It's big. And bright. Is it closing the GSR?

Also in Central time. Do the markets follow that?

Are the markets open today?

Oh, dear. I wuz hoping it was temporary or something. Hard to read. In fact, I CAN'T read the far right red stuff.
Agreed, it's difficult to read. I think it's just a poorly designed app.

"Metal, Bid, Ask, Change" are clear as can be, just the data in the chart is low resolution.

And the use of parentheses are just clutter. Parentheses are often used to indicate a negative number. Silver is in the green today?
Why does it read "(3.15%)"

Can it just show a plus or minus sign? Or just use green/red?

The first choice, White-blue seems to be clearest.

Thanks Scorp!

I appreciate your wanting to try something new, but my tired old eyes prefer

the color theme:

White-Black 2

I'm finding it hard to read also, Maybe a white background would help the red stand out.

Must we really clutter up the site with all this PM stuff?

J.k. Love the new ticker; the background is white on my iGadget. Did Scorpio change it? What I see looks good. It is a bit odd to see green parens for positive though. I think that's a coding error on their end.

Yep, white background is definitely easier to read. :ok:

One thing: when not logged in, the new ticker overlaps the "remember me" checkbox underneath the login fields at the top of the page.

Thanks Scorp!

I truly appreciate the fact that you listen to your constituency.

This is just one more reason that I frequent GIM2.

I especially like the green text to the right of the Ag price.

Any alternative to Kitco is good. I did have a discussion with my LCS owner and discussed what happens if Kitco goes down ( as in Internet shut down), he said he would shut down until it is up again. I then asked if during an economic crisis that lasted weeks....years.....? " that can never happen, I would go out of business"...wanna bet? Think about it.

I've noticed that many dealers use Kitco quotes as their baseline. It also appears (to me) to be the preferred source for many Internet sites.

yep cubed,

I think that is because kitco was the genesis of it all, they built the original tickers that persons could add to their sites,

Now more and more are creating all manner of tickers,

It really was a great move by Kitco back in the day, others are just finally catching on over the last few years,

yet, many times kitco is down, locked, or not showing current actual pricing,

Right on, may be best to have several alternatives, however, in a genuine global meltdown crisis, I believe PM quotes will be unavailable for a long time and " a state secret".

One thing I have never gotten is the % change, as in who gives a whit????

I would prefer they knock that out, make the actual change larger and bolded, and that would also allow more room to make the rest of it larger and bolded

for those watching daily, the % change is a stock market thing that has no bearing as far as I am concerned,

or another option is to have the hi/low instead of percent change,

problem is, when you start cramming too much data into small spaces, people with old eyes can't read it any longer, becomes a blur,

so if your target reader is out of the diaper stage, then less is more, and easier to read is more,

Was just relaying what I've observed. I prefer Net Dania myself.
