Preferably a "minor" so no "record"... (and they're faster than the DoNut gang...)
Funny you should mention the donut gang. Last night was tame but I was still sizing up the Police there. I know I could have outrun two of them easily. The third officer was a big, buff guy who looked like he could run. I think he could have caught me. I'm not worried about a criminal record. I'm unemployable anyway now. :) I have only been arrested twice in my life. Protesting was one time and I got arrested in Greece in the 70s. That is a long story and falls under the "you can't make this sh@t up" category. I think the charges on that were disturbing the peace and raising the dead.

Nah... I read the Grik document; the charges were for disturbing the peace BY raising the dead.

His answer, after handing some goodies out, was "The only think I'm tryin' to kill is a stereotype."

Sure. Desensitize us. Make us afraid to act decisively when one of these Ollie Snackbars come up, to blow up a bus or a statue or a garbage can.

That stunt could get him shot. SHOULD get him shot. It's about as funny as uncontrollable diarrhea.

This is the saddest thing I have read in a long time. Another glaring indication that the country is falling fast.

Thank you for all your efforts. You're doing great even if it feels fruitless sometimes.
Yeah it was sad. Its the first time I really understood we might not win this battle. I cried the whole way home. Im better now. If I can't change things then the next best action is to see if I can be a pain in the ass.

Nope, they would just get arrested for having no shirts. I'm not sure if people understand how far this has gone. At the Orange county meeting BLM were doing loud anitwhite chants. That was ok. When the Christian group started singing Amazing Grace they were told by Police to shut up or leave. Anyone with signs had to take them to the car except for the huge BLM banner pasted to the outside wall.
How have they outlawed signs? What law did the police claim you were breaking? Same with the singing?

When we started this months ago you could have signs. Then in some counties at the school board meetings you couldn't. The rules change every time for every country. In Wake county we have to stand across the parking lot from the school board building. Its all keeps changing is very confusing. The cop never gave a reason. He just told us our signs had to go to the car and to stop signing. When asked about the BLM banner he just said he had no authority to remove it .

Ask him what law you are breaking, and who made the rules, and whether that person has the right to remove your first amendment right to free speech. Ask him where his authority to remove your signs comes from and why it applies to your signs and not the BLM sign. And record his answer. Ask him if he will arrest you if you don't comply, and if so what will the charge be? Ask him who gave him his instructions and where their authority comes from. Ask him whether his job is to serve you or the school board, and why is he doing what they ask instead of what you ask? And if he refers you up the line to his supervisor who gave him instructions, get the supervisor's name and then go and ask him the same questions until you find out where the rule is coming from.

Also - talk to a good freedom lawyer (e.g. Liberty Counsel) and then get yourselves arrested for refusing to comply and take them all to court (make sure you have got legal counsel lined up first though and that you follow any instructions they provide about exactly what to do to get arrested). Or is there a lawyer parent who can help?

Next time, ask them by what authority they are violating your rights to free expression. The local school board is not located on private property.

Edit: Rebel beat me to it.

I have been talking to the ladies about a civil disobedience arrest. We need a lawyer behind us and we need the right media there. Most of our media is outrageous. WRAL in Raleigh is a lost cause but if cultivated we may get some fair press from several others. If we do arrests it has to be apparent we are doing it as parents and not part of a political group. From what I am seeing school boards all over the country are imploding.

its odd here. Wake County holds their meeting at the school board building. Other counties move them from school to school within the district. I need to be clearer on the law and if there is a difference. BTW, one of the biggest asses on the wake school board was behind plexiglass the last meting. I'm not sure if it was germ related or bulletproof.

what are they up to? I have never know politicians to apologize for anything.

They didn't appear to be apologizing to the people they ought to have aplogized to - the parents. Instead they were apologizing to their own members - the school boards - presumably for their poor political acumen.

From the article:

"The memo comes as school board organizations in at least 20 states distanced themselves from the NSBA, citing disagreement over the way it has characterized concerned parents. Some have quit or moved to leave the NSBA."

It's costing them money and credibility. It should cost the organization's existence.

Other than that, their behavior is like that of a thug Leo that yells "Stop resisting!" while beating a perp with a nightstick.

They got caught, it’s why they are sorry. Worse, they got caught colluding with the Whitehouse on what the letter should say. They never expected it to be on the news or topics of Congressional hearings

Correct!

They committed a criminal act of social violence (deprivation of inalienable rights), and they got caught, along with the fake AG.

We the People are indeed fighting back, and it is the lawyers, guns and money doing the talking now.

No one understands violence and coercion better than those who perpetrate coercive violence; in this case the .gov school boards.

Luv this guy. He's quite the fabricator and entertaining as well
Plus he has that teutonic talent of accuracy, as well as a joyous bent of innovating simple things into serious weapons. Perhaps inadvertently helping all of us for the times to come.

I've purchased a few slingshots because of his history on gim. Lots of rocks around here...

WASHINGTON (KFOR) – The U.S. Department of Defense spoke Monday about the Oklahoma National Guard rejecting the Pentagon’s coronavirus vaccine mandate.
It’s a war of words unfolding between Oklahoma and the Pentagon.
President Joe Biden mandated military members be vaccinated. However, the Oklahoma National Guard says its taking orders from Gov. Kevin Stitt instead.
It all started with last weekend’s announcement that the state national guard will follow Stitt’s order, citing U.S. code.
New commander of Oklahoma National Guard refuses to enforce vaccine mandate
However, the U.S. Department of Defense said they have the authority to mandate the vaccines regardless.
“The secretary has the authorities he needs to require this vaccine across the force and that includes the national guard,” said John Kirby, the department of defense’s press secretary. “He will respond appropriately.”
Over the weekend, Brig. Gen. Thomas Mancino, appointed by Stitt as Oklahoma’s adjutant general last week, issued an update to the COVID-19 vaccine policy for the Oklahoma National Guard.
The full statement can be read below.
“This policy is not anti-vaccine. I and the Governor are both vaccinated. I encourage all our Oklahoma Guard Members to get vaccinated if they choose to do so. We want to educate and inform our Soldiers and Airmen so that they can make an informed decision regarding the DoD Vaccine Mandate.
Under Title 32, Congress established a dual framework for the National Guard. The states receive federal funding in return for being made available to the federal government when called to active duty by the President.
Under Title 32, the Oklahoma National Guard is a state-controlled and federally-funded entity and takes orders from the Governor and his designated chain of command. When mobilized by the President, under Title 10, the Oklahoma National Guard takes all orders from the President and his designated chain of command.
Failing to follow the Governor’s lawful orders while on Title 32 would be both illegal, unethical, and against our sworn oaths. Nothing in this order prevents anyone from taking the vaccine. Also, nothing in his order eliminates the Federal Requirement. The Governor is hoping for Federal Relief from Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and in the interim has granted state relief from this requirement.
Until a Guardsman is activated under Title 10, they follow the lawful commands of the Governor of the State of Oklahoma, who has not mandated the COVID-19 vaccine for Oklahoma Guard Members. Once activated to title 10 status, Guardsmen are subject to all Title 10 laws and mandates until returning to Title 32 status.
If you [Oklahoma Guard Members] are not mobilized on Title 10 orders, the only entity that can give you a “lawful” order – that is an order backed by the authority of law – is the Governor and his designated State chain of command. That “law” is Title 32 U.S. code. This is easily seen by the fact that the UCMJ does not apply to you in Title 32 status. Instead, you are governed by the Oklahoma Code of Military Justice (OCMJ).
Therefore, Brig. Gen. Mancino provided the policy clarifying the Governor’s order that Soldiers and Airmen in the Oklahoma National Guard are relieved from this requirement until mobilized in accordance with the Constitution, the Law, and sworn oath.
The Governor’s request is with Secretary Austin for decision, and the National Guard Bureau has indicated it will conduct a legal review of our position. The proper venue for the resolution of these issues is the Governor’s office, Congress, and the Federal Executive branch. Not the court of public opinion in the press or on social media.”
Military wrestles with penalties for those who refuse to get COVID vaccine
In part, the statement cites title 32 of U.S. code and says the national guard is a “…state-controlled and federally-funded entity and takes orders from the Governor and his designated chain of command.”
Continuing by saying it is “…illegal, unethical, and against our sworn oaths” for the Oklahoma National Guard to not follow the governor’s order.
“He still has that authority even when they’re in a title 32 status,” Kirby said. “It is a lawful order.”
A capitol reporter pressed Kirby after he wouldn’t elaborate on how, or even if the measure will be enforced in Oklahoma.
“Everyone is looking to this building and your boss for what he’s going to do about it and so far that appears to be nothing,” the reporter said.
“I dont think that’s a fair way to put it Megan,” Kirby said. “He just got this from governor of Oklahoma, I’m not going to speculate, hopefully it won’t come to that.”
Gov. Stitt selects new adjutant general, commander of Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard
Stitt’s order lists no repercussions for those who don’t get vaccinated.
Mancino also pointed to title 10 where the President mobilizes the national guard and therefore are under federal authority.
In the statement Mancino said, “until a Guardsman is activated under Title 10, they follow the lawful commands of the Governor of the State of Oklahoma.”
But the department of defense is still in disagreement.
“They are subject to that order,” Kirby said. “It’s important that they get the vaccine so that they can be a more ready force.”
