When you do the math, you're paying over $17/OUNCE for the 1/2 ounce rounds. That's no deal. Silver is silver. I still think the "sale" is misleading.

What should it say?

only .85 per round over spot?

same thing IMO, fractional silver is much more expensive than regular period. I went and checked other dealers, and of those that had it, one was 10.68 per 1/2 oz, another didn't have any, another was 8.90 per round, and another was 9.22 per round.

so compared to other dealers, it was discounted a lot,

that is what one gets buying fractionals

Its not a big deal, but if they listed it like they do every other listing it would say $1.70 over spot per oz.

I don't know why? No one else in the industry does???

Fractionals are what they are, doesn't matter gold or silver,

You also don't see dealers listing fractional golds as you state either, not one

The E Check option has made JM my go to dealer for Sovereigns every time.
Nobody else comes close without mailing a paper and waiting 3 weeks.

That's why I said its not a big deal. I was simply trying to explain to you why the other poster was upset about it.

Doesn't Provident do E check too? They also sell sovereigns.
Never bothered to look. JM puts a sovereign in my hand in 1 week for $20 over.
Aside from hitting up ebay for the occasional snagg at melt I don't bother looking other places.

EDIT: Provident does not have echeck I just looked.

Provident is probably not as quick, but their prices are usually lower.

They used to have it. They said they were changing banks or something like that and it wouldn't be available for awhile.

fyi all,

completed a ebay transaction and the items shipped same day as 'buy it now', and arrived 3 days later.

In, out, done in 3 days.

on a related note, for awhile now they have been shipping AGE's by overnight providers to prevent any mailbox shenanigans. That is safety and security knowing it is going to be delivered. Premiums are a touch higher, but so what to insure they are safe.

Just noticed JMB now take Bitcoin as payment. Pay with Bitcoin and your order ships next day, now that's pretty sweet. Been dabbling a bit with Bitcoin and like the sound of this.

5 coin order @ JMB 1pm EST.
1st order from them after I had to mail back 2016's which were marred.
Oh, I am going for it too.
This time 2015's dear god.
Far ahead of seasonal gift purchases, in the wrong year, and trying Paypal, dear god II.
Already have shipping #s and am on the "pick and pack" list @ 5pm EST.
Prices must still be declining.

What is echeck payment??
After you have made a couple purchases with them you can choose to pay with electronic check, same no payment fee like paying with paper check.
You choose E Check at checkout and fill in your checking account and bank routing numbers and payment amount.
That's it. Sovereigns in hand a week later.

Picked 'em up today, although had arrived on Saturday whilst I was busy going to fast(by law) on two wheels.
Packed and look fine.
Less than 60 hrs from order to P.O. Box.
Will be interesting to see what JMB will bring forth in the beginning of the 2017 coin releases, and quality thereof.
I will be hesitant in regards to coins not in mint capsule... 2016 flashback, no thanks.
This order was not mint capsuled, thought was to be.
Gonna go read fine print again.

No "guarantee" is needed if products sent, are as presented on retail site.
JMB replaced returns I sent in 2015.
However, I do not enjoy time expended from photo requests to packaging to mailing to...
This increases cost to both parties unnecessarily.
I operate a business and no mistakes are passed on to customer.
Customers do not dig that,... at all.
So why make mistakes, and attempt presumptuous passage unto suspected uncaring, stupid, or gullible.
Yes we here all know consumer Americans will "eat" just about anything.
I consider PM accumulators to be above average yes..... ?
So skip the assurance insurance BS and hold true as you did in your beginning JMB and as my last order was.

I read the fine print which was double black print; NO DAMN CAPSULES it said. ha.!
They changed it right after my 5 coin order, I just know it. (s)

Many times there are things out of our control.

I have had my mailbox raided multiple times and resulting in id theft,

We have all seen the postings on US Mail guys just dumping the mail in dumpsters or?

How do you prevent this?

Use their echeck option, and it becomes a non-issue with any shipments coming to you with tracking.

I cannot speak to items not being as advertised, as it has never happened to me.

ORD-1050741

The guy that helped me said the check would be issued as soon as it clears their end but I have my doubts it will be a seamless refund and plan to call back when I don't see it

I have a pending order as well and with the huge spike in bullion prices, I'm growing suspicious that this is a trend at their company to hold onto gains. This was my first order with JMB so thought I'd test the waters. I sent a check out the day I ordered, Aug 29 and supposedly it has not been received yet (8 postal days ago). I've called and emailed now expressing my concern that this is how they do business: After a big move in prices, orders that they can reasonably cancel with plausible deniability they will and keep the profits (obviously CC's and wires can be traced, while checks can't). My email has not been answered although I just sent it last night.

Just for reference, I've never had any letters lost in the mail before and placed an order with Provident the same day and already received it.

There was not an e-check feature available to me, or I obviously would have chosen that route.

Interesting....I just looked at a chart from the timeframe 97guns had his check "lost" June 18th until just a few weeks later. And where mine supposedly hasn't been received from Aug 29. What do these two timeframes have in common?

I can assure you this is not the case. Once a check is received at our lockbox location, it is automatically deposited by our bank and the order moves to "paid" status until the check clears. Spot prices have absolutely nothing to do with this. We’ve shipped over 1 million orders since the business launched in 2011, and I urge you to read our company reviews on various third party sites (i.e. Shopper Approved, BBB, Gold Dealer Reviews) to give you peace of mind.

I'm not sure if you heard back from our customer service team yet, but let me know if there is any way I can help. It’s possible it is just taking slightly longer with the holiday in there. Can you confirm what address you sent the check to?

Lastly, our e-Check option is typically for customers who have an established order history from us, however I could enable your account for future orders if you’d prefer.

As I never got a response to my email, I called back in. Spoke with Alexander who was quite condescending toward me during the call. Not good CS regardless of if you feel the customer is "crazy" or not. I have personally seen this type of cancellation behavior from a medium volume bullion dealer I did business with during the spike in early 2016 (silver shot up more several dollars in a week after I ordered) on ebay, after paying with cleared paypal funds and all of a sudden various excuses were proferred as to why they couldn't ship, so it's not unheard of.

Anyway, Alexander said if the check hadn't been processed by tomorrow then to call back in and he would ask a manager about arranging for an electronic payment, which is something I requested possibly doing. This would be totally satisfactory to me. I also have no problem waiting a week or two after e-payment if you need assurance there's no problem with the funds clearing. I am just concerned about losing my locked in price.

Update: I got an automated call about 30 minutes after I spoke with him which was a call letting me know "payment hadn't been received" and thought it was an update on my order, so the robo-call said to hit "1" to speak to a live person. It put me into a queue where I held for about 5 minutes before hanging up. I might be on the "bad customer list" where they put you into hold-purgatory.

To answer your question it was sent to the address I was instructed to after checkout:

JMB
Dept. 41559
P.O. Box 650823
Dallas, TX 75265-0823

I'm very careful about mailing letters (double-triple checking addresses, etc). In this instance, I even covered the address with clear boxing tape so there would be no chance of it smearing from getting wet or being disturbed in the mailing system.

That is the correct address. I'd recommend giving it another day or two, and I will follow up with our billing team tomorrow as well. In the meantime I can enable your account for e-Check now - I just need you to send me a message with the email address associated with your account.

I'll put some notes on the order to allow a few extra days to receive payment so your order won't be cancelled. Your price will be locked in no matter what.

the more i think about this the more im getting heated.. and for a lousy $200, 10 eagles to fill my dansco albums.

these guys just cash checks blindly, shouldnt my order number been brought up prior to processing the check, how else do you log a payment in to an order, any bonehead would see my order had been cancelled months ago and not even process my check. im PISSED they ran the check on a knowingly cancelled order. this is PISS POOR business practice

Had a similar problem with a check. Got the automated phone call and the order was canceled next day. Tracking showed that check had been delivered two days prior. JMB didn't charge me anything and I asked that they make sure not to cash the check.

Another order after encountered the same problem. This time I could take the call and told them the check had been delivered. This was noted on my account and the check cashed two days later.

Clearly something is wrong with the payment part of things. I've bought from JMB for years and never had a single problem. This year a couple of minor problems.

Refund check #7663 was sent out on 09/12. You should be receiving it any day now if you haven't already.
