Stop being a meme nazi BF! Some of these memes might prove to be less than accurate but we should all assume to DYODD on everything posted here in these current uncertain times fraught with misinformation and misdirection.

If the memes are coming to fast for anyone to fully absorb and validate, taking a break from reading them might be a good option

Unh... yeah, I would agree with you on that but the machine gun rate at which some members post tripe in here makes it a tough read to see what is happening.

But posting like that sure does inflate the post count (if that is what is so important to the poster) at a prodigious rate.

Is there some sort of award for the most post counts? After looking at my numbers it appears I may be eligible for some type of GIM participation award myself!

I personally doubt very much that anyone here is trying to up their 'post count' since there's no real advantage to it, at least none I'm aware of. I happen to have a high post count because I have the advantage of sitting at my desk all day for work, have both my work and personal machine available and am able to post a lot. That's what people are asked to do in a discussion forum, to post stuff, isn't it? Since when is a higher than average participation rate considered a bad thing?

I agree. For the most part I believe the members do a good job of policing things on their own. I've been brought down a few pegs myself by other members here from time to time
