How do we even know there is an “asteroid” belt? Maybe it’s something else entirely...

If there was a water planet between Mars and Jupiter the water would have been frozen.
Not necessarily Jupiter has a volcanic frozen moon Io. Go look it up.
The gravity fight of the Sun and Jupiter could have keep TIAMAT's core hot and surface liquid.

Just read Heinlein's "Stranger In A Strange Land". You'll learn exactly how the asteroid belt was formed.
I read it in high school. One of the very few I read in H.S. Very good book.

I guess we need to send you in your own rocket to see for your self ?

Gravity?

Assuming gravity can be defined, and then proven it exists....theoretically how would a gravity tug between two objects on another object heat up its core and do so enough to sustain surface temperatures in the appropriate range for liquid H2O to exist?

The location of this planet would have been very far from the sun. Any heat source would’ve had to have been geothermal. But surface temps would’ve been very cold.

Well given the fact that modern technology doesn’t even allow us to send a human beyond Low Earth Orbit, I’m afraid sending me in a rocket ship to see the asteroid belt for myself is nothing more than a fantasy.

Why does the Earth's core stay hot ? It is not due to crustal insulation.
Something keeps us from floating off the planet. Whatever keep the Moon hanging around ? and all planets in the solar system flying around the massive ball of fission with all that gravel between Mars and Jupiter. A Fission ball so powerful scientist see season changes at Mars Poles.

Call it "Mark" IDC, But it is something and it effects everything in this solar system.

Those points you are making is why people who try to say there's no such thing as gravity, end up having to believe flat Earth BS too.

Why does dust stick to your TV set? It’s not gravity.

Why, when you rub a ballon your head, will your hair raise up with the balloon as you pull it away? That’s not gravity either.

We’ve been taught to believe a lot things that are based upon assumptions. We don’t know that the sun is a fission ball, nor do we know the temperature of the Earth’s core.

There’s a lot we don’t know, a lot we just assume and a lot that is flat out “made up” but we believe it because some deemed authority figure tells us it is so.

Dust settles EVERYWHERE. "Stick to your TV set ?" Maybe yours, IDK.
I know the THEORY of the Electric Universe. But you probably deny that theory too. So,
Obviously YOU do not know much "Bot". It is remarkable you survive, BUT maybe you don't LIVE at all "Bot".

Exactly. We have no clue that what we think we know is accurate because we simply don't know what we don't know! If you think about it, that makes perfect sense.

Are you calling me a “Bot”? What makes you think that?

What did I just tell you about making assumptions?

When you “assume” you make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’.

Going to give this a bump. It almost seems assured that something is out there now. Although it may be a planet 5 to 10x the size of the Earth or it could also be a small black hole.

https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20210216-the-massive-planet-scientists-cant-find
I just saw a video ( I'll try to find it) where a new theory is proposed : There are groups of asteroids, and dwarf planets out in the Kyper belt that by being clustered in certain areas cause a planet type gravitational pull on the outer planets and Pluto ( whatever, I still call it a planet). That the Kyper Belt is not homogeneous. Plus astronomers feel they have searched enough of the outer areas a body as significant to be classified as a planet would have been found by now.
But the search continues.

It is not a joke. John Moore has creds. His website: thelibertyman.net

Powerful telescopes are now somewhat inexpensive, distrubuted & used around the world by many professional & amateur astronomers & skywatchers... in fact, most new discoveries in the cosmos are attributed to amateur astronomers... If Planet X was arriving, it would quickly be discovered by the millions of astronomers around the world... the perturbations of the planets & asteroid belt would quickly alert most skywatchers that something huge was exerting its gravitational pull on planetary bodies... even an inbound dark star and accompanying dark system while dark would easily be discovered due to its gravitational influences on planets, etc...

I call B.S. on the spook John Moore... just more distraction & false disinfo being distributed.... JMO

You might be more comfortable to think of the Asteroid Belt as a duplication of the rings of Saturn... but this ring is around the Sun. No big mental leap.

Move to higher ground? I suspect tsunamis will be hitting the east coast when these asteroids finally arrive. Steven and his wife are currently traveling west to get far away from their former home in Florida. He has talked about joining up with John Moore in the Ozarks of Missouri.

By the way, Steven had 20 years in with the CIA and also has Pentagon connections.

It worked for Frodo Baggin's family in the movie Deep Impact, so I am convinced.

Apparently, "we" STILL don't even know what "gravity" IS.... or how many more "other things might be undiscovered or invisible" in Outer Space, undetectable with our current technology...
It seems that every 20 years or so a new paradigm "defines" the Universe... now the "Multiverse"...

Could a "parallel universe" exert any "pressures" at specific "nodes", thereby influencing interactions in our own universe? Just making my own effort to show how you can "create a hypothesis" out of thin air (or no air at all),- un-provable and un-debunkable.

So far, many (or all?) theories are entertaining (or mostly confusing for the regular Joe), but remain in the realm of "theory" and "hypothesis", not "proof".

And it really peeves me - in all contexts - when so- called "specialists" and "experts" tout Theory and Speculation AS PROOF.... (especially when "there's a buck - or reputation - to be made", or a "nefarious agenda")... as in the following (unrelated to this thread) "new presentation" by Bill Gates

It seems they've spotted a Large comet on a very eccentric plane. Not big enough to be Planet X but could be a large object affected by its gravity.

Please... bring the planet killer asteroid! I just got one of those fancy 65" 4K flat screens so the videos will be amazing! Don't worry, I'll save all the video for posterity!

Y'all will be very disappointed its projected orbital path keeps it outside Saturn . The best look will probably be like a comet with a tail. Astronomers are already noticing a comet like tail .

It's not everyday you spot a small planet making a run towards Saturn from the middle of nowhere.
Isn't Saturn the planet that all the soothsayers are at the root of the Satan worshipers stories all over the internet now? How convenient that this is happening now, isn't it?

Now that, ie Satan worshiping Astrologists, is something I know nothing about. But the timing would be interesting.

Those would have to be a shit load of really massive asteroids in order to Ben measured at 10x the mass of Earth. I don’t know about that....my guess is it’s something else.

It look like an astronomer went back over some old data and may have found a hit for this elusive planet.

The candidate discussed here would be likely to have mass 3-5 ME (three to five times the mass of Earth)

This very approximate orbit fit gives d = 225 ± 15AU, θ = 205 ± 80o , and centre of the parallactic ellipse at (λ0, β0)(2000.0) = (13.62, 71.62) ±1 o , and is illustrated in Figure 7L

RECOVERY OF PLANET 9 CANDIDATE 1983-PRESENT A planet of mass 3-5 ME, radius 1.5-5 RE, at a distance of 210-240 AU, should in principle be relatively easy to recover from survey data in the intervening period. The major difficulty is the closeness of the candidate planet to the Galactic Plane, making the detection of even a relatively bright moving object difficult against the very high surface density of stars.
