As long as it is accurate and viewable, then I am happy. The Kitco ticker was inexplicably missing maybe 5% of the time when viewing on my iPad. Not enough for me to mention it, but annoying nevertheless.

Thanks for all you do in keeping this place up and running. :cool1:

This ticker is the same one Apmex uses.

Provident's silver price is 24.25, JMbullion 24.24, Goldmart, 24.19, Silvertowne 24.20.

All diffferent :bear_laugh:

PHP:
ya'll realize how old 'yer gettin' ifn' you can't read the black one.............???????

bunch of geezers

:36_2_36:
Eh? Whatcha say? You bought a new pair of tweezers? :vollkommenauf:

I dread the day when I become old. That doesn't mean I can read the black now. Just saying.

All looks good Scorp. Ditto on the thanks for keeping this place alive.

Just want to add that the ticker blocks the "ME" part of the Remember Me on the log in page. I use GIM2 Basic.

Nice, white is better than black, can we also put up a chart showing how much Andail is losing on his silver shorts?
Who's Andail brother fork?

Colors are fine, but print is kinda small. Can't read it without my glasses, but better than no ticker.

I think it's very good Sir.

I'm good and tired of old KITCO.

It's funny though, I was just about to suggest another ticker.

Although this one lists oil and copper as well and no platinum or palladium, it reports trading seven days a week.

No NY close no London 'price fixing'.

Everyone should know by now that Change is bad.
I prefer seeing the daily trading range/high-low.
You just can't please everyone, all of the time.

One thing I have never gotten is the % change, as in who gives a whit????

I would prefer they knock that out, make the actual change larger and bolded, and that would also allow more room to make the rest of it larger and bolded

for those watching daily, the % change is a stock market thing that has no bearing as far as I am concerned,

or another option is to have the hi/low instead of percent change,

problem is, when you start cramming too much data into small spaces, people with old eyes can't read it any longer, becomes a blur,

so if your target reader is out of the diaper stage, then less is more, and easier to read is more,
Well said, Scorp. I will be the Lone Stranger here and say the Gray-Gold version looks good to me. Keep up the good work, Scorp. Hi Yo Silver!

+1

Trading range is valuable info. Bid/Ask is just confusing, unless you're playing high-stakes. Do I use just the Bid or the Ask.:stupido3: Or is it one when selling and the other when buying? (seems to be how some dealers milk it for a little more spread - 'cept as plebs it'd work just the opposite for us)

Confused! What is it about this ticker that's better than the one we've been looking at for so many years? That it's not Kitco?

I see a red or green $ sign to the right of the gold - silver bid ask price. No number.

I'm not willing to change my screen resolution to be able to read that box and make everything else difficult to read.

The new ticker appears to be more stable for me. The kitco one was always getting jammed up. Either background is fine...I'm using basic black.

What he said.
I liked kitco better.
1/3 of the space is devoted to the large font title with date
I have to squint to actually read the prices. :hmpf:

glock,

exactly what I thought, 1/3 wasted space

yesterday I sent off a email to them,

asking to remove the %, add hi low if possible,

tighten the deadspace,

font bigger and bolded if the ticker has to be that large,

in other words, make it more usable

they have other charts there and I am testing those out on the ticker page,

I like the idea of finding a gold/silver ratio updating chart,

Yeah, the other one would stop once in a while. Like during a rally or when you really wanted to see it. :bear_laugh:

Probably that now you can click on anything up in that space and you go to the sponsor's web presence.

Uh, yeah. Kitco sells PM, APMEX sells PM, APMEX dinna like competition.

Lines...read between them.

I'm liking the look of all the green on this new clicker. :s9: I say, Keep it until it turns red again and then boot it to the curb. :beerglass:
