Honestly, I don't understand the mindset of contemplating suicide as a result of this lock down.
Same reason leftists don't own guns my good man. They are so fucking unstable if they had a pistol lying there they would be tempted shoot themselves 10 times a day. Most are a facebook rejection away from slitting their wrists or jumping out a window. Either one would be good but doing both would be best.
I am thankful so many have easy access to sleeping pills and cheap liquor, less messy for the EMT's.

. Anywho.................

You have stated the law. Now, someone with pockets deep enough, must put up the good fight in a homebrewed court where the dealer stacks the deck in favor of the house. Even if said champion wins, he will most likely be poor and homeless when finished. Sounds much like the first Revolution.

If I had to guess most were already unstable and this was the last straw. Stress is a bitch though. I lost an uncle to suicide, like 10 years ago. Never saw it coming.

All I can say is stress reduction should be everyone's life goal.

SEE IT: Multiple armed men ‘storm’ Michigan state house, Gov. Whitmer protected by police

Making matters murkier, the Republican-led state legislature is preparing to let Michigan’s state of emergency order expire Thursday and set up a legal fight with Whitmer who is claiming she has emergency authority during the pandemic with or without legislative approval.
Whitmer had asked the legislature to extend the state of emergency in order to extend liability protections for health care workers and first responders.
A Michigan court recently ruled that Whitmer’s stay-at-home order does not violate the constitutional rights of residents.

“We’ve got to do everything we can to avoid a second wave of COVID-19 spread,” Whitmer said

Drive in movies are scary even if following the extra rules. This ain't about a virus!

'I did my due diligence’: State’s oldest drive-in movie theater wants to open

Steve Kursinsky, owner of Michigan’s oldest remaining drive-in movie theater for over 20 years, was ready to open the Hi-Way Drive-In Theater in Carsonville this Friday.

He had it all planned out by Wednesday morning.

The theater would run at half capacity with only 200 cars allowed for social distancing. There were four portable restrooms added to the theater to take the pressure off the bathrooms. There would be online sales for concessions and tickets and employees would wear masks and gloves.

By Wednesday night though, he wasn’t so sure he could open and if it would be a violation of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order.

“The repercussions are what scare me,” he said Wednesday night.

Good News!
After lots of phone time and looking at all things we are able to open. We will be working out all the logistics in next 2 days with updates to follow .
There will be some changes 1/2 capacity ( every other car with a space between )
working on online ticketing.
working on online concession ordering ....

On March 23, Whitmer announced the executive order, which closed nonessential businesses and services, like movie theaters, to help stop the spread of novel coronavirus. This order has been extended to May 15.

Kursinsky said if you look at the executive order, it doesn’t directly state drive-in movie theaters. It talks about theaters, which are not the same format and even have different contracts with movie companies.

It’s not like people would be sitting elbow to elbow and it’s no different than a McDonald’s or a Dairy Queen drive-thru, he said.

However, the governor’s office doesn’t feel the same way.

In a statement sent by Deputy Press Secretary Bobby Leddy, the governor’s office said the administration is in constant contact with health and business experts to build a path forward for each industry, “and consistent with our executive orders drive-in movie theaters are to remain closed to the public at this time.”

Kursinsky said he had talked to local law enforcement agencies and state representatives about the issue.

https://www.facebook.com/1088993924...FrgDnA8ri1LV9jhgEUvNU6syFyMJFY3w&__tn__=EHH-R

He said he explained to someone through a number he found listed on michigan.gov what he was trying to do. He asked to be directed to a person that could clarify a ruling on a business. He explained the precautions they would take and said the person said he would be in the clear, but wouldn’t give written documentation.
“I did my due diligence,” Kursinsky said.
Ryan Jarvi, press secretary for the Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, said in an email the attorney general’s office has a number of people working with Whitmer’s legal team to field questions related to the executive orders.
The office has a specific protocol in place for handling inquiries related to the executive orders. The office employees, including himself, direct inquiries related to interpretations of the orders to the governor’s office, he said.
“Again, the AG’s office agrees with the Governor’s office that drive-in movie theaters should remain closed at this time,” Jarvi said. “Willful violations of the Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order can result in a $500 fine and/or 90 days in jail for each offense, as well as licensing penalties for businesses and other entities. Violations should be reported to law enforcement agencies overseeing the jurisdiction in which the alleged offense occurred.“
Read More:
Kursinsky is frustrated. He wants to open.
He and employees had been working on getting the theater open the past couple days, painting poles, washing, bleaching and sanitizing things. He had spent thousands of dollars on inventory Wednesday morning when he thought he could open.
He said he worked hard and all of a sudden was being told not to open. But he didn’t want to be an example.
As of Thursday morning Kursinsky said he was no longer taking questions on the status of the theater. Showtimes and ticket prices for Friday were still listed on the theater’s Facebook page Thursday morning.
The Hi-Way Drive-In opened in 1947 and is Michigan's oldest remaining drive-in movie theater, according to Pure Michigan.

Good job Shootie the state run media here is trying to keep this quiet but it was a big deal. The guys not only got inside the state capital they let the rest of the protesters in and they were all chanting "Lock Her Up". The state police wisely backed off and didn't get pushy, just kept the protesters out of the house chambers. The protesters won, gov half-whit did not get her extended state of emergency.

Michigan House adjourns without extending coronavirus state of emergency

The move sets the stage for a legal fight between the Republican-led legislature and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Some patriots took action and the state legislature turned on the queen. No they didn't start shooting state troopers, but what the militia guys did took guts, and they got some results.

I say good on those guys.

Apparently Ohio's ahole dictator just extended their stay at home order till May 30. Sucks since it was to end today. These executives are completely out of control.

it's the 'votes' that still worry me...has that process been cleaned up yet?

we won't be certain, any of us, that our votes have been counted, there's still no way to know, it's still opaque, even worse now as 'we' have the push for Mail In Ballots to contend with...

The state legislature is also seeking judicial relief from the MI governess' blatant disregard for Constitutionality. Pretty much everyone that's not a complete sheeple is ganging up on the beatch.

That ABSOLUTELY is a storm these days. Did you see the comments by the scared sless legislatures? Saying that some were wearing BP vests and they thanked God that the sergent-at-arms were "protecting" them.

As long as voter machines and mail in votes exist voting means nothing because there's no way to certify the vote count is valid.

i was meaning 'storming' is such an over-reach by the media. in certain areas of our country, this group would simply be attending a barbecue to celebrate someones birthday...

but you knew that!

my county just declared we're now a 'mask-on zone'

isn't this just the opposite of what we've already gone through? masks the first few weeks, then off with them?
Now we get the flu, let it settle in, then we're warned to stay at home, masks optional for everyone, everywhere...the flu goes through and not even connected to being turned loose, as some of us never stopped, but rather to show a sign of solidarity to our .gov, we need to brandish our masks everywhere...but Governor, the flu is gone...you dick!

Governors Gone Wild: meanwhile, in the People's State of MA, Governor Baker just mandated the wearing of face masks in public. The MA GOP can take long bow for nominating this sunofabitch.
You can almost hear the leftist Massholes in Boston, Worcester and Cambridge from here...

I mean what would have happened it it was One guy? He's tackled and arrested and probably labeled a terrorist. Three guys... maybe even worse. But they had the numbers in this case and it worked really really well. Some of those politicians probably needed a pants check, not a temperature check.

Yes, showing their colors in numbers was, not only wise, but the only way.

But by non-violently entering, they tipped their hands. It's as unwise as Warning Shots.

They should have stood outside, presented demands, and then stormed in. With firepower, and ready to fertilize the Tree of Liberty.

They are Massholes and I'm ashamed of every one of them. Darwin will claim a rich harvest here and rightly so, they do not deserve life or liberty.
I feel your pain. I used to be ashamed of them too. I eventually resigned from the club and moved north 10 years ago. I've never looked back since!

Funny. No photos or vids.

Somehow all this crap happens, and the only swastikas or White Power signs are put up by plants. Often professionally printed. As in, paid for...by "someone."

This woman is cracked. Recall takes a long time, but surely there's a way the State Legislature can declare her mentally unfit and have the Lt. Gov serve as acting governor until she's thrown out.

They're stupid and with little imagination. That's why they're "liberals" - and "socialists."

So they just burp up the same invective they've been using since Alinsky's Best Girl was First Lady and Gnu Yuck's Senatrix.

Blue State governors are planning to shut down their states indefinitely, to prevent in-person elections.

If Trump is going to move against them, it better be soon.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen

Just shows what a joke we all are now?
https://www.mlive.com/public-intere...n-care-package-from-gov-gretchen-whitmer.html

By Melissa Frick | mfrick@mlive.com
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has given Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong a taste of Michigan – literally.
The Michigan governor recently sent Strong a “Michigan care package” full of Kalamazoo-based Bell’s Brewery beer and memorabilia, in honor of Strong’s recent portrayal of “that woman from Michigan."
Strong offered up a spoofed message from the governor last weekend, where she poked fun at recent headlines like President Donald Trump’s reference to Whitmer as “that woman from Michigan” and protests outside the state capital.

Twitter Suspends Candace Owens for Telling Michigan to ‘Go to Work’
23,577

Conservative firebrand and BLEXIT founder Candace Owens was suspended from Twitter on Saturday after tweeting that people in Michigan should open their businesses and “go to work” despite the draconian measures implemented by Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) in response to the Chinese virus.
“Apparently [Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer] believes she is a duly elected dictator of a socialist country,” Owens had tweeted. “The people of Michigan need to stand up to her. Open your businesses. Go to work.”
“The police think she’s crazy too,” she added. “They are not going to arrest 10,000,000 people for going to work.”

On Saturday, Owens received a notification from Twitter informing her that her account was suspended over the aforementioned tweet.
“We determined this Tweet violated the Twitter Rules, specifically for:” read the notification, but did not further clarify which specific rules Owens had violated on the social media platform.
Lockdown measures established roughly one month ago in response to the Wuhan coronavirus have already upended businesses across the country, and have plunged millions of Americans into unemployment and financial devastation.
Owens told Breitbart News that her options were to either go through a series of admitting that her tweet was in violation of the platform’s Terms of Service [TOS], or appeal her suspension. Owens has chosen to appeal the suspension.
“I refuse to admit to a violation, because none were committed,” Owens told Breitbart News. “Hence the reason they did not list a rule that was violated.”
“I unequivocally stand by every single word of my tweet,” Owens continued. “If Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can use Twitter’s platform to encourage workers to walk out and boycott — I should be allowed to encourage lawful citizens to resume work.”
“The only person breaking any laws is Governor turned Dictator Gretchen Whitmer who is impoverishing millions, ignoring the votes of her state legislature, and as a result, rolling over the constitutionally protected rights of Michigan citizens,” she added.
“Twitter was unable or unwilling to provide me with any specific rule that I violated, which is why I have appealed their decision,” said Owens. “While I am not an expert on twitter TOS, I cannot see how suggesting people ought to work would be a violation of anything other than socialist reverie.”
Twitter did not immediately respond to Breitbart News’ request for comment.

I’m one of 32 to be arrested in Sacramento, CA, yesterday, as our First Amendment right to protest was rudely and tyrannically sabotaged, by Gavin Newsom, who had snipers, police helicopters, and 500 heavily armed CHP officers show up in riot gear. Remember, not a single protester was allowed to bring a gun.
Newsom was announcing California is a Communist state, the citizens don’t have the right to protest, and law is at the end of a gun barrel.
Rebellion against tyranny is obedience to God.
