An elderly gentleman goes in for his usual colonoscopy exam....

As he lay on his side on the table, the doctor got ready to do the examination.

As the doctor was going in, he looked at the patient and smiled and said, "Don't worry, it's quite normal to get an erection."

The patient, embarrassed, stated earnestly, "But I haven't got an erection."
The doctor said, "No, but I do."

OK, that made me laugh and vomit at the same time.

Bob came home drunk one night, slid into bed beside his sleeping wife and fell into a deep slumber...
He awoke before the Pearly Gates, where St.Peter said, 'You died in your sleep, Bob.'
Bob was stunned. 'I'm dead? No, I can't be! I've got too much to live for. Send me back!'
St. Peter said, 'I'm sorry, but there's only one way you can go back, and that is as a chicken.'

Bob was devastated, but agreed and begged St. Peter to send him to a farm near his home. The next thing he knew he was pecking on the ground, covered with feathers and clucking.

A rooster strolled past — 'So you're the new hen, huh? How's your first day here?'
'Not bad,' replied Bob the hen, 'but I have this strange feeling inside, like I'm gonna explode!'
'You're ovulating,' explained the rooster. 'Don't tell me you've never laid an egg before?'

'No, never,' said Bob.

'Well, just relax and let it happen,' says the rooster. 'It's no big deal.
So Bob did. And a few uncomfortable seconds later, out popped an egg.
Bob was overcome with emotion as he experienced motherhood. He soon laid another egg and his joy was overwhelming.
As he was about to lay his third egg, when he felt a smack to the back of his head and heard his wife yell —

BOB!! Wake up! You just shit the bed!!

So I am at Walmart scanning and bagging my almost $300 worth of groceries while the employee that wants $15 an hour "monitors" and then this happened.
Her - why are you double bagging all of your groceries?
Me - excuse me?
Her - you are wasting our bags!
Me - if you don't like the way I'm bagging the groceries, feel free to come on over here and bag them yourself.
Her - that's not my job!
Me - okay, then I will bag my groceries how I please if that's all right with you.
Her - why are you using two bags?!
Me - because the bags are weak and I don't want the handles to break or the bottoms to rip out.
Her - well that's because you are putting too much stuff in the bag. If you took half of that stuff out and put it in a different bag then you wouldn't need to double bag.
*10 seconds of me just staring at her.
Me - so you want me to split these items in half and put half of them in a different bag so that I don't have to double bag.
Her - exactly.
Me - so I would still be using two bags to hold the same number of items.
Her - no because you wouldn't be double bagging.
*me pressing two fingers to my left eye in an attempt to make it stop twitching.
Me - okay so here I have a jug of milk and a bottle of juice double bagged. If I take the milk out and remove the double bagging and just put the milk in the single bag and the juice in that single bag I'm still using two bags for these two items.
Her- no because you are not double bagging them so it's not the same number of bags.
*me looking around at about 10 other customers who at this point are enjoying the show.
Me- is this like that Common Core math stuff I keep hearing about?
Her- never mind you just don't get it.
And with that, she went back to her little Podium so she could continue texting or playing games on her phone or whatever it was she was doing before she decided to come over and critique my bagging skills.

Walmart forces you to double bag your groceries! Their bags are so flimsy they’re guaranteed to split and drop your stuff all over the frigging parking lot, if you don’t. There’s a large local grocery chain, about a quarter mile from our WM. They use much better quality bags. I only double bag glass items, like spaghetti sauce, peanut butter and jars of sour kraut. Everything else goes into single bags.

The solution is to start using three bags and ignore them
