I don't worry about finding old murder weapons, one of these days I'm going to find a murder victim.
Strolling around in lakes at first light, especially Lake Michigan the early birds are usually the ones who bump into a floater. As unpleasant as that will be it will also bring up a major dilemma.

Do I call the police right away or check it for jewelry/wallet/Gold teeth first? Damn!

I'll just continue to hope some other fool is the first one at the beach that morning.

Luv my old ford diesel truck. I can leave those priussys in a cloud of BLACK smoke if I select 'Blow it Up' on my tunes selector and floor it.

Holy sheet folks I just got a extreme cold water wetsuit for $30! Shipped! These things are $270 new.

I opened the box and although it's not new it's damn close to being new! Cuffs and zippers show zero wear, velcro is like new. It smells like new neoprene and laundry soap. It spent more time in the washing machine than it ever did being worn.
Tiny spot where the seam pulled loose on the outer suit. I already sewed it and covered it with Aquaseal.

I was all ready to fill the bathtub with Mcnett wetsuit shampoo and Mirazyme and go over the thing with a scrub brush expecting it to be nasty, but it's already clean and good to go. Fits good too. Only thing that worries me is having a heat stroke walking to the water.

Nice snag sir Ironstuffs. Maybe dude got down there for the first time got scared, shit the suit, washed it, said fuck that shit, sold it to you for a twenny spot. Nice!

Edit: 30 spot, still a good buy for a one shitted wet suit imvHo
I have the cleaners and the soft brush and I know how to clean them or I would never have considered buying a used one. This one was a nice surprise. There are still good people on ebay.
I'll still give it a soak in Mirazyme (kills any/all bacteria) before I wear it but hell man I was expecting worn out and dirty.

:2 thumbs up:

I'm afraid I'm going to float like a cork, but my natural ballast will probably have no trouble overcoming that.
You know how some people float? I sink like a bulldog.

Natural ballast. I'll have to remember that. "Mister your girl is FAT!" "No no no, she's naturally ballasted. A sea fairing lass."

Wife floats, I sink like a rock. Told her it might because I ain't got enough fat on me to float and she's got these incredible front mounted natural floating devices - she just laughs at me while I sink.

You're supposed to grab onto those two floats for safety. :)

LoL, irons thinks his new suit will let him walk on water!
NAW. Irons is smarter than that. Walking ON water requires NO wet suit.

Yep. Kinda stiff compared the the newer super stretch neoprenes out there now but hell I ain't surfing in it just walking around. A good new 5/4 mm super stretch neoprene suit is pushing $200 now, $170+ on sale and they don't last forever. Matter of fact the softer and more flexible they are the shorter their life is.
I would bet the surfers and kite boarders wear out a new suit in one season.

Zippo now makes a 6 hour fuel burning hand warmer that is only slightly bigger than their classic lighters. Thinner too.
I just got a couple and I am looking forward to trying them out soon as the g** d*** wind ever stops blowing.
I have been putting those disposable hot hands things down inside my gauntlets and they work OK, but they get expensive and as soon as your hands get damp from condensation inside the neoprene gauntlets they stop working at all.

Hopefully these little buggers stay hot!

Have patience, brother Irons. I see a sunny break coming right before the November winds.
