Is there something special about these SAE's?

$50 each? Should include shipping at that price...! JMO

how can we tell if they're real or not?

they don't have either the backing or support of the US Government...and they don't have that missing edge reed like the new ones do...

ppfffttt

and besides, those things are just for hobbyists and conspiracy theorists, you can keep 'em at any price

Some folks are bullion stackers and others are coin collectors. I'm sure there are plenty of coin collectors that would consider buying these. I'm more of a bullion guy myself but have fallen into a few collector grade coins at an attractive price in my travels also.

YMMV

They’re real because I‘m the one who originally purchased them from Apmex.
1996 was the smallest mintage of the series to date.
You can check the bay or other coin sellers if you think that the price I am asking is out of line.’

I highly doubt Buck was insinuating that your coins are fake...that's just Buck being Buck! :oriental:

Rag, that is a fair price. I'm just already all-in. Good luck.

Whoa! You weren't kidding there, rag, that is some chocolate (little pricey at $50.00 a kilo).
I made a drink with it; melted about half an ounce and mixed and ounce or two of kalua into it.
Great chocolate.

Glad to hear it!
The price isn’t that bad at all when you consider the price for the same amount of common brand chicolate.

how would i do that with a hershey bar and a can of hamms?

:don't know:
From the land of sky blue waters (waaters)
From the land of pines, lofty balsams, comes the beer refreshing.
Hamms

:don't know:
Just take a bite of the hershey's bar and then a swig of the Hamms. Mix it all up in your mouth and then chug a lug.
It'll be exactly the same.
