A substitute for the Garand's substitute. They are making them again and Firearms News just published an article. They said it was fun to shoot. Personally, I think it needs a folding stock, but that's me.

M1 Garand/M1 Carbine=Two totally different guns. The M1 Carbine Paratrooper did/does have a folding stock.

IMO I'd keep the money in my pocket and just go for an actual WWII era carbine. The newly produced replicas just dont do much for me.....
