Pretty obsolete. I looked at their circulation. Between 2016 and 2020 it was cut in half. It's hard to believe they are dumb enough to stick with the woke path.
For their ratio, about 1in 200 people still get the worthless "sports" magazine but even that is smoke and mirrors. Do you recieve magazines in the mail you never subscribed to? The reason for that is to increase their circulation and raise their ad rates. Even though it's being distributed to unknown tens of thousands who will more than likely toss it in the garbage it was 'circulated'. My mother-in-law gets mailed SI.
She brought some over once thinking I would want them. It was all pukeworthy social warrior garbage. There was little sports to it.

I had a subscription too, way back when I was in junior high school. Sports ruled the day. I knew all the key players in all the sports and their stats.

I was at an auto repair shop yesterday and in the waiting room they had a bunch of old magazines. I glanced at a Sports Illustrated. There was some tennis player I had never heard of on the cover. I didn't even pick it up. (Nothing against tennis.)

Woke advertisers are paying for it.

I always laugh when women talk about "equal pay for equal performance" especially in sport. They think for instance that WNBA and NBA should make the same salary. Here's the factsl: A pro woman runner is about as fast as a high school boy runner. So ok she should make the same $ as the high school boy does. Same with swimming or any other sport we can judge based on time. It's harder to judge team sports but I think it's fair to say that a pro female basketball player would be whooped even playing against a high school boy. Same with soccer or anything else.
