If we can truly measure the earth's rotation to the faction of a nanosecond then why are we wasting our time and energy on trivia, Lets propel at the speed of light.
I have no doubt they have instruments that theoretically do all this and just don't believe it would be that accurate.
Knew a old timer when we were younger and one day we visited him and made a offhand comment about 'time flying'.
