I love roses. Cannot grow them in South Floriduh. Roses must be frozen each year to bloom.

O cruelty!! I weep snot...

Forty fukkin years of tryin', and my VERY BEST EVER PLANT was put in the Bud Of the Month. It was 8" tall, with six(?) total leaves -- all yellow -- on a stem no thicker than a pencil lead. Drooping.

And then, it was eaten. And the root dug up and eaten.

From today's hike. Notice how most pics have some strands of cottonwood visible. It is everywhere right now.

Pearl crescent butterfly. One with wings folded up.

Anyone else hanging upside down on an inversion table?
Got two minutes left.
Maybe my back will decompress after the day I've had.
Up since five thirty working outside trying to find more room for my crap.
Lol.
I say crap, it's getting more organized.
More like a VW wrecking yard.
Interesting enough sweat is still gravity directed

Share your recipe.

I make lime-ade quite alot.......

juice of 3 limes (I add the pulp from the juicer as well)
1/3 c white sugar
2 qts water

My recipe is not very sweet, I dont want to go overboard on sugar myself. The original recipe calls for 2/3 c sugar, too sweet for me (im already sweet enough).

6 lemons
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
5 cups water

Peel the zest off the lemons using a peeler, mix the peels with the sugar, let sit for 2+ hours, sugar will turn into a syrup with the oil from the peels
Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add peels/sugar mix to the water
Let the sugar dissolve in the water (about 5 minutes)
Strain the mixture into a bowl
Let it cool to room temperature
Juice the lemons into the mixture
Put in a container and fridge overnight

This process allows you to extract oils from the peel which gives it a very full flavor. I am not much of a sweet fan myself but I don't find this recipe too sweet at all.

Edited to add, by peeling the lemons I mean using a peeler to mostly get the zest off the lemons.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the space aliens shrunk themselves down and dressed as bees so they could come for my chives.

Now is a good time of year to look around on milkweed plants for tree frogs. They really like sitting on them. Managed to find this one today.

I have respect. I visited an alternator and generator rebuild shop close to Napa, CA (before it turned into a shithole). They did good work and I was happy with their results.

Got the wife new tie-dye materials for her bday recently. Had a test/practice run this past weekend. I liked how my shorts turned out.
Judging by the huge stack of new washed whites I found; I can only assume she hasn't informed me of her plan to go to some concert lots this summer and tailgate while attempting to sell/trade them. You can take the phish kid out of the touring scene, but you cant keep her out of the lots.

I have and use one daily. Only takes about 1 min to straighten out.

45° angle for me.
