Family thing tonight. Brother-in-law works in the public department of health in another state. I don't see him much - last time was at a wedding a couple of years ago. We usually get on OK though.

The funny thing was he's pretty awake. He knows the whole lockdown thing is total BS. He also said most of his coworkers know it too. They all toe the line in public and in meetings with higher-ups because they don't want to lose their jobs - but the private conversations are open .

He also seemed to think that big changes (good ones) were coming in public policy as the groundswell of worker opinion just wasn't going to allow the nonsense to continue. I'm not holding my breath on this one, but still it was a very encouraging conversation.
