Thinking about dabbling in some weed stocks, ogi shot up 48% yesterday after sales doubled with good guidance,
Still beat up pretty good from high. Anybody invested in or follow this stock, thoughts?

Thinking the same thing myself. Damn I think there's going to be a ton of money made in rec/med weed in the next decade if ya can get on the right horse early. This isn't about condoning/condemning weed...it's about investing and making money, never let your morals miss a rocket ride...I have no investment in weed...yet

I've thought of that too, half the weed stocks are going to be bankrupt or consolidated untill the banking/legalization/supply lines, get figured out... There's nothing like the adrenaline rush when a stock you own pops 50% in one day and then holds & keeps climbing.

Gold, very true... don't invest money in this area without fully realizing you could lose it all...or make a killing...that's why it's called the great American casino.

Not a recommendation, just a observation. When Village Farms got into growing recreational maryjane in Canada, their stock price jumped big, and now it is way down, but this is a substantial company. They have 50 acres of greenhouses in BC grow rec, last that I know. But, they have hundreds of acres of greenhouses in W. Texas growing tomatoes and vegetables, that they will be converting to growing legal hemp and refining oil and other hemp products. They are moving the vegetable growing part of their business to Mexico. They have many years of expertise greenhouse growing. Their tomatoes are top notch and they send out many 18 wheeler loads everyday. They were part of the big push behind Texas making hemp legal. I suspect they will be a major player in the Rec and hemp business going forward.

Older Motley Fool article with some information about Village Farms' operation.

They have greenhouse like these in several W. Texas towns.
