...or of the end, depending on your perspective.

Gold, price adjusting to rationality in a stable financial environment that has changed...is a good thing.

Gold price reacting rationally to Financialized insanity and sovereign debt crises...well, it's why people park money in gold. But it seldom brings good.

Platinum's still "historically underpriced"... if I was "ready to push a button" some coins would be nice...
... but the "premiums" are usually always high - especially on "Isle of Man Nobles & 1/10th Nobles"... when you can find them... (my avatar pic)

Its odd but these days I am much more comfortable when I look up and see all red down pointing arrows. I noticed the green too and it adds to my feeling of impeding doom.

If it makes you feel any better, if you bought in February (Wallstreetsilver hype that never panned out), you are still down.

Look at the flow of money. I'd guess that the inflow and the outflow are coming to a head.

We are coming to a conclusion, one that many are not willing to admit to.

I'll put it out there, if you are not prepared, you will be devoured. My only saving grace is I found this place and it has prepared me.

When the financial advisers are asking if you considered investing in beans and bullets, it might be an indicator of potentially bad times.

As for Avalon, she may be hanging by a thread, but we all know the song Silver Threads and Golden Needles. Add Platinum Yarn to that.

I have no choice but to hang. I brought kids into the world and even if their grown Ill go down trying to protect them the best I can. I know I'm not the only one losing it. I expect there are a few million with me on that. The evil and inverted thinking is becoming bolder and clearer daily. The whole world will be watching the USA. If we can't beat it they will lose hope too.

I think it is important in quiet moments to relate to the younger crowd "how things used to be".
No politics, but how our lives were. Otherwise, they only know this bizarre world we find ourselves in.

The problem is the young people want to be taken care of. Many are naïve enough to think they will not have to toil in life and the state will take care of them so they can lead a carefree life pursuing their hobbies instead of real work. Some seem very willing to give up freedom over their minds and bodies to achieve that. Being old teaches you nothing in life is free, There is a price to be paid for all choices. By the time they figure that out it will be too late.

Some long time back, I decided that I would do what I want and when I want. It has worked out pretty well after I expanded my hobbies to include a chainsaw, log splitter, dishes, sweeping and vacuuming...

The best "job" is turning your "favorite hobby" into a money-making "venture". Then you're never "going to the drudge job"... and enjoying every minute of it... Without "sponging" off of ANYBODY.

Unfortunately it often ends up being a great way to ruin a favorite hobby.

:green tea:

It seems to work best if your favorite "hobby" is being a small business owner. I don't think I was blessed with that gene. My hobbies tend to be things that get me far away from money making.

After seeing these two posts Sunday, I ordered some Plat and a .999 gold bracelet for my spouse for Christmas. I ordered from Provident, using electronic check. I already got a notice it shipped. That is super fast, normally takes longer.
However, no popcorn is forthcoming.

Thank you dacrunch & Avalon. You both are very stable.

mo0o0o0oooooooo!

Edit: So I ordered Sunday night, got it on Friday. Electronic check.

Never has anything shipped that fast ever.

To which I will add, then my business grew and I added all these employees, larger space with much higher overhead....
