Gravity?
Assuming gravity can be defined, and then proven it exists....theoretically how would a gravity tug between two objects on another object heat up its core and do so enough to sustain surface temperatures in the appropriate range for liquid H2O to exist?
The location of this planet would have been very far from the sun. Any heat source would’ve had to have been geothermal. But surface temps would’ve been very cold.

Why does the Earth's core stay hot ? It is not due to crustal insulation.
Something keeps us from floating off the planet. Whatever keep the Moon hanging around ? and all planets in the solar system flying around the massive ball of fission with all that gravel between Mars and Jupiter. A Fission ball so powerful scientist see season changes at Mars Poles.
Call it "Mark" IDC, But it is something and it effects everything in this solar system.

Why, when you rub a ballon your head, will your hair raise up with the balloon as you pull it away? That’s not gravity either.
We’ve been taught to believe a lot things that are based upon assumptions. We don’t know that the sun is a fission ball, nor do we know the temperature of the Earth’s core.
There’s a lot we don’t know, a lot we just assume and a lot that is flat out “made up” but we believe it because some deemed authority figure tells us it is so.

Going to give this a bump. It almost seems assured that something is out there now. Although it may be a planet 5 to 10x the size of the Earth or it could also be a small black hole.

I just saw a video ( I'll try to find it) where a new theory is proposed : There are groups of asteroids, and dwarf planets out in the Kyper belt that by being clustered in certain areas cause a planet type gravitational pull on the outer planets and Pluto ( whatever, I still call it a planet). That the Kyper Belt is not homogeneous. Plus astronomers feel they have searched enough of the outer areas a body as significant to be classified as a planet would have been found by now.

Powerful telescopes are now somewhat inexpensive, distrubuted & used around the world by many professional & amateur astronomers & skywatchers... in fact, most new discoveries in the cosmos are attributed to amateur astronomers... If Planet X was arriving, it would quickly be discovered by the millions of astronomers around the world... the perturbations of the planets & asteroid belt would quickly alert most skywatchers that something huge was exerting its gravitational pull on planetary bodies... even an inbound dark star and accompanying dark system while dark would easily be discovered due to its gravitational influences on planets, etc...

Apparently, "we" STILL don't even know what "gravity" IS.... or how many more "other things might be undiscovered or invisible" in Outer Space, undetectable with our current technology...
It seems that every 20 years or so a new paradigm "defines" the Universe... now the "Multiverse"...
Could a "parallel universe" exert any "pressures" at specific "nodes", thereby influencing interactions in our own universe? Just making my own effort to show how you can "create a hypothesis" out of thin air (or no air at all),- un-provable and un-debunkable.
So far, many (or all?) theories are entertaining (or mostly confusing for the regular Joe), but remain in the realm of "theory" and "hypothesis", not "proof".
And it really peeves me - in all contexts - when so- called "specialists" and "experts" tout Theory and Speculation AS PROOF.... (especially when "there's a buck - or reputation - to be made", or a "nefarious agenda")... as in the following (unrelated to this thread) "new presentation" by Bill Gates
