Smollett Hoax: New Video Emerges
By
Tiffany Layne
-
July 2, 2019

Jessie Smollett isn’t as smart as he thought he was. Smollett botched this hoax from beginning to end.
Smollett never considered police would sniff out the holes in his story. Thus, he never prepared for the evidence gathering that took place.
Even now, Smollett wishes he could lock this information away in his closet of dirty little secrets. Instead, we now see video evidence of those “MAGA hat-wearing white dudes” just before Smollett’s attack.
Fox News elaborates:
New video obtained by Fox News appears to show Jussie Smollett and the two Osundairo brothers – whom police insist the actor paid to pretend to beat him – walking around the vicinity of the alleged attack perhaps just minutes before it happened, according to police notes.
The video was obtained from the Chicago Police Department via a Freedom of Information Act request (FOIA).
According to police notes, the surveillance video is likely from between 1:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. on January 29. And appears to show Smollett in the same white, patterned sweater he was later captured wearing by Chicago Police body cameras, when officers entered his apartment to respond to the 911 call about his alleged hate crime.
A portion of the newly released surveillance video shows Smollett walking away from his luxurious Chicago high-rise apartment building. He walks in a calm manner toward the direction of the Subway sandwich shop, where he told police he went. Later, he returned to encounter his alleged attackers. The video also appears to show Smollett releasing a puff or two of smoke, which was noted by investigators in handwritten police documents obtained by Fox News.
The surveillance video also shows Abel and Ola Osundairo walking around the same area near the time of the reported attack. Chicago police and the brothers’ attorney, Gloria Schmidt, told Fox News the two men in hooded sweatshirts seen on the video are the Osundairo brothers.

So much for White Guys
Kevin Jackson was among the first to declare Smollett’s attack a hoax. It was too fishy from the get-go. Just how many white, MAGA hat-wearing rednecks are big fans of Empire to begin with?

As Jackson penned:
And of all the light-skinned n*ggas in Chicago, does anybody believe that two white MAGA-referencing Trump supporters would be able to spot the “faggot ‘Empire’ n*****”?
If you want to suspend belief for a moment, you would need to admit to knowing the light-skinned brother from the show. And then you need to know he plays a “faggot”; his word, not mine.
If these white guys attacked every black dude playing a gay role, they would have a full time LGBTQ ass-kicking job. Because in dang near any big city, 80 percent of black guys are gay these days.

But as we clearly see, there’s nothing white about these attackers.

Just watch as new footage blows Smollett’s story out of the water.

At one point in the video, we see one of the brothers wearing a red-brimmed hat. Police notes indicate that surveillance video from a hardware store appears to show the brothers purchasing the red-brimmed hat, along with thin white rope and other supplies they claim Smollett instructed them to buy for the alleged hoax.
“Two subjects now known to be [redacted] and [redacted] enter the store and purchase several items, which included gloves, face masks and a red hat,” Chicago police notes read.
The red-brimmed hat was also documented in a detective’s notes of surveillance video, “they linger together, walk SB out of view [one wearing a red brim cap].”
Schmidt believes the new video shows the brothers arriving early before the incident that police say was a staged attack. In the video, the brothers are seen sitting near a bench, which is where Schmidt said the brothers were instructed to base themselves.

Immediately following this ‘attack,’ people accused Jackson and other nay-sayers of being insensitive. Leftists contend Smollett’s victimization in this ‘racially charged hate-crime’ didn’t garner the expected level of sympathy. But even though most Americans see through Smollett, just enough believed this hoax to make it dangerous. Even Empire creator Lee Daniels took to Instagram to defend Smollett, saying “It’s just another f*cking day in America.”
However, we know how it all panned out. Smollett lost his job. Fox cancelled Empire. And the entire franchise crashed and burned after State Attorney Kim Foxx tried to sweep the investigation under the rug. Eventually, democrats will learn. This is the age of the smart phone. Cameras are every where you go. And when things don’t add up, people do the math.

The penalty should fit the crime.

Is that so incomprehensible when applied to true justice?

judge to rule on tossing suit against Smollett in October

FILE - In this March 14, 2019 file photo, "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett, stands before Cook County Circuit Court Judge Steven Watkins where he pled not guilty at the Leighton Criminal Court Building, in Chicago. A hearing is set for the city of Chicago to recover costs from Smollett after police said his claims of a racist and anti-gay attack were phony and staged. The status hearing Tuesday, Aug. 20, is the first since the lawsuit was moved to federal court from state court in July. CHICAGO TRIBUNE VIA AP, POOLE. JASON WAMBSGANS
CHICAGO
A federal judge hearing the city of Chicago's lawsuit against Jussie Smollett says she'll rule on the actor's request to toss the suit in October.

The 10-minute status hearing Tuesday was the first since the civil case was moved to federal court from state court. The former "Empire" actor didn't attend the hearing in Chicago.

The city accuses Smollett of staging a racist and anti-gay attack against himself in January. It sued to force Smollett to pay $130,000 in police overtime and other expenses after state prosecutors dropped charges accusing him of filing a false report.

The defense motion to dismiss earlier this month calls the bid to recoup costs a "perverse tactic" since charges were dismissed. They maintain the attack was real.

The next status hearing is Oct. 22.

I just asked around. Nobody here cares one way or the other! Not worth the energy wasted thinking about it.

You didn't ask me. I want to see the little race baiting prick charged with a hate crime and have his nuts cut off. Well, he probably already cut his own nuts. But some kind of pain anyway.

Don't forget that is what they used top push through;

New Jersey's Democratic Sen. Cory Booker has pointed to the racist and homophobic attack on actor Jussie Smollet to show the necessity for Congress to finally pass an anti-lynching law, which cleared a key hurdle Thursday as it winds its way through the legislative process.

Ironically Republicans tried to pass a anti-lynching bill in 1918. It was called the Dyer Anti Lynching Bill and was quashed by Democrats. In 1934 this time a couple of Democrats tried again to pass an anti lynching bill with the Costigan-Wagner act that was again blocked by Democrats.

Sounds like Cory (Sparticus) Booker needs to be asking his own party some serious questions.

Like the spray paint, they're going to start locking it up in cages at the local HD store through a State Law

it'll be to protect the children and will cost an extra $10 a month in taxes, paid directly to HD to enter the store...HD in turn has to hire another employee just to track that 'entry fee' and ensure the State gets it's cut, 99.999% and not one cent less

i can see it now

and
I can still see it now

We now have Smollett inspired copy cat crimes

Ex-NFL Player Arrested For 'Jussie Smollett-Style' Hate Crime Hoax
A former NFL player has been accused of faking a hate crime in an effort to profit from an insurance payout, but his stupidity in failing to cover his tracks has won him comparisons to Jussie Smollett, the 'Empire' actor who infamously fabricated a hate crime in which he was allegedly attacked by two white men in MAGA hats.
This time around, Edawn Coughman, who played in both the NFL and Canadian football leagues, was arrested and charged earlier this week with insurance fraud and filing a phony police report.
The incident began when somebody called the police about a suspected burglary at his ice-cream parlor, Coughman’s Creamery, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The caller gave police a description of a truck purportedly belonging to the suspect. Police soon found it driving down the road, but as it turned out, the truck belonged to Coughman, and he was behind the wheel, according to the Western Journal.

Edawn Coughman
Coughman told police that he was the owner of the creamery, and that he had filed an insurance claim after vandals supposedly attacked his business, but he had only just gotten around to calling the police. Officers investigating the restaurant found "MAGA" a backward swastika and slurs spray-painted on the walls.
The paint was found to still be wet. The back door had been pried open, and officers noted yellow tool marks.
But police soon found televisions with drywall still attached in the bed of Coughman's truck (they were among the items purportedly stolen from his business).
This was enough for them to obtain a search warrant. After serving it, they discovered spray-paint cans in Coughman’s car, along with a crowbar with a paint job that matched the marks on the Creamery's back door.
That's a veritable mountain of evidence.
Coughman's motive is clear: He was apparently trying to scam his way into an insurance windfall after his ice cream business started to fail. Reviews online show customers were clearly unimpressed with his product.
Here's one example:
"Coughman’s Creamery is not a good ice cream shop," one review says. "Their ice cream is clearly bought from somewhere else and is nothing special. They don’t actually have most of the treats they post on Instagram. When we were there, all they had was a stale 'cookie bowl.' Since we had made the trek, we tried it and it was terrible."

Lawsuit against Jussie Smollett for police costs of hate crime hoax gets green light from federal judge
By Thomas Lifson
Americans are about to be treated to a highly entertaining and important unraveling of a hate crime hoax in court, as Chicago gets a green light from a federal judge to proceed with a lawsuit attempting to recover police costs expended on Jussie Smollett’s fake hate crime report. Jason Meisner of the Chicago Tribune:
A federal judge gave the go-ahead Tuesday to the city of Chicago’s lawsuit against Jussie Smollett that seeks reimbursement from the former “Empire” actor for police overtime in the investigation of his alleged hoax attack in January.
In denying Smollett’s motion to dismiss, U.S. District Judge Virginia Kendall said that “it isn’t unreasonable to think” Chicago police would have vigorously investigated Smollett’s bombshell report that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack, particularly given his celebrity and the “volatile climate” of the times.
Hate crime hoaxes are a cancer on American society, ginning up racial hatred where none existed, and wasting police and other official resources. They obscure the tremendous progress American society has made and take a huge toll on both the purported victims and the purported offenders., The fakehatecrimes.org website currently lists 374 examples of the genre of hoax that troubles America. The perpetrators of the hoaxes all too often escape real punishment, even when they are discovered.
But now, America has a celebrity hate crime hoax, one involving someone too prominent to ignore, and whose political connections extend to the Obamas’ inner circle of advisors. Jussie Smollett libeled President Trump an and his supporters by arranging a drama for the security cameras that seemed to show Trump hat-wearing supporters attacking him on a subzero Chicago street in the wee hours of the morning in a scenario so ridiculous that cops immediately suspected a hoax. But, in order to appease the racial demagogues that would immediately pounce on any perceived underplaying of the incident, Chicago police let slide many murder cases in order to devote detectives to the fake case.
Illinois allows the televising of trials only if the state supreme court allows them. Given the high profile and strong public interest, I hope the justices see their way to permit it in this case. But I am not optimistic, since the case generally is embarrassing for Democrats.

Anyone here who did what he did would be in jail right now. Faith in the system is not something I have a great deal of right now!

And the case continues on...
Jussie Smollett case might soon blow up on Kim Foxx again
A private dinner in Hollywood could illuminate dubious alliances for Chicago figures.

The Smollett saga . . .
Hmmmm.
Check out this dinner dish with a dash of Smollett sauce.
Pull up a dining chair.
Former Obama White House BFF Valerie Jarrett and communications and political consultant Hilary Rosen are hosting a private D.C. dinner Monday to honor their close friend Tina Tchen as the new president and CEO of Hollywood’s Time’s UP, an advocacy organization fighting gender discrimination and sexual harassment in the entertainment industry.
So?
  • Um, dinner host Tchen, former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama and whose top adviser was Jarrett, is the one who weighed in via phone to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx acting on behalf of the “concerned” family of “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.
  • Backshot: Smollett’s incendiary story of racial assault took a dramatic turn when the cops began eyeballing him as the probable puppet master of his own publicity stunt.
  • Buckshot: Foxx then reached out to Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson to inform him of the Smollett family’s concerns and eventually recused herself from the case because of the contact she had via the Smollett family. The case was then turned over to the Feds.
So?
Um, dinner host Rosen was a top press/publicity adviser during the height of the Smollett scandal.
“I have not worked with Jussie since last spring,” Rosen told Sneed on Friday.
“It was short term and there was nothing more for me to do,” she added. “Tina is not involved and has not been involved since beyond that one phone call (to Foxx about Smollett.)
“We are just a bunch of Washington women who know Tina from when she was at the White House; who are involved in women’s equality and sexual harassment issues; and getting together at the private dinner to honor her.
“This is not a fundraiser.”
So?
Is there a whiff of something out of whack here? Former Smollett press adviser Rosen co-hosting a dinner for Tchen, whose involvement in the Smollett case raised heavy eyebrows?
“All roads do not lead to Chicago, Jussie Smollett has nothing to do with friends getting together or with Smollett conspiracy theories,” said Rosen. “It is silly to make that connection.”
Former White House insiders tell Sneed Tchen and Jarrett are not only this/close and chummy on the Tinseltown scene, but they got to know Foxx as a frequent visitor at Hollywood fundraising events.
A phone call to Foxx’s office netted this response: “The state’s attorney will be in Chicago Monday night discussing marijuana legalization at the 47th Ward Democratic Organization. Not sure if she was invited anywhere else.”
Smollett’s Chicago case, which still sparks of outrage in Chicago, is now in the hands of special prosecutor/mega legal eagle Dan K. Webb.
Will Webb discover a few former White House spoons were used to simmer down the boiling Smollett stew?
Stay tuned.

I won't be happy until Smollet is doing hard time.
He single handedly was attempting to start a civil war.
3 to 5 with no time off for good behavior.

FYI, Fed Time is much easier to do than state time. Most states have a totally different mindset in running prisons than Feds. FED Execs. cow-tow to inmate demands far more often than state run joints do.

Kow-tow <-- "kow" means "knock" in Mandarin, "tow" = "head"

"Knocking head" [on the floor] was required protocol.

Yes, The Fed inmates Knock the heads of the Fed execs. Making it a Two on One working situation. Execs and Inmates vs line staff.
The ONLY times that the Execs side with line staff is when the joint gets over taken by the inmates otherwise known as a "riot".
Then it is " DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO REGAIN CONTROL".
Once the line staff and outside L.E. forces retake the facility the Execs go right back to suckin' inmate dick.
Things may have changed in the 15 years I've been gone but I seriously doubt that S.O.P. has .

Makes me wonder how many "white nationalists", "Nazis", and "hate crimes against people of color" are actually setups to foster the "Trump is a white nationalist" agenda put forth by the left and the media (but I repeat myself)...

the trickery and fakness coming from all directions makes me believe we ain't ever coming back...but, for the most part, that bs doesn't affect the sheep so much, but, they have good 'teachers' to follow and a propagandized education system and the damage continues to be taught every day...

i just don't see it happening...The Truth, from our leaders...not happening in my humble opinion unless the liars are prosecuted...and so far, not even Smollette has been dealt with, and that's been a doggle for what, a year or more?

Agreed. It takes humility to admit being wrong, and most people today dont have any. Narcissism is rampant in the U.S. and world today...and that's hard to come back from.

You are correct.

I see humility as a strength...unfortunately - we dont see much of it nowadays...

Truth is...we should all be very humble - because if anyone knew all our deep dark secrets - they would see how many flawed facets we all have....

Humility is a refection of clarity and honesty and integrity...the only rightful response to a healthy "self-check"...for any of us...

Agreed...and now we see the SJW crowd who digs into someone's past and if they find ANYTHING that is questionable, they push to destroy that person. No forgiveness, no benefit of the doubt. That's not a world that I want to live in.
