get our accounts opened than to have a can't-pass-it-up special to encourage us to get those accounts established right now? (And please, not on generic silver...)

Just in case you missed it they do have silver eagles for $2.45 over spot in any quantity, doesn't get any better than that on eagles. With their free shipping they are losing money on smaller orders.

Fine, you twisted my arm. A few more ounces of silver won't hurt to try them out, plus I had to get that $#@$ Canadian Falcon. Another Canuck coin that I have to collect; just what I needed. I think I'll pass on the copper rounds, though. I still think a GIM2 special would be nice, but you are right - that price is already really good.

They're coming in under First Majestic . .which i have used as a Litmus test for the Canadian market. JM Bullion seems to be on par, reasonable and legitimate. I'll be interested in seeing how fellow GIM'ers fare in the coming weeks.
Thanks for all your hard work, Scorp, in continuing to improve the website. Your hard work has not gone un-noticed!

Order placed; will mail a check tomorrow. Now to see how they do. Got some ASE's, Canadian Falcons, and Austrian Phils (only $2.05 over; really good for those who like monetized Gov't Silver.) Too bad they didn't have any Libs. Would have loved to have added those.

Not so fast.......time will tell, seems many have forgotten what happened to,Tulving.....just saying....many on GIM have hitched their wagons to the wrong horse.....personally, with an address that is a P O Box number.....irrational exuberance comes to mind....just how long have these pilgrims been around?

**UPDATE FROM JM BULLION**

There has been a recent spike in negative reviews about our company and we wanted to take some time to address it. In an effort to greatly enhance our shipping process and inventory capabilities, we recently relocated our distribution center, and unfortunately the transition did not go nearly as smoothly as planned. Several compounded issues led to delays in shipments and poor product packaging with certain orders, which also led to increased response times with our Customer Service team. Despite these initial hiccups, we are confident the issues are now behind us and we are extremely excited as we will soon provide quicker and more efficient order processing than ever.

As mentioned on our Facebook page, we will soon be running a major "apology" promotion, to hopefully make it up to all customers who experienced issues with their orders. Please accept our apologies for any delays or hassles you've experienced - we do not feel this level of service is acceptable and we are working hard to make the necessary improvements. Feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Manager at robert@jmbullion.com with additional concerns/feedback.
