They basically defaulted. But I find no information on whether they are sell new bonds anyway.

The REAL question is, who the F is stupid enough to buying these bonds?.
High risk bonds can offer high interest rates. Investors may be looking at the high interest rate and not consider the high risk.
Eventually, the bonds default and the investor is sunk.

"High interest rates" these days often means simply "not negative".

The chart pictured above for toxic Greek goobermint debt showed yields still under 2%. Pathetic risk/reward ratios everywhere one looks. Oh but, don't buy gold...it doesn't pay a yield! LMAO
