According to the toxicology report, Floyd died from a concentration of Fentanyl in his blood three times the fatal dose. Fentanyl is a dangerous opioid 50 times more potent than heroin. If Floyd had been taking Fentanyl for some time (I'm pretty sure this is the case) it takes more drug to 'get off' each time. If you ever took cocaine it's the same thing. The first hit is a rush and subsequent doses never get you the initial rush, but folks keep toking - in hopes of getting that first 'blast' again.
