Our representatives need to be reminded of who they serve.
They don't serve the people, that's for sure. Who do we think the dual citizens in Congress serve? I know who I think it is!

In my opinion, dual citizenship is fine -- it has no inherent negatives.

Dual citizenship by definition means loyalty to two countries. Therefore, a dual-citizen cannot hold any public office without acquiring the inherent negative of lack of loyalty.

Think about it: a dual citizen can vote in both countries. A dual citizen who is a politician can vote and VOTE in US Gov business. (Larger one is the Senate/House vote -- counts way more than commoners' votes.)

Call up a list of dual-citizenship politicians. There is an obvious exposure to the sovereignty of the USA.

In the CRA, that should be addressed. It is far bigger than it sounds.

THIS LIST IS DEMOCRATS ONLY:

Gretchen Whitmer Fails to Derail Recall Petitions; Appeals Court Rejects All Arguments

In a photo provided by the Michigan Office of the Governor, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer addresses the state during a speech in Lansing, Mich., Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020. The governor delivered remarks addressing Michiganders after the Michigan Attorney General, Michigan State Police, U.S. Department of Justice, and FBI announced state …

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) failed to stop a series of recall petitions filed against her after the state Board of Canvassers approved them.
Whitmer appealed the approval of seven petitions against her and Lieutenant Gov. Garlin Gilchrist (D), and last week, an appeals court rejected all of her arguments.
According to Michigan law, the Canvassers judge a petition’s language and presentation for clarity and factual accuracy.
One petition, filed by James Makowski, stated the governor should be recalled because “Gretchen Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020–143 on July 1, 2020 closing indoor service at bars.”
Whitmer argued “bars” was an ambiguous and undefined term. But the court noted the petition used precisely the same language as Whitmer’s executive order: Its subtitle was “Closing indoor service at bars.” More:
The Governor maintains that where “electors are left to guess at [the] type of ‘bar’ the petition refers to, the petition lack sufficient clarity and is noncompliant with the Michigan Election Law.” We reject this argument. Any person invited to sign the petition would very likely envision a reference to a conventional tavern, where people can purchase and consume alcoholic beverages, when faced with the wording, “closing indoor service at bars.” This is particularly so when the word is taken in context, used as it is in connection with the related terms “nightclubs” and “restaurants,” strongly suggesting that the term “bars” refers to an establishment, like a nightclub and like many restaurants, that serves alcoholic beverages.

In another case:
The Governor argues that where she was only identified by name and title in the petition form where it called for that information, but [the petitioner] did not repeat her name and title within the wording of the reason for the recall, the petition should have been invalidated.
“We reject this argument as it is unpersuasive,” the court ruled.
In another rejected argument, Whitmer attempted to claim “jibberish” that the court ultimately concluded was “an occasional irregularity bound up with the processing of electronic documents” should have been the reason for its rejection. Portions of the text were interrupted by a series of numbers, letters, and characters on a petition related to Whitmer’s policy that put coronavirus-infected patients in nursing homes to recuperate:
We conclude that although the Governor relied on the appearance of a string of nonsensical characters to support her challenge to the clarity of the petition language, the Governor’s hasty conclusion about a word-processing irregularity does not arise often enough to compel reading the petition as featuring some gibberish in place of several normal characters that appear the rest of the time.
Whitmer attempted an appeal based on a faulty transcript. Specifically, the governor objected to a quotation given at a press conference in which she attacked a political organization and the DeVos family. For example, the official transcript read “political tax,” while Whitmer clearly referred to “political attacks” in her remarks. She also cited a portion of the transcript that said “I’m me” when she said “on me.”
Whitmer also attempted to have the petition tossed out because a portion repeated the word “on” twice in its introductory sentence.
The court disagreed with Whitmer’s arguments and said “any reader who might think the repeated ‘on’ intentional might ponder the peculiar usage, but would not glean from it any misapprehension of what is actually being conveyed.
“We plan to appeal this disappointing decision and we fully intend to beat back these irresponsible partisan attacks against the Governor in the courts, on the streets, or at the ballot,” a spokesman for the governor said in reaction, the Daily Wire reported.
He lashed out, claiming the effort was “part of a massive and coordinated attack by Republicans,” despite the Board of Canvassers being appointed by Whitmer.
As for the recall process itself, organizers would need to collect roughly 1.1 million valid signatures within 60 days of the first signature being collected, Fox 17 reported.
The deadline to appear on the November 2021 ballot is July 30. If a sufficient number of signatures are gathered, essentially a do-over election would be held with Whitmer squaring off against a Republican nominee.
Whitmer intends to stand for reelection in 2022.
The case is Whitmer v. Board of State Canvassers, Docket Nos. 354474, 354475, 354583, 354794, 354795, 354878, and 354582, in the Michigan Court of Appeals.

Michigan Supreme Court: Elections panel must certify petition to repeal emergency law

Paul Egan
Detroit Free Press

LANSING — The Board of State Canvassers must certify a voter initiative to repeal the Emergency Powers of Governor Act, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled in a Friday order.
That means that once the board acts on the court's order, the Republican-controlled Legislature can repeal the law with majority votes in each chamber, and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be unable to veto the measure.

The order gave no breakdown on what position each justice took on the question, but there was no dissent accompanying the order, suggesting the decision was unanimous.
"The court has it exactly right — the Board of State Canvassers had a clear legal duty to certify what was obvious, that we had collected far more signatures than required," said Fred Wszolek, a spokesman for Unlock Michigan, the group behind the petition drive.
"We urge the Michigan House and Senate to act promptly to finally strike this awful law from the books forever."
Whitmer used the 1945 law extensively to issue emergency orders related to the coronavirus pandemic until Oct. 2, when the Michigan Supreme Court struck down the law as an unconstitutional ceding of legislative power to the executive branch of government.
Although the law is no longer in effect, Democrats want to keep it on the books, apparently in the hope that the Michigan Supreme Court might reverse the October decision. The makeup of the court has shifted since then, from a 4-3 majority for Republican nominees to a 4-3 majority for Democratic nominees.
In April, the Board of State Canvassers deadlocked 2-2, along partisan lines, over whether to certify the petition.

More:How Michigan's system for approving voter-initiated laws is a national outlier
The Bureau of Elections staff recommended the board certify the petition. Based on a sample of signatures that it analyzed, staff determined that Unlock Michigan had submitted in excess of the just over 340,000 valid signatures required back in October. Staff estimated the total number at just over 460,000.
But the two Democrats on the board wanted to launch an investigation into whether the signatures were collected properly, despite the fact that Attorney General Dana Nessel announced April 21 that she had concluded a months-long investigation into Unlock Michigan without bringing criminal charges.
The court's order said an investigation into the petition drive sought by Democratic members of the elections panel went beyond the board's powers.
The Free Press reported Sept. 22 on a Sept. 4 Unlock Michigan training session for signature collectors that was secretly recorded by a representative of Keep Michigan Safe, the group opposing efforts to repeal the Emergency Powers of Governor Act.
The video showed Erik Tisinger, who was working for a California-based signature collection and processing company called In the Field Inc., advising trainees about giving potential signers inaccurate information about the purpose of the petition, trespassing on private property, unlawfully leaving petitions in someone else's possession to collect signatures and giving misleading testimony in a court deposition.
In August, the Free Press reported that another company involved in collecting signatures, Let the People Decide, has a history of alleged "bait and switch" tactics in paid petition drives around the U.S., in which people were allegedly given inaccurate descriptions of what the initiatives would do, and the company is headed by a man who has a criminal record for falsifying his voter registration.
Unlock Michigan has said it did not submit any of the signatures that were improperly collected, but Democrats on the board said they wanted to explore the issue further.
Wszolek said Whitmer used the law "recklessly to crush businesses, families and lives," and "no governor should be able to do so ever again."
The court did not rule in October that Whitmer used the law improperly. Instead, it ruled that the Legislature of the 1940s erred in drafting the law, in that it unconstitutionally turned over to the executive branch of government powers that belonged to the Legislature.
After the 1945 law was struck down, Whitmer turned to orders under the Public Health Code, which were not affected by the ruling.

The only good thing that has come from the 2020 election for me is now I know these degenerates were never elected.

I am guessing the last actual election in the US was when Ronald Reagan won 49 states.

The Michigan vaccination raffle gimmick that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) touted failed to motivate many residents to get the shot for a chance to win millions in prizes.

“Less than 37,000 people in Michigan have gotten their first dose of a COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus] vaccine since the start of the program,” titled MI Shot to Win, which was announced July 1, NBC 25 reported.

Eager to change the subject from her scandals, Whitmer held a festive press conference shortly before the July 4 holiday weekend, promising the chance to win millions in tax dollars to those who registered after they received a coronavirus vaccine, including $50,000 daily drawings.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Whitmer was aiming to use the gimmick to reach her goal of 70 percent of residents receiving at least one dose of the vaccine. The objective was to raise the rate by 9 percentage points, or 768,000 newly vaccinated Michiganders.
Alas, the scheme fell more than 95 percent short of its goal.

“We’re not seeing our numbers skyrocket like we hoped,” Kalamazoo County Health Officer Jim Rutherford lamented to NBC 25.
“We’re not seeing a terrible demand for the vaccine, and we’ve tried a lot of different approaches and I was hopeful that this lottery would increase that but just haven’t seen anything yet that would signify a significant increase.”

The news station noted such raffle gimmicks “did nothing to improve vaccination rates when compared to trends in other states.”
Whitmer said during the announcement Ohio was the first state to offer financial giveaways to get the vaccine approved for emergency use. But, she claimed, Michigan was going to do it “bigger and better,” the Oakland Press reported.

A study of the Ohio scheme found no difference in the growth of vaccination rates after the creation of the raffle.
“The study did not find evidence that a lottery-based incentive in Ohio was associated with increased rates of adult COVID-19 vaccinations,” the study authors wrote, according to the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy.
“In contrast, the analyses suggest that the rate of decline in vaccinations slowed to a greater extent in the US than in Ohio after the May 12 lottery announcement.”

Despite the taxpayer-funded giveaway and Whitmer pep talk, 62.4 percent of Michiganders are vaccinated.

State board votes 4-0 to certify petition to revoke Michigan Gov. Whitmer emergency powers

The Unlock Michigan petition now heads to the GOP-led Legislature for expected enactment.

After two orders from the Michigan Supreme Court, the State Board of Canvassers unanimously certified the Unlock Michigan petition aiming to revoke Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's emergency powers.

The petition heads to the GOP-led Legislature. The spokeswoman for Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey of Clarklake, Abby Walls, said lawmakers intend to enact the petition "as soon as we are able."
Fred Wszolek, the spokesman for Unlock Michigan, welcomed the news.

"We're looking forward to the next and final step on the long read: passage by the Michigan House and Senate of our initiative to repeal this law so abused by Governor Whitmer," Wszolek said in a statement.

The Board in April of 2020 deadlocked 2-2 on multiple motions.

The Unlock Michigan petition, filed in October 2020, dates back to the early COVID-19 pandemic when Gov. Gretchen Whitmer enacted the most severe restrictions in the 12 Midwest states via 1945 pandemic powers the petition aims to eliminate. Those far-reaching orders included threatening criminal charges for operating a motorboat, visiting a secondary home, and banning stores larger than 50,000 square feet from selling gardening supplies. Entire professions, including barbers and landscapers, were deemed "non-essential."

But on Oct. 2, 2020, The Michigan Supreme Court tossed many of Whitmer's executive orders, but split 4-3 on whether the 1945 Emergency Powers of the Governor Act "is an unlawful delegation of legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution."

I was going to suggest burning her at the stake, but suing her and everybody who enabled her and their families until their great grandchildren are selling pencils on streetcorners sounds better.

Then burn her at the stake.

FBI agent in Whitmer kidnap case arrested following domestic incident

Robert Snell
The Detroit News

The arrest of an FBI agent credited with helping thwart a plot to kidnap and kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer complicates one of the most closely watched cases of violent extremism that is becoming increasingly focused on allegations of wrongdoing by investigators.

FBI Special Agent Richard Trask, 39, of Kalamazoo, was charged Monday with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder following a domestic incident with his wife Sunday. He was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond following an arraignment in 8th District Court in Kalamazoo and faces a charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

FBI Special Agent Richard Trask

His arrest comes at a critical juncture in the criminal case against five men charged in federal court with plotting to kidnap Whitmer. Defense lawyers last week leveled a broad attack on the foundation of the high-profile case and suggested a second FBI agent was trying to sabotage defense teams.

Trask, 39, has worked for the FBI since 2011 and served as the FBI's public face in the Whitmer case, testifying in federal court about the investigation. He has worked on cases involving espionage, terrorism and domestic extremism investigations.

“It’s the last thing you want for a major case like this,” said Andrew Arena, former special agent in charge of the FBI’s Detroit office. “Any time you give the defense any ammunition it's not good.”

Details about the incident were not available. Trask did not respond to a message seeking comment Monday and there was no defense lawyer listed in court records.

FBI spokeswoman Mara Schneider said the bureau is cooperating with the prosecutor's office. Trask's job status was unclear Monday.

"In accordance with FBI policy, the incident is subject to internal review, and I cannot comment further at this time," she said in a statement.

That review would include an investigation by FBI internal affairs, Arena said.

“Depending on the severity, it could be a suspension until things are ironed out one way or another,” Arena said.

Aside from his FBI duties, Trask opened a gym at his rural property in Oshtemo Township near Kalamazoo and offers CrossFit training, according to social media posts and state business filings. He filed state paperwork for BCB Health & Wellness last year and maintains an active Instagram account showing him exercising, flexing and posing shirtless.

A stunning new report released by Buzzfeed News has revealed that the FBI was almost entirely responsible for hatching a plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to pin it on ‘right-wing extremists’.
FBI informants “had a hand in nearly every aspect” of the alleged plot to kidnap Gov Gretchen Whitmer, “starting with its inception,” according to the report.

This plot, mind you, was used as an “October surprise” to interfere in the 2020 election.

From BuzzFeed News, “Watching the Watchmen”:

In the inky darkness of a late summer night last September, three cars filled with armed men began circling Birch Lake in northern Michigan, looking for ways to approach Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s three-bedroom vacation cottage, subdue her — using a stun gun if necessary — and drag her away.
One vehicle stopped to check out a boat launch while a second searched in vain for the right house in the thick woods ringing the lake. The third car ran countersurveillance, using night vision goggles to look out for cops and handheld radios to communicate with the others.
Earlier, they had scoped out a bridge over the Elk River, just a few miles away, scrambling down under the span to figure out where plastic explosives would need to be placed to blow it sky-high. That would slow police response, giving the men time to escape with the governor — who had infuriated them by imposing COVID lockdowns, among other outrages — and either take her to Lake Michigan, where they could abandon her on a boat, or whisk her to Wisconsin, where she would be tried as a “tyrant.”
“Everybody down with what’s going on?” an Iraq War veteran in the group demanded to know when they ended their recon mission, well past midnight, at a campsite where they were all staying.
“If you’re not down with the thought of kidnapping,” someone else replied, “don’t sit here.”
The men planned for all kinds of obstacles, but there was one they didn’t anticipate: The FBI had been listening in all along.
For six months, the Iraq War vet had been wearing a wire, gathering hundreds of hours of recordings. He wasn’t the only one. A biker who had traveled from Wisconsin to join the group was another informant. The man who’d advised them on where to put the explosives — and offered to get them as much as the task would require — was an undercover FBI agent. So was a man in one of the other cars who said little and went by the name Mark.
Just over three weeks later, federal and state agents swooped in and arrested more than a dozen men accused of participating in what a federal prosecutor called a “deeply disturbing” criminal conspiracy hatched over months in secret meetings, on encrypted chats, and in paramilitary-style training exercises. Seven of the men who had driven to Birch Lake that night would end up in jail.
[…] The government has documented at least 12 confidential informants who assisted the sprawling investigation. […]
An examination of the case by BuzzFeed News also reveals that some of those informants, acting under the direction of the FBI, played a far larger role than has previously been reported. Working in secret, they did more than just passively observe and report on the actions of the suspects. Instead, they had a hand in nearly every aspect of the alleged plot, starting with its inception. The extent of their involvement raises questions as to whether there would have even been a conspiracy without them.
A longtime government informant from Wisconsin, for example, helped organize a series of meetings around the country where many of the alleged plotters first met one another and the earliest notions of a plan took root, some of those people say. The Wisconsin informant even paid for some hotel rooms and food as an incentive to get people to come.
The Iraq War vet, for his part, became so deeply enmeshed in a Michigan militant group that he rose to become its second-in-command, encouraging members to collaborate with other potential suspects and paying for their transportation to meetings. He prodded the alleged mastermind of the kidnapping plot to advance his plan, then baited the trap that led to the arrest.
The alleged “mastermind,” Adam Fox, was a homeless drunkard with mental problems who was temporarily given shelter in a friend’s shop basement.

BuzzFeed continues:

This account is based on an analysis of court filings, transcripts, exhibits, audio recordings, and other documents, as well as interviews with more than two dozen people with direct knowledge of the case, including several who were present at meetings and training sessions where prosecutors say the plot was hatched. All but one of the 14 original defendants have pleaded not guilty, and they vigorously deny that they were involved in a conspiracy to kidnap anyone.
[…] To date, one defendant has formally accused the government of entrapment, arguing that the FBI assembled the key plotters, encouraged the group’s anti-government feelings, and even gave its members military-style training. Additional defendants have said they plan to make similar claims when the cases, divided between federal and state court, go to trial starting as soon as October.
Last week, the lawyer for one defendant filed a motion that included texts from an FBI agent to a key informant, the Iraq War veteran, directing him to draw specific people into the conspiracy — potential evidence of entrapment that he said the government “inadvertently disclosed.” He is requesting all texts sent and received by that informant, and other attorneys are now considering motions that accuse the government of intentionally withholding evidence of entrapment.
Meanwhile, Gregory Townsend, one of the lead prosecutors handling the cases against eight of the defendants in Michigan state court, was reassigned in May pending an attorney general audit into whether he had withheld evidence about deals cut with informants during a murder and arson trial in Oakland County in 2000.
And on Sunday, in a matter apparently unrelated to the alleged kidnapping conspiracy, one of the lead FBI agents in the case, Richard J. Trask, was charged in state court in Kalamazoo with assault with intent to do great bodily harm.
Trask was criminally charged for allegedly beating his wife.

The FBI appears to have once again entrapped homeless, low IQ people with mental problems for political gain, which seems to be the norm for the last decade.

When are disability rights and homeless rights organizations going to stand up and demand the government stop entrapping struggling Americans with serious issues in cockamamie terrorism plots?

There’s a certain percentage of any population that is highly suggestible, highly gullible, very low IQ and fraught with mental issues.

The feds should be helping these people stay out of trouble rather than entrapping them for political gain!

If I was their defense attorney, I would submit for the record the fact that between all of them they have a combined IQ of 70, and less than a full set of teeth. (Edited because spelun can be tough)

Michigan Repeals Emergency Powers Law Gretchen Whitmer Exploited for Endless, Unilateral Lockdowns

KYLE OLSON21 Jul 2021

The Michigan legislature completed repealing an emergency powers law Wednesday that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) exploited to maintain a perpetual lockdown for months.

A citizens initiative triggered a legislative vote to repeal the 1945 law that was immune to a Whitmer veto. Last week, the Senate voted to repeal the law. On Wednesday, it was the House’s turn.

“As the governor issued unilateral orders around the Legislature, people felt like they had lost their voice in Lansing and had no representation,” state Rep. Matt Hall (R) said during debate.

“They felt the system was not working for them.”

As a result of Whitmer’s endless, unilateral lockdown orders, a group called Unlock Michigan organized a petition drive to collect a sufficient amount of signatures to force a legislative vote or one on the November 2022 ballot. After submitting more signatures than necessary and obtaining verification by the Democrat Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, the state Board of Canvassers refused to approve the signatures, forcing the state Supreme Court to step in twice.

“Those concerned and impacted by these unilateral actions, including many small business owners and families, began circulating this petition because they felt they had no other way for their voice to be heard,” Hall said Wednesday, adding:

They acted in an organic, constructive fashion. Repealing this emergency law tells these many people that they will be heard and helps re-establish needed balance within our state government going forward. I’m proud to stand up for them and be a resounding voice for them today.

Organizers say they will now target public health laws Whitmer used after the 1945 law was ruled unconstitutional in October.

Next, we'll turn our attention to the public health law Whitmer abused to destroy lives, businesses, and futures. Don't bet against our success there either. 2/

“Next, we’ll turn our attention to the public health law Whitmer abused to destroy lives, businesses, and futures,” Unlock Michigan spokesman Fred Wszolek posted on Twitter.

“Don’t bet against our success there, either.”

Michigan Rising Action praised the passage of the initiative.

“Today’s vote is a resounding victory for the people of Michigan, who over the past year, suffered needlessly under Governor Whitmer’s abuse of the 1945 Emergency Powers which she used to impose some of the most restrictive COVID rules in the nation,” Eric Ventimiglia, the group’s executive director, said in a statement.

“Thanks to the work of Republicans in the legislature and hundreds of thousands of Michiganders who took part in the Unlock Michigan initiative, Michigan will never again allow Whitmer or future governors to wield unilateral and unchecked power over the people of our state.”

I'm sorry Irons, but HTF did Michiganders allow this useless piece of flesh become the leader of a once great state?

I know that you are not personally responsible, because you may be the smartest man in Michigan. I say that with the utmost sincerity as you are one of the people on GIM2 that I would go to for advice on just about anything.

Also, HTF has this useless piece of flesh not been recalled?

Irons, I would write a check for $1000, and I would be willing to plan an coordinate your campaign to run for governor of your state. I know you won't run, but I would support the living hell out of it.

I've said my peace, and counted to three.

Are the numbers correct, it was 12 FBI officials to the 6 entrapped defendants?
So 2/3 the plot was by the government.
Too bad they still couldn't pull it off.
Good luck. Hope you fare better than the folks being prosecuted for the staged January 6 Capitol event.
That was a democrat and Capitol police colluded event if ever one was seen.
Those are political prisoners

This demon was never elected, just like that effing incestuous female terrorist was never elected in your state. These people and thousands of others were placed in positions of power with gradual, carefully crafted fraud. Get rid of the machines and we will actually become a self governing country again. I still believe we are a 70 to 80% sane and rational country and our problem is the 30% have found ways to take over.

Michigan is eliminating laws and enacting other laws so a demon like whitner will never have that kind of power again. This has to happen in every state. By doing what these fuckers did in the 2020 election and the lead up to it they have exposed every trick they have. Now it's our job to make sure they are shut down on every level from president to dog catcher and every elected parasite in between.

And don't kid yourself, the left have only just begun to get violent. These people cannot be converted or reasoned with. I think the only way we're going to know the good guys won this war is when something good happens and the left doesn't take to the streets burning and looting.
