You live Down Under?

Your photo implies thusly.

Yup! Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, and I see them test that law on a daily basis.
Oh no they don't. Pedestrians have rules too. Ever hear the term Jay Walking? You can get ticketed for crossing a street not on a cross walk. Pedestrians must cross at a corner.

I believe the implication that pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way is founded in the historical courteousness of days gone by; drivers generally moving more slowly, actually stopping for children, the elderly and blind people, and yes, California Vehicle Code states that pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, even when they are jaywalking.

Not saying I like the law, but I adhere to it, mostly because I desire neither the vexatious, litigious liability, nor the perpetually nagging, conscious weight of "legally" plowing a jaywalking ped.

Commifornacate is not a state anymore. A bunch of us decided that. Soon the rest of the US will come around...

"Under Tennessee law, pedestrians have the right of way at all intersections and driveways. However, pedestrians must act responsibly, using pedestrian signals and sidewalks where they are available. When crossing the road at any point other than a marked crosswalk or unmarked crosswalk at an intersection, a pedestrian has a statutory duty to yield the right of way to all vehicles on the roadway. It is the duty of pedestrians to look before starting across a highway, and in the exercise of reasonable care for their own safety, to keep a timely lookout for approaching motor vehicle traffic. On roadways where there is no sidewalk, pedestrians should always walk facing traffic."

90% of California is rural and populated by VERY conservative people.

It is the 10% of geography populated by 70% of the people which gives us a bad rap as a liberal bastion.

I believe the same would apply to NY, IL, WA, OR, NV, and even some of the southern states like FL, AR and even TN.

Wife let me take the bike out of the barn, my usual storage location, and put it in her garage today. Barn is pretty full of straw right now and kinda crowded, was kinda tight in there getting the bike backed in by the straw was no easy chore. Anyway, when she cleared out a place in her garage, she politely ask me if I'd see if I could get it in there. I said sure......... Started it up, needed to turn it around to get it into her garage, so after about a half/or hour later I found my way back to out driveway and yes, it did fit in there.

Her car is presently sitting outside. whistle:

you don't have a living room in your house? That's where bikes park.

If you are on a computer, at least with Firefox, you can do a right click, hit view image and you get the picture the way it should be displayed. It's nothing anyone is doing wrong.

If I take a picture with my digital camera, they come out right, just a pain for me to load to the computer, if I take one with my tablet, something else may or may not happen when I've tried to load them. One reason I do not try to load pictures very often.

Sorry cracker, I was just joshing you, I thought you were doing it on purpose.

For uploading pictures I always put them on the desktop first. (Assuming you use windoze) open it with Win Photo Viewer (I think that’s its name, it should open if you double-click the image — if you haven’t reset the default program for JPGs). If the photo is sideways or upside down just click on the rotate tool then save the file. Now it should load right side up.

Rotate.JPG

My apologies if you know this, tried this and it still doesn’t work.

The driver, here, is completely oblivious to the biker and I think that is most often the case...

In my biker days that boy in the car would have gotten a mud hole stomped in his ass.
