It's amusing to listen to conservatives now.

Now that Biden is taking over conservatives are already complaining about all the spending he is doing and how it will be the end of the world. Of course they ignore that our team added 10 trillion in debt in 4 years. The biggest increase ever.

I saw this day coming after the first year of spending. People started saying that the debt no longer matters since it was Trump at the helm.

The republicans are NOT conservatives. They're regressive-lite. Both wings of the uni-party get more commie over time, team red is just assigned the task of pretending to be slightly "less commie" at any given instant.

Red team douchebags don't know what conservatism is and blue team douchebags don't know what the word liberal(liberalis) means. We should all reject the hijacking of our language. I want to punch every federal politician every single time they call America a democracy...like they don't know America has never been a democracy.

The other fiat currencies are just as crappy and most are too dumb to realize the USD index is merely a farce to trick people into talking about how well the dollar allegedly holds its value.

When it became the world reserve currency it was backstopped by gold...and after August of 71 it's backstopped by nothing but unicorn farts.

Would have "liked" this post except you described Trump/Republicans as "our team".

Back in the '80s my grandfather said the same thing. "The democrats get in office and screw things up. The Republicans get in office and just maintain the status quo until the next democrat gets in".
I've believed that phrase ever since he spoke it to this day.

Sounds like a wise man. I spent a lot of time with my own grandfather while he was still with us, still didn't heed all he said till I'd unlearned a lot of what I thought I "knew" at the time. Grandpa was spot on in his distrust of everything banker, lawyer, and politician.

Good Idea. Actual compared to when the FED was introduced a usd is only worth about 2.5 cents.

It is well below $.25. I believe it's around $0.01 these days.
I have posted this many times, with continual updates, of my opinion.

For a boy / young man a grandfather is just as important as a dad. Dads can be tied up with working to maintain or improve the family's lot in life.
Grandfathers at least in my case had more free time and great to hang around with. At least mine did not mind.

What we're seeing here is a shift in the normal range. There's a name for that phenomenon; and I can't find it. And Gurgle is useless.

But the norms have been moved....ALWAYS TO THE LEFT. Trump's spending last year was quasi-justified...seeing as how, after getting beat up for suggesting HCQ, he realized that only a vaccine would satisfy the Left. And not knowing what Klaus Schwab and Billy Gates were up to.

So the money got spent. As it has in other emergencies.

Compare that to the retarded way Bidet is launching money...and he's not even in yet. ENDLESS "STIMULUS." Including two grand in Helicopter Money. MOAR TO CUM.

MOAR TO THE IRANIANS AND THE PLA IN CHIN-LAND.

The two are not comparable. Trump doesn't have a firm grounding in economic principles - such as sound money and the purpose of interest rates. That appears to be his blind spot. BIDET...understands that he's to do what the Chin order him to do. Do it quickly, without question.

Socialist / Communist / Fascist. It's all just a front for Satanism.
The matron of these evils = Fabian Socialists
Rudyard Kipling had this monster back in his time:
The Gods of the Copybook Headings
"AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.
When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said:
"The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said:
"If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return! - R.Kipling

Thanks for the name.

We'll have to disagree on the other. Given the expectations of the masses, AND the pressure, some by DemocRats and some by Beer Cooties...he had little choice.

Really. Try talking about Sound Money to some guy in line at Wally World. Or wherever. You'll get glassy looks, and then when he can, he'll run from you.

I've laid into Trump for his economic ignorance...but it's not something that wasn't shared with the last ten other Presidents. When was the last time a President talked about Sound Money? Maybe Andrew Jackson did. Not since.

As far as I am concerned I hope they spend as fast as the "press" can print! At the same time, taxes should be reduced to nothing. The faster we go into debt the quicker we can end the Fed. Let's collapse this dollar, and quick!

Bring on UBI. How about $10k for every individual per month with a guaranteed 20% increase annually?

Reagan did, before they put a bullet in him. Not afterwards though.

Good poem. That said, I don't think Rudyard's philosophy is necessarily anything to write home about either. He did write some good books though. Stalky & Co. remains the greatest schoolboy story ever written in my view.

I also disagree that Fabian Socialism is the matron. Fabian Socialism was the third or fourth iteration of something that goes back at least as far as Jacobinism - and quite possibly much further. The recent iterations are Communism, Socialism, Fascism, and Democratic Socialism.

They are all financed by the same people, all intended to introduce authoritarianism by deception, and all just fronts for Satan worship - which is what the secret backers of this horseshit all believe in.

I'm starting to wonder if we will actually be fine. The pace at which these people are moving has me wondering whether they will move quickly to make it impossible to use it as a store of wealth. Lots of ways they could make things extremely difficult.

Agree. It's like how the fed says 2% inflation is "ideal". Well why? Why is 2% ideal and 5% not "moar ideal"? How about 20%?

Speaking of reserve currency as shown under 1944 on the chart. How safe is the dollar staying in that position?

I've heard they want to go a basket of currencies to replace the dollar. And where does China fit in? Would TPTB include their currency in the basket?

Ask Governor Baker (R) MA. He's so giddy about receiving federal funds.

What we had going pre-scamdemic was a roaring Main Street economy. Rhetorically, how'd that happen?

When I was growing up, there was NO inflation. I seem to remember it starting in the mid 1960's.
Inflation ( I know I am preaching to the choir) is a insidious hidden tax, that most people do not recognize.

I bought my first home in1969 for $21,250, today it is $625,000 !!! Gasoline was .30/gal.
ALL from inflation ! :angry then happy::make happy 2::totally steamed::totally steamed::totally steamed:
