I see that the doom-boom days of metal will come sooner. Please careful :).
Welcome to GIM bsphong, so to clarify you're calling a 'top' here for the metals ?

Hi Dragon. I'm not sure, but I feel that there will large changes on next days. Janpanese goverment and other are only using their money to support business companies, not for metal investment.
The gold investors have got so many profits from three last months.
I think that 1345USD is maximum for this month.
Good lucks:)

Thats what it's all about right now. And it has much more room on the downside.
Agreed..........wasn't the recent last 'low' around 74 that happened back in 2008 ?

FWIW : Given the recent rise in Gold, it seems logical that the 'big money' sees a cliff on the horizon. We have 3Q reports coming out later this week and Gold is strong as hell which to me doesn't bode well for whatever doctored, skewed #'s that Fallstreet cooks up.

Thick black depression clouds are forming and Gold is putting the writing on the wall. This October might be a doozie of a downturn if Gold is any measure of what lies ahead.

looks like we have hit the big boyz kine n the sand today for the PMs. we all know they do not like numbers thatend in '0' for Au and I see them fighting $23 for Ag. I think we have seen all the fireworks we are going to today. I hope th market proves me wrong. Also, be mentally prepared for those new to this, with these kind of up dayz we can easily see this much down in a day, not sure when but it has and can happen again, just get steel your emotions in caswe it happens. Heck, steel your emotions no matter which way it goes.

From memory, during the last 5-years we've gone from the extreme of 70:1 to as low as 45:1 (or close to it) the last time Silver hit the $21 mark to close the gap.

On average, 60:1 seems to be the norm.

Based on past performance, that's a logical conclusion. However, technicals for today say we're not done yet.
Trend is still UP,
Remember that the market can stay irrational longer than one can stay liquid.

For what it's worth, I just rolled out of bed, checked the ticker, and my initial reaction was "Holy ****ing shit!." I think we're starting to find our way out of manipulationville.
