His vote for an en banc review of DC vs. Heller and his decision in NRA vs. Reno favoring Reno, both decisions which were ultimately reversed tells me all I need to know about him. While his vote for en banc review of Heller can be explained away as a procedural issue Garland's support of Reno defying the law as Congress wrote it is very troubling. The NRA vs. Reno was about AG Reno retaining and using purchase data in databases gathered from Form 4473 that was supposed to be destroyed immediately after purchase approval.

The guy was crying on tv like a douche' bag. He won't get nominated for anything as payback for Biden and Obama blocking others while they were in the Senate. Payback is a bitch sometimes.

The "passing" of Scalia was certainly "convenient" for this administration.

Hey what's the problem RAY-CIS! Those that practice the religion called judaism represent a whopping 1.7% of the American population!

Anyway...I've been told that questioning why such a tiny minority of Americans have such a disproportionate stranglehold on US policies is anti-semitic. Whatever that means.

except for his stance on guns, the MSM will depict him as moderate and mainstream, which by today's crazy standards is probably fair. I think Obama is trying to not be too greedy here and just going for the anti-second amendment angle; they've already packed the court with their kind anyway

Cruz has said that no action should be taken because the democrats did the same thing in the 80s. Trump should come out and say they should have a hearing, but not necessary pass the nominee. That would bring both parties together and start the process of cleaning up DC.

No thanks. Rather clean up DC with a giant shop vac. The last thing I want is people reaching across aisles to "work together" in DC. Seems like whenever that happens we get "compromises" that steal our liberties and reward oligarchs.

In 2001 a grand total of one senator voted against the original unPatriot act. Ninety-eight domestic terrorists voted yay in a bipartisan effort.

My flexibility with regard to the 2nd Amendment is non existent regardless of what the supreme geriatrics claim they've re-interpreted the BOR to say.
