There are big things happening now and coming soon with the year long Inspector General investigation ending and their evidence being slowly put out into the public.
There are some high level swamp creatures that are not well right now and many more that are nervous as feck.

I like how Sundance keeps explaining why this information has to be put out into the public in stages.
I totally agree with him/her. This information is explosive and it's not some alex jones flip out clickbait.

Please add to this thread as you fine folks dig stuff up.

:2 thumbs up:

An Investigative Pattern Emerges…
Posted on December 14, 2017 by sundance

During a recent rally in Pensacola President Trump remarked off-the-cuff: “we have a rigged system, we really do, we have a rigged system and we’re working hard to change it“. Against the backdrop of recent revelations with the stunning politicization of the FBI and DOJ, those words ring notes of truth, and also caution.

Over the past two weeks we have seen releases from the DOJ Office of Inspector General that appear to be building toward a much more consequential outcome. The corruption is jaw-dropping. The very heart of the U.S. system of Law (DOJ) and Order (FBI) is now being questioned. I would argue the IG obviously understands the need for caution within these discoveries and the recent releases are all purposeful, timed, planned and targeted.

Consider what is at stake; and further consider that you were given the task of revealing the outcome of an investigation of such consequence. How would you introduce the findings to the larger U.S. electorate? Given the timing of the releases from the IG’s investigation, I think that’s what we are seeing in the past two weeks. A prosecutor laying out his case over the course of multiple media cycles.

For the past year plus, we have heard generalized terms of investigations. However, since the beginning of December the information shifted and we begin hearing about specific names caught within the IG investigation.

Focusing only on the names from within the IG concern we find: FBI Agent Peter Strzok; FBI/DOJ Attorney Lisa Page; DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr; his wife, Fusion GPS contractor Nellie Ohr; FBI Counterintelligence Director Bill Priestap; and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Each of these people appear to have been captured within the net at the heart of the politicization investigation.

Now, there’s bound to be more details; however, those names are all likely to face some form of congressional scrutiny, questioning, and possibly criminal charges. Charges that will likely be based, in part, on the outlined information within the IG releases.

Oh, sure there are many other names, including current possible partisan usurpers within the Robert Muller probe: DOJ/SC Andrew Weissman, DOJ/SC Jeannie Rhee, DOJ/SC Aaron Zebley etc. that are also concerning. However, for this discussion we focus on the IG targets identified. Discussion of Mueller is for another day.

Remember, the OIG investigation is specifically looking at actions taken, or actions not taken, by DOJ and FBI officials that reflect specific evidence of politicization by the leadership within each agency (James Comey, FBI and Loretta Lynch, DOJ), and/or their subordinates writ large.

(LINK)

These offices represent the “Law and Order” divisions of our national government.

There is a pattern in the released OIG information and how we retrieve it from the media.

♦Ahead of FBI Director Christopher Wray appearing before congress the IG released the information about FBI Agent Strzok and his mistress FBI/DOJ Attorney Lisa Page.

♦Just before Asst. FBI Director Andrew McCabe was going to appear before congress the IG released information about DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr.

Andrew McCabe ducked out of the hearing, and will now appear next week. Boy-oh-boy that one should be interesting. If he’s still employed. (anticipating more releases here)

♦Just before DOJ Asst. AG Rod Rosenstein appeared before congress the IG released the actual text messaging information from Agent Strzok and Lisa Page.

See the pattern?

There have been approximately FIVE big releases from the IG office, that seem to be released in a very specific manner. It looks just like a prosecutor laying out his case against the identified names, and WE, the American People, are the jury.

Consider:

♦Release #1 was the Agent Strzok and Attorney Lisa Page story; and the repercussions from discovering their politically motivated bias in the 2015/2016 Clinton email investigation and 2016/2017 Russian Election investigation.

♦Release #2 outlined the depth of FBI Agent Strzok and FBI Attorney Page’s specific history in the 2016 investigation into Hillary Clinton to include the changing of the wording [“grossly negligent” to “extremely careless”] of the probe outcome delivered by FBI Director James Comey.

♦Release #3 was the information about DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr being in contact with Fusion GPS at the same time as the FISA application was submitted and granted by the FISA court; which authorized surveillance and wiretapping of candidate Donald Trump; that release also attached Bruce Ohr and Agent Strzok directly to the Steele Dossier.

♦Release #4 was information that Deputy Bruce Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, was an actual contract employee of Fusion GPS, and was hired by F-GPS specifically to work on opposition research against candidate Donald Trump. Both Bruce Ohr and Nellie Ohr are attached to the origin of the Christopher Steele Russian Dossier.

♦Release #5 was the specific communication between FBI Agent Strzok and FBI Attorney Page. The 10,000 text messages that included evidence of them both meeting with Asst. FBI Director Andrew McCabe to discuss the “insurance policy” against candidate Donald Trump in August of 2016.

Again, see the pattern?

The OIG is laying out the case for further inquiry, investigation and more importantly questioning, of each of the aforementioned officials.

Timing the information to drop in conjunction with the open and public congressional appearances of FBI Director Christopher Wray, FBI Asst. Director Andrew McCabe and Asst. AG Rod Rosenstein puts sunlight upon the content of the releases that doesn’t require MSM for broadcast.

See the strategy?

The IG has no prosecutorial authority, that decision is up to the Attorney General.

However, in this strategy the IG is laying out his prosecutable case before the American public via TV and congressional appearances. In my humble opinion none of this is accidental. This is strategic white hat distribution of material that is immensely important to the larger U.S. electorate. The subject matter is so consequential, it needs to be absorbed in small digestible portions.

And here’s where it gets really interesting.

As Ohio Rep Jim Jordan stated yesterday (after the Rod Rosenstein questioning), the next move is to put each of the named people in front of congress for questioning. Andrew McCabe, Bill Priestap, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, and possibly Nellie Ohr and Glenn Simpson, are questioned about the details behind the specific information provided by the IG releases. Get them under oath, get them on-the-record, and get them committed to one story.

Most likely, just like Lois Lerner, this crew will plead the fifth. However, unlike Lois Lerner the underlying evidence will exist from within the Inspector General’s year-long investigation. Against 1.2 million pages of documentation, we know of so far, it really doesn’t matter if they cooperate or not.

Their compliance with congress is irrelevant to their possible outcome. The IG investigative report provides all the needed substance to consider indictments.

Cooperate or not, the U.S. Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, will now be in a position to accept the exhaustive evidence provided by the IG report – and make a decision on whether or not to indict them.

Secondarily, as an outcome of their indictment, the larger cases against Hillary Clinton and company are now subject to reopening and plea bargains from the indicted FBI and DOJ conspirators can then be leveraged to gain additional information against the larger group. [And yes, this potentially touches President Obama depending on how the concentric circles of defense collapse.]

I would be remiss if I didn’t remind people that Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills have voided their prior immunity deals by provably lying to the FBI. Lying voids immunity.

Additionally, if former AG Loretta Lynch, and/or Asst. AG Sally Yates, and/or FBI Director James Comey are not captured within the IG investigative outcome (still undetermined), the seeds for their capture are most definitely created by it – because the next tier of leadership appears already captured.

Based on what we already know: Bruce Ohr, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, Bill Priestap and Andrew McCabe are already captured. Depending on the specifics, non-government entities Nellie Ohr and/or Glenn Simpson might also be captured under federal conspiracy or racketeering laws.

Bill Priestap (counterintelligence director), Bruce Ohr (DOJ Deputy), and definitely Andrew McCabe are in position to help net Sally Yates.

[IMHO Yates is the next one (per pattern) to get entangled with additional IG releases].

Director Comey seems to be in a very precarious position because the entire operation against Trump was a counterintelligence operation run from within the FBI albeit using DOJ assistance. Additionally, the non-indictment of Hillary Clinton, due to the political manipulation of evidence by Agent Strzok, becomes the second liability of James Comey.

If the FISA warrant used to gain wiretaps and surveillance on Donald Trump was obtained using false, manipulated or fraudulent information, which currently seems highly likely, the entire operation becomes a criminal conspiracy and the question(s) become who knew what, when, and how far up was that authorized.

Based solely on what is public information right now… Andrew McCabe and Bill Priestap are way out on the edges of legality. The issues around the Steele Dossier underpinning the FISA warrant would remove any legal defense they might have.

The Big Ugly

.

PS. All of this is separate from the ongoing leak investigations from the new unit established within the FBI and DOJ. (see here)

Obama AG Eric Holder Threatens GOP Congress: ‘Any attempt to remove Bob Mueller will not be tolerated’

Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder threatened Republicans in Congress against removing Special Counsel Robert Mueller the day after GOP congressmen grilled Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over Mueller stacking his team of Trump investigators with Hillary Clinton donors and lawyers. Holder issued his threat in a tweet Wednesday morning.

In a video released earlier this year by Senate Democrats, Holder’s successor as President Barack Obama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, infamously called for bloody civil unrest against newly-elected President Donald Trump, saying, “They marched, they bled. Yes, some of them have died. This is hard. Every good thing is. We have done this before. We can do this again.”

Has there ever been a time when the previous administration’s attorney’s general threatened Congress and tried to provoke civil unrest against the new administration?

Swamp Tremors – IG Horowitz Explains How FBI Agent Strzok and FBI Attorney Page Appeared on Investigative Radar….
Posted on December 14, 2017 by sundance

Well, now we know. Many people were curious about how Inspector General Michael Horowitz zeroed-in on the communication between FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and FBI Attorney Lisa Page.

IG Horowitz explains in a letter today (full pdf below) and interestingly provides additional insight into the years-long investigation. Accepting, based on the past several weeks -and fully accepting there is a reason for the rapid response herein- Horowitz is prudently strategic with his communications, it would also be wise to read between the lines in his letter:

[Page #2] In connection with the OIG’s review of the actions of DOJ and the FBI in advance ofthe 2016 presidentialelection, has the OIG received any similar allegations involving other government officials?

“The OIG’s review is ongoing, and we currently are in the process of completing our witness interviews and document review. Thereafter, we intend to issue a public report with our findings on these and the other issues we are reviewing, and we would be pleased to discuss them with you at that time.”

They all implicated themselves. The question is will anybody get indicted? I doubt it because Sessions doesn't want to stir the pot. There should be indictments to put an end to all the nonsense, but it looks like getting dragged before Congress will be the punishment.

So nothing then? Congressional testimony is like study hall for federal regime parasites.

I like to see Jimmy Jordan get up and jack slap Strzok...that'd be awesome!

Oh Lordy – Senator Johnson Outlines Scope of FBI Officials Sculpting Clinton Exoneration Statement for Comey…
Posted on December 14, 2017 by sundance

Senator Ron Johnson sends a letter to current FBI Director Christopher Wray questioning the surrounding investigative details about how the James Comey (July 5th, 2016) exoneration manuscript was changed and sculpted. (Full pdf below)

Within the letter Senator Johnson shares the changes that were made to the manuscript, and asks Wray if FBI officials are aware of who made the changes and why. Prior revelations from within an ongoing IG report showed FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok participating in both the investigation of Hillary Clinton, and changing some of the manuscript to shape the narrative away from criminal conduct and toward Clinton’s favor.

Earlier information showed, via text messages with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, the scope of FBI Agent Strzok’s partisan efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election due to his personal political bias. Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe appeared to be coordinating together on the Clinton investigation toward a united outcome. Director James Comey delivered that outcome to the American electorate.

Essentially today Senator Johnson is asking current FBI Director Wray if he is aware of any further FBI officials that would have also participated in this coordinated effort; and what measures Director Wray is taking to look into the ‘matter’:

WASHINGTON – Newly released documents obtained by Fox News reveal that then-FBI Director James Comey’s draft statement on the Hillary Clinton email probe was edited numerous times before his public announcement, in ways that seemed to water down the bureau’s findings considerably.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, sent a letter to the FBI on Thursday that shows the multiple edits to Comey’s highly scrutinized statement.

In an early draft, Comey said it was “reasonably likely” that “hostile actors” gained access to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email account. That was changed later to say the scenario was merely “possible.”

Another edit showed language was changed to describe the actions of Clinton and her colleagues as “extremely careless” as opposed to “grossly negligent.” This is a key legal distinction.

Johnson, writing about his concerns in a letter Thursday to FBI Director Christopher Wray, said the original “could be read as a finding of criminality in Secretary Clinton’s handling of classified material.” (read more)

Recent alarming information surrounding the politicization of the FBI and DOJ:

August 15, 2016, FBI Agent Strzok tells FBI Lawyer Lisa Page:

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office that there’s no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

What do you think the odds are that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe will not show up next week in front of the House Judiciary Committee?

If he does indeed show up, that’s probably the one congressional hearing this year that will be well worth watching live.

President Trump: It’s a Shame What Happened to the FBI — Hillary Clinton Investigation Was a Rigged System (VIDEO)
December 15, 2017 by Jim Hoft 5 Comments
President Donald Trump briefly spoke with reporters on Friday morning before his visit to the FBI headquarters in Quantico.

President Trump slammed the FBI corruption and collusion that is now evident at the bureau. President Trump said it was “a shame” what has happened to the FBI in the past few years. FBI brass altered their findings of Hillary Clinton’s criminal actions to ensure she was able to run for president in 2016. There is now plenty of proof that this happened during the 2016 presidential campaign.

President Trump: We’re going to rebuild the FBI. It will be bigger and better than ever. But it’s very sad when you look at those documents. And how they’ve done that is really, really disgraceful… It’s a very sad thing to watch. The level of anger with what they are witnessing at the FBI is certainly very sad… Russia was a Democrat hoax. I had nothing to do with Russia. I did not even make a call to Russia. Even the Democrats admit there was no collusion… When you look at the Hillary Clinton investigation. I ‘ve been saying it for a long time. That was a rigged system folks. That was a rigged system. When you look at what they did in respect to the Hillary Clinton investigation it was rigged.

Well worth watching, if only for the entertainment value.
So far the right people are being exposed and publicly destroyed. That is a very important first step.
I have never seen this happen to demonrats before.
I am keeping the faith that it's different this time. For now. We shall see!

Nevermind "rebuilding" the Federal Bureau of Insurrection...just put a stake in it Mr. President. We don't need a "bigger and better" FBI we need it dissolved in acid and flushed. Their budget is > $9.5 billion dollars and all they do is threaten climate change deniers, attack political opposition, & manufacture "terror" plots so they can themselves heroically take down.

We are all waiting for the hammer to drop on these people. When? When? I realize a case must be made first....but this trickle, trickle of information in just a tease when nothing is ever done to these criminals supposedly running out country.

  • Nelle GS3 hours ago
It's not a tease, it's education in small bites, the kind that can reach a wide audience day after day. As the low-info voters are gradually made aware that their FBI and other trusted institutions are lawless and corrupt, the outrage builds. When it blows wide open, they already know why, and are ready to see the offenders punished. Also, it may panic some of the bad guys into making big mistakes.

Over a dozen congress critters to resign in next 72 hours?

An investigative reporter with The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) announced on Friday that Congress’ human resources scandal is about to break wide-open and predicted that over a dozen members of the House of Representatives will resign.

DCNF reporter Luke Rosiak tweeted on Friday: “Congress' human resources scandal is just getting started. I anticipate we will see the resignation of more than a dozen House members over harassment and secret settlements, and soon.”

A dozen you say?!? Let's hope that's a baker's dozen and a meteor forces the remaining 522 to "resign".

It's a steep price for capitol hill to pay for their criminality, but I'm willing(and anxious) for them to pay it.

It seems every weekend we get these happening predictions that have us on the edge of our seat through the weekend yet no one actually get arrested and these phony happenings just seem to fade away while another prediction rises up to take its place. I may be dumb but I'm not a stupid goy.

IT’S AN INDUSTRY: Thanks to Lisa Bloom We Now Know Trump Accusers are Paid $750,000 by Dem Donors to Say Trump Abused Them
December 15, 2017 by Jim Hoft 142 Comments

It’s an industry.
Thanks to Lisa Bloom, spawn of Gloria Allred, we now know that Trump accusers are paid $750,000 by top Democrat donors to accuse the billionaire president of sexual abuse.

With Democrats it’s all about power by any means necessary.

Democrats paraded out three Trump accusers this week.
Someone needs to check their bank accounts.

Josh Caplan reported this earlier today by The Hill:

A well-known women’s rights lawyer sought to arrange compensation from donors and tabloid media outlets for women who made or considered making sexual misconduct allegations against Donald Trump during the final months of the 2016 election, according to documents and interviews.

California lawyer Lisa Bloom’s efforts included offering to sell alleged victims’ stories to TV outlets in return for a commission for herself, arranging a donor to pay off one Trump accuser’s mortgage and attempting to secure a six-figure payment for another woman who ultimately declined to come forward after being offered as much as $750,000, the clients told The Hill.

The women’s accounts were chronicled in contemporaneous contractual documents, emails and text messages reviewed by The Hill, including an exchange of texts between one woman and Bloom that suggested political action committees supporting Hillary Clinton were contacted during the effort.

The women’s accounts were chronicled in contemporaneous contractual documents, emails and text messages reviewed by The Hill, including an exchange of texts between one woman and Bloom that suggested political action committees supporting Hillary Clinton were contacted during the effort.

The way the good guys are laying this all out is fucking brilliant. It's like reading an old Tom Clancy or Jack Higgins novel.
I had about given up hope people of this caliber even existed in power in America anymore. . .

It's not a tease, it's education in small bites, the kind that can reach a wide audience day after day.

Oh, Here We Go…
Posted on December 16, 2017 by sundance

…Giddy up! Democrats just realized the years-long DOJ Office of Inspector General (OIG) investigation is about to bite them, hard. We are now entering the political combat zone where congressional democrats will attack the IG, in advance of the pending report.

Ironically, the Inspector General investigation led by Michael Horowitz was originally a lame-duck request (January 12, 2017) by Democrats prior to President Obama leaving office. [OIG Origination pdf HERE] That’s one of the more brilliant aspects towards its value. The resulting investigation into the politicization of the FBI and DOJ is revealing details of how both departments were corrupted by political operatives friendly to Democrats. Consequently, their own demanded investigation now becomes a risk.

(OIG Horowitz, AG Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Chris Wray)

As described by Politico: “Judiciary Committee ranking member Jerrold Nadler of New York and two other panel Democrats asked for a full review of DOJ’s decision making that led to Tuesday night’s release of about 375 texts that the FBI officials — Peter Strzok and Lisa Page — sent over a 15-month period during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Democrats are furious the Strzok/Page text messages were released by DOJ Inspector General Horowitz to the House Committee. They’re mad because the releases provide evidence of the corruption Jerold Nadler and Democrat leadership want to keep hidden. However, as we have shared, the Inspector General is releasing some of the evidence collected so that the Intelligence and Judiciary Committees can question FBI and DOJ leadership about the content – and this approach rolls out the much bigger story.

In essence, Inspector General Horowitz is providing the American people with information the Democrats want to keep hidden. Institutionally, the black hat usurpers, mostly mid-level management and staff within the DOJ and FBI, have been stalling and blocking congressional inquiry into their nefarious, and politically motivated schemes.

The Office of Inspector General is providing a workaround due to the non-cooperation from core FBI management who are at risk from the information congress is demanding. The career officials, Black Hats inside the FBI, those who manipulated the outcomes from within their offices for political purposes, are attempting to stop, block or significantly slow-down congressional oversight.

However, after a year of accumulating evidence, and with an OIG staff of investigators around 500 people strong, Inspector General Horowitz is able to provide the seeds of evidence congress needs to ask the right questions and share the truth with the American electorate. CTH has outlined this apparent strategy extensively – SEE HERE.

Democrat Leadership are trying to bolster the position of the career embeds by turning their fire upon the Department of Justice (Rod Rosenstein), and the Office of the Inspector General (Michael Horowitz). Essentially their goal is to stop the IG from sharing, or publicly identifying the location of, the damning evidence the FBI and DOJ black hat management are trying to keep hidden.

(L-R: Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Asst. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein)

Allies and enemies (black hats and white hats) are now becoming well defined:

(Politico) […] DOJ’s decision to release the text messages this week before the public IG report is finished — Inspector General Michael Horowitz has said he may be done by April — is now the subject of controversy.

[…] In their letter Thursday, the Democrats asked DOJ Public Affairs Director Sarah Isgur Flores to name the DOJ officials who evaluated the content of the text messages to ensure they could be released. They also requested the names of who at DOJ gave the green light to share the messages with the media at the same time they were being delivered to Congress. Nadler, joined by Democratic Reps. Hakeem Jeffries of New York and Jamie Raskin of Maryland, also asked for a list of which reporters and media outlets attended the Tuesday night briefing and any documents they were shown.

DOJ spokesperson Isgur Flores responds:

[…] DOJ had been planning to include the text messages as part of the final IG report, Isgur Flores added, but then changed course and opted for the early release after getting congressional committee requests for the material.

She said Rosenstein consulted with the IG, who “determined that he had no objection to the department’s providing the material to the congressional committees that had requested it.” (read more)

To shut-down the criticism of the release(s), Inspector General Horowitz points out his prior statements where he said:

[page #1, point 1, paragraph 2] “At a hearing on November 15 2017, before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, I testified that the OIG had no objection to the department providing to congress pre-existing department records in its custody in response to a congressional oversight request.”

View this document on Scribd

IG Horowitz is saying if the IG’s office has the records as a result of its investigation, and congress is seeking those records from the FBI, and the FBI is blocking release of their copies of those records, then the OIG’s office has no problem sharing those rightly requested records in the cause of appropriate and statutory oversight.

In essence if the FBI won’t give congress the evidence it seeks, Horowitz is saying: ‘I will’.

See, Inspector General Horowitz is wearing a big White Hat here.

The records Horowitz is sharing are details his investigation has uncovered that outline the larger FBI and DOJ collusion against candidate, and possibly President, Donald Trump.

While the partially recused Attorney General Jeff Sessions watches it play out, Asst. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein works as the conduit to ensure those records are provided to congress per request. Yes, Rosenstein, like Horowitz, is also a white hat.

Their united approach with this information is essentially confirming what CTH has written about for the past several weeks. There is a clear strategy here with the information that is surfacing for us to absorb.

Each piece of released information outlines the location of a larger piece of information. Congressional committees just need to keep asking questions, following the trail of evidence, and interviewing the DOJ and FBI officials named along the way.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz and his extensive team of internal investigators have almost a years-worth of evidence they have gathered. Meanwhile, Asst. AG Rod Rosenstein has another team, a new task-force he put together in August as a result of instructions from AG Jeff Sessions and DNI Dan Coats.

That joint task force consists of FBI and DOJ investigators who are specifically hunting intelligence leakers; including leakers within congress who might be public officials.

TIMING – Depending on how congress proceeds with their questioning of people like: FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI Counterintelligence head Bill Priestap; FBI Agent Peter Strzok; DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr; FBI and DOJ Attorney Lisa Page, etc…. this is building toward a release early next year.

And all of this still doesn’t even include the “unmasking” angle. Yet.

2018 Mid-Terms. Oh my.

The Big Ugly Finale’.

See how that works?

RESOURCES:
IG Stimulated Releases of Information:

BOOM! Trump Lawyer Strikes Back: Mueller Unlawfully Obtained Transition Emails in Russia Probe (VIDEO)
December 16, 2017 by Joshua Caplan 148 Comments
According to Axios boss Mike Allen, special counsel Robert Mueller secretly got his hands on “many tens of thousands,” of emails exchanged by Trump transition officials. Trump lawyer Kory Langhofer penned a blistering response to the news, accusing Mueller of unlawfully obtaining transition documents.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump lawyer: Mueller improperly obtained transition documents in Russia probe http://fxn.ws/2oo22zj

4:41 PM - Dec 16, 2017

FOX News reports:

A lawyer for the Trump presidential transition team is accusing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office of inappropriately obtaining transition documents as part of its Russia probe, including confidential attorney-client communications and privileged communications.

In a letter obtained by Fox News and sent to House and Senate committees on Saturday, the transition team’s attorney alleges “unlawful conduct” by the career staff at the General Services Administration in handing over transition documents to the special counsel’s office.

Kory Langhofer, the counsel to Trump for America, wrote in the letter that the special counsel’s office is aware that the GSA “did not own or control the records in question.”

Langhofer noted the special counsel’s office has “extensively used the materials in question, including portions that are susceptible to claims of privilege.”

Mueller’s office did not return FOX News’ request for comment.

Mueller obtained the emails through the General Services Administration (GSA) that were sent using Presidential Transition Team addresses ending in “ptt.gov.”

Axios reports:

  • The emails include 12 accounts, one of which contains about 7,000 emails, the sources said.

  • The accounts include the team’s political leadership and the foreign-policy team, the sources said.
Why it matters: The transition emails are said to include sensitive exchanges on matters that include potential appointments, gossip about the views of particular senators involved in the confirmation process, speculation about vulnerabilities of Trump nominees, strategizing about press statements, and policy planning on everything from war to taxes.

Trump transition officials only learned Mueller secretly obtained the emails after noticing special counsel investigators asking detailed questions based on the exchanges.

Trump transition officials were reportedly surprised by the move, as they have fully cooperated with the special counsel’s office since the probe began.

According to Allen, the special counsel’s office will use the emails to “generate new leads.”

Digging Ugly Holes – Robert Mueller Team Illegally Obtained Trump Transition Team Emails…
Posted on December 16, 2017 by sundance

There is widespread opinion that many of the officials enlisted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller are ethically challenged. Critics point to Mueller team members like DOJ Attorney Andrew Weissman, Jeannie Rhee and Aaron Zebley as specific examples of players within Mueller’s investigative team who have a history of gross ethics violations and also carry jaw-dropping conflicts-of-interest.

Against that backdrop, a report today about conduct by the Mueller team of investigators gains additional levels of concerns. According to reports, in August 2017 the Mueller team went around the Trump administration in their quest for documents, by directly demanding documents from the General Services Agency (GSA); the entity that hosted the communication network for the Trump transition team. According to reports, the content of 12 email accounts was handed over to the Special Counsels’ office; consisting of thousands of pages of transition team communication. Innocuous, ordinary transition stuff, but the method of procurement is jaw-droppingly unethical, possibly illegal.

However, as with all things disclosed and discovered recently, CTH would caution anyone toward weighting favor or disfavor on the underlying issue. Additionally, I would again remind everyone to look at the timelines on any new information, overlay it against prior information, and consider how the timing of the event(s) -in relation to the whole- might change the first impression.

In this case, the reported action by the SC team took place in August 2017, four or five months ago. Inside that exact same timeline, on August 16th 2017, FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI Attorney Lisa Page were kicked off the Mueller team. Coincidence? Dunno. Maybe.

Again, don’t get so stuck looking at the granules moving at your feet that you fail to notice the entire landscape around you is shifting.

CTH has already opened the portal a little further, and faster, than some would be comfortable with. It is not our intention to undermine the best round-up of usurpers in history; but rather our ongoing CTH effort is to remind everyone they are living inside history as it is being made. Look around, this is exiting and phenomenal stuff.

Almost every intellectually honest observer has come to the opinion the ‘Muh Russian Conspiracy/Collusion Narrative’ is a complete snipe hunt; a disingenuous nothing-burger.

Further, the entire “Russian narrative” now appears to have been created to cover the tracks of a joint FBI and DOJ operation where they were conducting wiretaps and surveillance on presidential candidate Donald Trump, to gain information to the benefit of candidate Hillary Clinton. In essence, the FBI and DOJ were weaponized.

The ‘Russian Election Interference Concern‘ story was the cover-story to generate the FBI’s 2016 Counterintelligence operation against candidate Trump. The intelligence community created the conspiracy that needed an investigation. The target of the investigation was always Trump; however, it was sold to the FISA Court as targeting Russian interference in the election. Ergo, presto an FBI counterintelligence operation.

After unexpectedly losing the election, the FBI and DOJ needed a justification for the FBI operation. That justification remained ‘Russia’. The ‘Russian Election Hacking’ story evolved into the ‘Trump Russian Collusion’ story because there had to be a justification for discoveries of the prior wiretaps and surveillance on candidate Trump and his team.

Those who conducted the FBI counterintelligence operation against Donald Trump knew that some details of that operation were bound to come out. They needed a plausible and sell-able reason to explain why the Trump team was under surveillance.

Many of the same conspiring entities who are at risk from the true motive within the 2016 FBI Operation against Donald Trump (Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bill Priestap, Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Glenn Simpson, etc.) were also put onto the Mueller investigation.

Other co-conspirators who are/were not part of Mueller’s team, were relying on people within the team for protection against discoveries of the original intent.

In essence, many of the characters within Robert Mueller’s team have a vested conflict of interest. They may try to hide dangerous information, and/or create or enhance alternate information intended to cloud, obfuscate or change the motive of what actually took place in 2016.

This is why so many of the characters within the “small unit” who worked on FBI operation “Defend Clinton” are also on Special Counsel Mueller’s operation “Trump/Russia”.

As it stands right now, President Trump’s attorney’s are scheduled to meet with Special Counsel Robert Mueller next week. Against the backdrop of the ongoing Inspector General releases -the real investigative risk to the FBI scheme- Special Counsel Mueller has substantially lost footing, and his entire investigation is losing credibility. This should not come as a surprise. After all, there is no ‘there’ there, on the original false intent.

The unethical method used by Mueller’s investigators to retrieve emails from within the transition team also includes protected and privileged information; Robert Mueller has already conceded this was ‘inappropriate’, and only further diminishes his investigation.

Mueller is on his heels as the result of his team’s action; and next week he’s meeting with Trump lawyers presumably to justify/discuss continuance of an investigation that has nothing to do with discovering the Vast Russian Election Conspiracy; because there was no vast Russian election conspiracy.

Remember, everything you just read, President Donald Trump already knows.
