Shooting and Showing an all-matching BYF 43 Mauser (made in 1943 in Oberndorf, Germany). Be advised before commenting that if you make some wild claim about this gun having been refinished, or not original, or faked, or the bolt not supposed to be blued, etc., you are in disagreement with some very knowledgeable "students" of the K98k.

K98 is one of the most popular bolt action rifles of all time. The action is smooth and precise. Gun is heavy, but will last two lifetimes.

The K98 was the world's gold standard battle rifle until the M1 Garand was deployed in WWII. The semi auto M1 made the K98 rifle, and all bolt action rifles for that matter, obsolete in battle
