I don't know, I do know the original house bill was full of pork & baby killing.
When I wrote that I was momentarily annoyed at the pettiness of chuck and nancy, then it occurred to me they are acting normal because they don't know anything.
Hell, why would anybody tell those clowns and 90% of the republicans anything important. They are fools, idiots. Even their owners have no respect for them.

Whats this corona virus is is the opening salvo of world war 3. We can see the war now, before this it had been going on in the background. The forces of evil have shown their hand and like usual they will kill millions of people to get their way. It always comes to this when they are losing control.
For all we know there may have been dozens of attempts to let loose a killer virus that were all stopped by the good guys before this.
If I'm right the next few months ought to be damn interesting. Reminded me of this quote........

- “If you think they're going to give you your country back without a fight, you're sadly mistaken.

I guess their moral is so low because their approval rating is so low that they decided they needed 40 k for themselves in raises and expenses.
irs 1/4 billion? Prepare to get bent over
The others seem like a mechanism to fund their re election campaigns.

Look for a ton of add ons in the House.
Yep! I'll be curious to see how Trump responds. The Dims playbook never varies. They'll add tons of pork then blame Trump for causing the American people great pain and suffering by pushing back and not signing it.

So true. An article I read this morning claimed senators from red states slowed the passage.

I'm going to start calling this the False Flag Virus. I saw deep stater, Lindsey Grahm appear on Faux, demanding to pass it within 48 hours, and saying Trump should follow Fauci's orders. There's no telling what sort of secret provisions have been loaded into this thing.

IT doesn't matter any more. 20 trillion, 30 trillion...a hundred trillion! What's the difference? It can never be paid back anyway so we might as well spend it while it's still accepted by anyone as having any value

It's nice to see they gave themselves a 40k a year raise in salary and expenses while they gave some of the workers 1200 one time payment.

unanimous consent to our slavery

at this point, the pork from both sides would be disappointing to say the least,

Typical political bullshit. Bread and circuses.
Throw out a few crumbs to the masses and take the bulk for their own special interests, knowing lots of that money will go through the wash cycle and end up right in their own pockets. The Politburo in DC continues to practice its socialism

From The Federalist article linked by Cigarlover:

2. Unrelated Spending Larded Into the Bill

Corporation for Public Broadcasting: $75 million
National Endowment for the Arts: $75 million
National Endowment for the Humanities: $75 million
Institute of Museum and Library Services: $50 million
The Kennedy Center: $25 million
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA): $20 million
Legal Services Corporation: $50 million
Internal Revenue Service: $250 million
House of Representatives salaries and expenses: $25 million

5. No Funds for Topping Up Petroleum Reserve

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stripped out the funding for Strategic Petroleum Reserve purchases. Hard to see why we wouldn’t want to top it up at 20 bucks a gallon. Probably just to spite the president.

Of course other stupidity is in the bill along with with all the slicing and dicing of how to divvy up the rest of the ~2Trillion fed debt notes.

what a stupid stupid move that is IMO,
why not at these prices?

well we know why, with their disdain for oil and their pushing of the never ending carbon agenda bs

As each drives and flys around the world burning enough fossil fuels to power a third world country. Hypocrisy central.

Spite move against Trump. Pretty much expected. Trump can find the money somewhere else

Besides, what does topping off the SOR have to do with beer virus relief. Are we being hypocrites here?

I just made a curious discovery. There were 4 Senators who didn't vote, 2 of them are notorious for voting no. And guess what? All of the 4 them couldn't vote because they had been "self-quarantined" for the virus.

not one person with a spine,
Like they say, it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks.

It has to do with national preparations for unexpected hard times. A lesson many are learning on a personal level as we speak.

what a great question shoot,

you are right, it doesn't, but truthfully, how much of that bill really has to do with beer flu relief vs the desire to just inject dough into the system

and as JK states, prudence demands that we all take advantage of opportunity as it presents itself. Oil at 20 odd bucks is opportunity for sure. Remember the chins were stuffing their reserve with $50 oil? Too funny.
