Not sure how many people left who care about the NFL. I'll bet people will find other things to do on Sundays than watch 2 hours and 45 minutes of truck commercials and 11 minutes of moving the ball up and down the field. Sorry guys(NFL), you're simply not as critical to the average American than you thought.
Transgender cheerleaders are people too. Right?
Where are the big boned women cheerleaders?
Where are the LBGTQ's on the Dallas Cheerleading Squad show?
Roger Goddell likes kneeling. Let him kneel to this.
It's about time we start putting these feminazis in their place! You may not like Trump but you have to admit, he's an entertaining guy and he cares not who he offends or pisses off. I like that in a POTUS! I don't know, after 8 years of constantly being pissed off by King Negro and his communist minions Trump has been a refreshing change
We at least took a step in the right direction last election.
Do you not agree that we dodged a huge bullet in whatsherface not being elected? Not having Trump as POTUS means we would have her as POTUS. You don't honestly think we'd be better off with her, do you? We'd have Al Gore on the Supreme Court right now, and two more Justices replaced who had been planning on retiring had she gotten elected.
Had that woman won, we'd have been well and truly f'ed for at least another whole generation. Perhaps forever.
As it stands now, we have a good chance of setting the Court up for most rulings to be on the Conservative side for years, if not decades, to come. That way if another Obozo-type gets elected who wants to fundamentally change America, they won't be able to. At least not nearly as easily had the Court been packed with liberals.
Let us set the record straight from the beginning: This is not an article about politics, race or political correctness. This is an article about victims.
Victims, you ask; who are the victims? I am glad that you asked. The victims are the many loyal and casual sports fans who purchase tickets to events, contests, games at very high prices and then are exposed to issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the event at hand.
Let us get another thing straight: This has nothing to do with eliminating free speech, as I absolutely believe in the right of every person to speak their mind when the time and place is appropriate.
Our society is now witnessing the demise of professional football, and perhaps other sports, as league management and team ownership fail to live up to their respective positions and demand that the product on the field conform to the reason why the spectators purchase the tickets.
Note that I am not saying that a player is not entitled to his or her opinions. What i am saying is that there is a time and a place and certainly, the grass field, ice or hardwood court is not the proper place to do so. Their opinions should be focused on how to win and entertain their audience.
If the players feel so strongly about an issue, then they have the same access (probably more) than the average person to the news media, social media, etc., where they can speak about their feelings. In fact, many of them are wealthy enough to rent a hall or stadium, hire a band, invite the public to attend, play the national anthem 100 times and bend their knees until they feel that they have made their point.
This belief that saying whatever a person has on their mind or demonstrating whenever or wherever they choose makes the general public victims to their opinions. For example, the actor(s) who chose to lecture the vice president when he attended a Broadway show. How about the people in the audience who paid more than $250 per ticket to see the performance? How about the victims in the audience who may not have agreed with the actor(s)?
Perhaps the Supreme Court has to take another look at the whole issue of free speech, not to stifle it, but to ensure that all citizens' rights are truly protected.
So staying with the current trend, let's look at the football game of the future. As the national anthem is played, several players “bend the knee;” other players stay in the locker room; several women who believe that females should be allowed to play in the NFL march on the field; a few cameramen shut down their lenses because they protest having to video the chaos and on … and on … and on ...
It is definitely time to re-establish sanity in the land.
