VA suicide prevention funding for paid media advertising -

Allocated $6.2 million

Actually spent only $57K as of Sep 2018

Was projected to spend total of $1.5M in FY 2018 (which ended 30 Sep 2018)

And we wonder why so many vets commit suicide?

VA Chief Grilled on Unspent Suicide Prevention Funds

—Also called on the carpet at congressional hearing for errors in caregiver programs

by Shannon Firth, Washington Correspondent, MedPage Today

December 21, 2018

WASHINGTON – The Department of Veterans Affairs spent only a fraction of the money allocated to the agency for suicide prevention outreach according to a recent oversight report. Also, some veterans with disabilities have been arbitrarily downgraded or cut from caregiver programs, according to recent media investigations.

Members of both the House and Senate Committees on Veterans Affairs grilled VA Secretary Robert Wilkie Jr. about the details of these critical findings during a joint hearing on Wednesday.

On average 20 veterans commit suicide every day, yet a Government Accountability Office report released on Monday found that outreach efforts at the VA related to suicide prevention waned in 2017 and 2018.

Of $6.2 million allocated to paid advertising for suicide prevention, the VA spent only $57,000 as of September 2018, despite the department's assertion that suicide prevention was its top clinical priority.

The report, however, clarified that in total the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is projected to have spent a total of $1.5 million on paid media in fiscal year 2018, although that's still far short of the funds available to the agency.

The office attributed the department's failure to spend its money appropriately to leadership turnover and reorganization.

Specifically, the GAO noted that the reason the VHA had not spent the leftover monies for paid media aimed at suicide prevention was that "changes in leadership and organizational realignment of the program" delayed approval of a formal plan for the campaign.

The report also noted that while the VHA maintains metrics for its campaign, such as how many people are estimated to have seen its anti-suicide messages, it does not have specific targets for them.

Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas) zeroed in on this particular finding, and asked the Secretary how he measures his success in addressing veteran suicide.

"How do you know how you're doing against that priority [suicide prevention]? What are your goals?"

Wilkie clarified that 14 of the 20 suicides that happen each day happen among veterans are outside of the VA system.

O'Rourke said that fact has been known for years. "I'm not blaming you for where we are… I want to know what your goal is and how we're doing against it."

"The goal is to do our best to make sure we have done everything possible," Wilkie said.

"We'll never be able to judge you on that," O'Rourke interrupted.

Wilkie, 56, then explained that most of the men completing suicide are his father's age. "That means these are problems that are fifty years in the making," he said.

O'Rourke, still not satisfied with Wilkie's response, asked if he agreed with the GAO's finding that the agency does not have targets for preventing suicide.

One of Wilkie's lieutenants at the VA, Steven Lieberman, MD, broke into the discussion, attempting to rescue his colleague from O'Rourke's interrogation. He said the VA agreed with the report's conclusions and its recommendations.

As for goals, Lieberman said, "We are in the process of developing more robust ones."

Wilkie faced more challenging questions from Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) who highlighted a recent NPR story that described how veterans have been incorrectly downgraded from caregiver support programs, including some double and triple amputees.

Wilkie said the problems highlighted by NPR were corrected within 48 hours.

"Those are not isolated cases, we're hearing many of them" Murray said. She asked Wilkie for his assurance that no one else would be terminated or downgraded until he has made sure that program regulations are correctly applied.

"Absolutely, I will make that commitment and I will brief these committees," Wilkie responded.

7 Times Hollywood Celebs Wished Violence Against Trump in 2018

Once again, several Hollywood celebrities spent the year fantasizing about violence against President Donald Trump, his family, members of his administration, and his supporters. While down from the more than dozen celebrities who imagined violence against Trump in 2017, the Hollywood hate was still savage from the likes of Jim Carrey, John Legend, and Rosie O’Donnell.

1. Peter Fonda Calls for Barron Trump to Be Kidnapped, Put in Cage with Pedophiles Actor Peter Fonda went on an unhinged rant on social media in June about the controversy over children being separated from adults at the border. Among other things, Fonda wished for Barron Trump to be detained and put into a cage with pedophiles.

2. Singer John Legend Supports Public Harassment of Trump Administration In June, singer and left-wing activist John Legend defended the public harassment of Trump administration officials, saying in a social media post, “Let’s make a deal with the Trump Administration. Reunite all these families immediately and you can go out to eat wherever the fuck you want.”

3. Jim Carrey Draws Donald Trump Burning At the Stake Actor Jim Carrey depicted President Trump being burned at the stake in a drawing posted to his social media page in August.

4. Broadway Actress Carole Cook Makes Joke About Trump’s Assassination Broadway star Carole Cook joked about the assassination of President Trump in September, saying, “Where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him?”

5. Rosie O’Donnell Jokes About Military Coup on Trump Left-wing activist and actress Rosie O’Donnell fantasized about a military coup against President Trump in October, saying, “I want to send the military to the White House to get him.” In the same interview, she confessed that Trump’s election made her literally sick and forced her to exile herself from public life for a year.

6. Actor James Cromwell Warns of “Blood in the Streets” over Trump Presidency Actor James Cromwell said in a speech in October that if Trump’s presidency isn’t stopped democratically, there will be a bloody revolution instead. “If we don’t stop [President Trump] now, then we will have a revolution for real. Then there will be blood in the streets,” he said.

7. Tom Arnold Challenges Trump to a Fistfight on Twitter Actor Tom Arnold fantasized about fighting President Trump in a social media post in October. I say put up or shut up @realDonaldTrump Me vs You. For America. First body slam wins. Any Rally. Any Time. Between now & the midterms,” he said.

These violent threats have become the norm for Hollywood celebrities since Trump announced his campaign for president. Throughout 2016 and 2017, stars expressed a number of violent fantasies about the president and his supporters. Madonna infamously confessed her thoughts about “blowing up the White House,” while Robert De Niro openly said he wanted to “punch [Trump] in the face.”

Turkey's Target in Syria 'Not the American Soldiers:' Turkish President

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday that his military will try to avoid clashes with U.S. troops during a planned operation in Syria against U.S.-backed Kurdish militias fighting ISIS.

"Our target is not the American soldiers. It is the terror organizations that are active in the region," Erdogan said at a defense industry conference in Ankara, according to Turkey's Anadolu news agency and other Turkish outlets.

Erdogan said the Turkish military would move into Syria "within days" to clear the town of Manbij and other areas of northeastern Syria where U.S. troops were manning observation posts in an effort to stabilize the region.

U.S. troops also recently began running joint patrols with the Turkish military in Manbij, a flashpoint town that Turkey claims harbors elements of the YPG (People's Protection Units).

The Kurdish YPG has been a main contingent within the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, which drove ISIS from Raqqa, once the capital of the "caliphate," and is now pressing the last ISIS pocket in the town of Hajin on the Syria-Iraq border.

In an informal session with Pentagon reporters last month, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis rejected Turkey's charges that the YPG was allied with the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), which has been labeled a terrorist organization by Turkey and the U.S.

Mattis said the Turks "don't like our relationship" with the YPG, "and I understand where they're coming from. But we do not say that YPG is the same as PKK."

Mattis also used the informal session to announce that small units from among the estimated 2,000 U.S. troops in Syria would move north to set up observation posts near the Turkey-Syria border.

He said the main purpose of the posts was to provide Turkey, a NATO ally, with early warning of potential threats, but Turkey viewed the move as an effort to protect the YPG. In October, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) suspended the offensive against Hajin when the Turkish military shelled the YPG in northeastern Syria.

In his remarks Wednesday, Erdogan charged that the U.S. was "not being honest" in describing the purpose of the observation posts.

"We know that the aim of the radar and observation posts set up by the United States is not to protect our country from terrorists, but to protect the terrorists from Turkey," Erdogan said.

The alarming statements from Erdogan marked the latest sign of friction between the U.S. and Turkey, which has drawn close to Russia and Iran in seeking an end to Syria's civil war.

Turkey also has angered the U.S. and other NATO allies with its agreement to purchase advanced S-400 surface-to-air missiles from Russia.

At the Pentagon Tuesday, spokesman Army Col. Rob Manning said in a statement that the U.S. had completed setting up the observation posts at Mattis' direction "to address the security concerns of our NATO ally Turkey."

"We take Turkish security concerns seriously and we are committed to coordinating our efforts with Turkey to bring stability to northeastern Syria," Manning said.

He quoted Mattis on the purpose of the mission: "We want to be the people who call the Turks and warn them if we see something coming out of an area that we're operating in."

Also at the Pentagon on Tuesday, Col. Jonathan Byrom, commander of the Army's 3rd Cavalry Regiment and deputy commander of Joint Operations Command-Iraq, said that artillery units from his command have been using a firebase in Iraq for cross-border fire into Syria against ISIS targets and in support of the SDF offensive against Hajin.

Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, part of Task Force Rifles, have been using M777 towed 155mm howitzers in the fire missions from Iraqi Firebase Saham on the border, Byrom said in a video conference from Baghdad to the Pentagon.

The U.S. battery has been joined at Firebase Saham by French artillery units using CEASAR 155 self-propelled howitzers and Iraqi Security Forces units using M109 Paladin self-propelled 155mm howitzers, Byrom said.

The fire missions have been "fairly intense, more intense than others I've seen in the past," Byrom said, "and they're directly contributing to the protection of the Iraqi border."

Paul Ryan’s Last Act: Protecting Barack Obama’s Illegal War in Yemen with Democrat Votes

Lame-duck Speaker Paul Ryan managed to shepherd through a motion protecting President Barack Obama’s illegal war in Yemen, thanks to five Democrats who joined the Republican majority to pass the measure.

peaker Paul Ryan attached a rule on Tuesday night to the Conference Report for the 2018 Farm bill which would block a potential War Powers resolution vote on America’s involvement in Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen. The rule passed through the House 206-203, featuring strong Republican support for the rule, along with five Democrats who voted for the measure. Eighteen Republicans and 185 Democrats against the measure.

Ryan’s actions serve as a rare instance in which matters of foreign policy were attached domestic policy; although, Ryan blocked a resolution by Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) in November by including language in the Manage Our Wolves Act that would block a vote on America’s involvement in Yemen.

Khanna called Ryan’s move this week “unprecedented” and contended that Congress abdicated its constitutional responsibility to authorize or de-authorize military conflict.

The five Democrats who voted for the measure are Reps. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MA), David Scott (D-GA), Collin Peterson (D-MN), Jim Costa (D-CA), and Al Lawson (D-FL).

Had the Democrats not joined Republicans in voting for this rule, Ryan’s rule would have failed and Ryan’s ploy would have failed on the House floor. There were enough Republicans to tank the rule– five Democrats saved the rule.

Prominent Republican conservatives such as Reps. Dave Brat (R-VA), Justin Amash (R-MI), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Mark Meadows (R-NC), Thomas Massie (R-KY), and Scott Perry (R-PA) voted against Ryan’s motion.

Massie, in an interview with Breitbart News on Wednesday, said that American involvement in Yemen was not “America First.”

Massie told Breitbart News:

This is definitely not America First. We shouldn’t be spending our blood and treasure in the Middle East, and furthermore on another level, we shouldn’t be jeopardizing the passage of domestic policy and domestic spending with a foreign policy/ war issue. In other words, if you’re putting America First, why would you jeopardize passage of the Farm bill by sneaking in the War in Yemen through the Farm bill?

Khanna said:

Not only are the Republicans turning off the privileged status for H. Con Res 142, breaking the rules of the House, they are turning off the privileged status for all War Powers Resolutions related to Yemen for the rest of this Congress. This is unprecedented. Speaker Ryan is preventing Congress from conducting our constitutional duty and once again, breaking the rules of the House. While this is happening, the United States Senate is debating and voting on this issue.

Khanna wrote in a tweet on Wednesday:

Once again the GOP is using parliamentary tricks to block our effort to end the devastating war in Yemen. Every 10 minutes a Yemeni child is dying. @SpeakerRyan is using his remaining power to protect the Saudis who are aligned w/ al-Qaeda and murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

UK Commitment to UN Migration Pact ‘All But Violates’ Govt Immigration Pledge: Think Tank

A leading immigration think tank has said that the United Kingdom’s adoption of the UN’s migration pact “all but violates” the government’s pledge to cut immigration.

On Monday, the UK and 163 other nations committed themselves to the United Nations’ Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration — the first attempt at the “global governance” and institutionalisation of migration.

The UK’s delegate at the UN conference in Marrakesh, Morocco, the Foreign Office’s minister of state Alistair Burt heralded the compact, claiming it “tackles” illegal immigration.

Migration Watch UK fired back at the assertion, saying, “This is the wrong move. The word ‘control’ does not appear in the final text of the Compact.”

“The Government committed, 3 times in election manifestos, to reduce immigration by a lot (a goal supported by 73% of the public according to one poll).

“How is signing a Compact which binds the UK into ‘enhanc[ing] the availability… of [migration] pathways’ compatible with that?”

Alp Mehmet, Vice Chairman of Migration Watch UK, told Breitbart London, “This Compact is misguided and one that the UK should not have signed.

“No government serious about reducing migration should be committing to it. As for our government, by signing up to the Compact, they are all but violating a manifesto promise to reduce immigration substantially.”

Migration Watch UK outlined in a briefing document published late November that the UN’s pledge “would stand in direct contradiction to the government’s three election manifesto commitments to reduce the level of net migration from the current 270,000 per year to less than 100,000.”

The document added, “The Compact appears to have been drafted by diplomats whose aim seems to be to ‘normalise’ mass immigration from the developing world to the West at a time when the public are very clear that they find the scale and pace of such flows to be unsustainable and unacceptable.

“The Government needs to reconnect with voters and demonstrate that they are serious about honouring their election promise.”

The think tank also urged the Government to debate a petition calling for the UK to not sign the controversial document, which has gained more than 125,000 signatures.

The compact aims to protect the “human rights and fundamental freedoms of all migrants”, and combat “xenophobia, racism and discrimination” towards migrants.

Critics have said that the compact will lead to media criticism of mass or illegal migration being made illegal, and while proponents claim the terms are not legally binding, European lawyers warn the wording exists in a “legal grey area” that could be used to interpret national laws.

Several eastern European countries as well as Israel and Australia pulled out of backing the compact in recent months following the lead of President Donald Trump who rejected the compact in December 2017, saying,“The global approach in the [UN] declaration is simply not compatible with U.S. sovereignty.”

HUGE! Judge Sentencing General Flynn Demands to See FBI 302 Documents on Flynn Ambush Interview

Judge Sullivan, who is assigned to General Flynn’s case is demanding to see the FBI summary 302 report about the ambush Flynn interview according to a new court filing.

Counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok showed up to the White House on January 24th, 2017 along with Special Agent Joe Pientka to interview General Flynn; the meeting was arranged by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Flynn was told not have his lawyer with him and soon after the FBI agents began to question him he realized he was being ambushed over his phone calls to Russian Ambassador Kislyak.

The FBI agents who ambushed General Flynn on January 24th, 2017 didn’t write their 302 reports on their interview until 7 months later on August 22nd — this is also AFTER Rosenstein wrote his August 2nd memo expanding Mueller’s scope.

Congressional investigators have long suspected the 302 summary notes on Flynn were altered to make it appear he was lying.

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe previously testified to Congress that the two agents who interviewed Flynn didn’t detect any deception.

The 302 report may not be released to the public because it may be filed under seal.

The American people deserve answers as to why the 302 summary report on the Flynn interview wasn’t taken at the time of the ambush –or was it rewritten several months later to exclude Peter Strzok since he was removed from Mueller’s team?

Comey, Yates, Strzok and McCabe set General Flynn up to not only remove him from his post as NatSec Advisor, but to catch him in a perjury trap.

The Special Counsel must file its reply to Wednesday’s court filing by December 14th.

hey shoot,

one of the things we must all remain cognizant of is the only way to block many of these are through the judicial system with judges who are not aligned with a party

by asking for the background, he is at least fronting the idea that he is reviewing the proper nature of it, and will either rubber stamp it, or toss the sentencing due to the inadequacy of the info collect.

as for ryan and the war in yemen, if it is illegal and setting new precedent, attaching military action to civilian bills, that does not bode well for the long term.

That's just it Scorp, we've been witnessing these sort of seemingly important events and investigations at the legislative and judicial levels for a long time yet nothing ever actually happens. How much hopium are we going to smoke before we realize it's all just for show to keep us all distracted and amused? I for one am weary of chasing that carrot on a stick and simply brush these 'blockbuster events' to the side. Hell, I don't even argue with the Q fanboys about it any more (I miss those days)

Maybe Q is a psyop designed to piss off 30M people enough so that they actually DO something about the system (when in the end nothing happens!) instead of passively standing by and letting the system go to crap on it's way to totalitarian marxism.

Q is nothing but a messenger. If showing people what's wrong doesn't get them motivated, it's their own damn fault nothing changes.

Israeli Firm Caught Up in US-China Rivalry Over Advanced Military Robots

The US Army is apparently searching for cutting-edge technologies to be used in its military service, and new players in the field seem to be popping up, along with an established Chinese manufacturer.

Israeli firm Roboteam is competing with Massachusetts-based Endeavor Robotics over a series of major contracts to build the US army’s top-notch generation of ground robots. Those machines will be designed to be smarter and easier to run than the remote-controlled rovers that have helped troops disable bombs for more than 15 years.

Notably at stake is a lucrative contract worth $429 million for 3,000 backpack-sized robots that can defuse bombs and reveal enemy positions. The machines in question are easily manoeuvrable, and can be “carried by infantry for long distances without taxing the soldier,” said Bryan McVeigh, project manager for force projection at the Army’s research and contracting centre in Warren, Michigan, as cited by The Times of Israel.

The project is aimed at helping troops “look around the corner, over the next hillside and let the robot be in harm’s way and let the robot get shot,” said Paul Scharre, a military technology expert at the Center for a New American Security.

Meanwhile, Chinese, Russian and US firms have recently been increasing their investments in the industry.

The chief of the Army, Gen. Mark Milley, noted that adversaries like China and Russia “are investing heavily and very quickly” in the use of aerial, sea and ground robots. And now, he added, “we are doing the same.”

Such a massive breakthrough, with Israel also partaking in the competition for the contract, showcases how fear that China could outrun the US in terms of technology pushes even small-scale ventures to play a geopolitical game in order to beat rivals. Also, there is still a question of whether defence technology should be outsourced only to American companies, or not.

Concerns that widely used commercial drones made by the Chinese company DJI, which has traditionally manufactured the aforementioned systems, could be vulnerable to spying led the American army to ban their use in 2017.

This August, meanwhile, the Pentagon published a report that focused on China conducting surveillance with an intent to acquire foreign military technologies, sometimes by exploiting students or researchers as “procurement agents and intermediaries.” Months later, at a December defence expo in Egypt, some US firms spotted what they viewed as Chinese spin-offs of their automated systems.

How did Espstein acquire so much wealth? How did GHWB acquire so much power? Little St. James Island, and at least one California Beach house. That’s how.

Palmer National co-founder Stefan Halper helped set up North’s legal defense fund. Halper’s name appears in the final entry of North’s White House journal under the heading, “Legal Defense Fund.”

Palmer National held a $250,000 note on a California beach house that was used by organized crime associates and figured in the criminal convictions of two S&L figures.

Palmer National, a relatively small bank with assets under $100 million, occupies a modern building at 1667 K St. N.W….

…….

…Dixon is not believed to be a suspect in the case, however investigators say he purchased the services of 20 call girls, including victim Donna Gentile, for a party at his Solana Beach, Calif., the San Diego Union reported. The nude body of Gentile — her mouth stuffed with rocks — was found the day after the two-day party concluded, sources told the newspaper….

Yes, that Stefan Halper.

Stefan A. Halper, the FBI source who assisted the Russia investigation and is at the center of a standoff between congressional Republicans and the Justice Department, is a well-connected veteran of past GOP administrations who convened senior intelligence officials for seminars at the University of Cambridge in England.

In the summer and fall of 2016, Halper, then an emeritus professor at Cambridge, contacted three Trump campaign advisers for brief talks and meetings that largely centered on foreign policy, The Washington Post reported last week.

Stefan Halper Fun Fact – Stefan Halper’s father-in-law was Ray S. Cline, former CIA Deputy Director 1962 to 1966.

…Cline himself shows up in the novel, The Manchurian Candidate in 1958, as “John E. is Rey S. Kline”

or Johnny is Ray S. Cline, after decomposing the letters in what turns out to be a perfect anagram:

“John Yerkes Iselin” who was known as Johnny. So from 1948 to 1988 Cline and Johnson were closely

associated with each other across the globe. Was Johnson a programmed assassin or just a good killer?

Probably a little bit of both.

Cline was also in Taiwan when Oswald was there and in the Phillipines when Benito Aquino was murdered

according to a career State Dept. employee in the family. Did Cline turn into a contract killer just for the money?

Or were some or all of these campaigns done under the auspices of and with the approval of the CIA? Cline

certainly was one of the shadiest and most secretive characters ever to have lived. He took over the spot once

reserved for James J. Angleton….

Fundraiser aims to build tunnels under Trump’s border wall

A fundraising page has been launched to buy shovels to help tunnel diggers burrow a passage underneath President Donald Trump’s controversial wall along the US border with Mexico.
The GoFundMe campaign is aiming to raise a whopping $150 million in order to help immigrants crawl beneath the president’s proposed barrier.

The effort is a tongue-in-cheek response to the popular ‘We The People Will Fund the Wall’ campaign which has crowdfunded more than $18 million to help Trump get some of the $5 billion he needs to proceed with the build. Another GoFundMe campaign to purchase ‘Ladders to Get Over Trump’s Wall’ raised more than $156,000.

“o the thousands of people raising money for a wall…..I’m raising money to supply tunnel builders with shovels,” wrote Rigo Torres, the creator of the latest fundraising drive. “I’m sure we won’t need the $150,000,000 but in all reality who gives a s***…let’s see how much I can raise.”
Torres said any money actually raised through the campaign will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union, who will in turn “defend the rights of immigrant families and fight until they are reunited”.

The campaign has so far raised just over $4,900 from 309 donations in nine days – substantially less than the $4 million the ‘We The People..’ campaign raised in its first three days.

More than 300,000 backers – some of which have given fake names like ‘Barack Obama’ and ‘Hillary Clinton’ – donated to the wall-building cause, raising a total $18,240,463, an impressive amount but still a far cry from their goal of $1 billion.
"Democrats are going to stall this project by every means possible and play political games to ensure President Trump doesn’t get his victor,” wrote Brian Kolfage, who set up the GoFundMe page.

“They'd rather see President Trump fail, than see America succeed. However, if we can fund a large portion of this wall, it will jumpstart things and will be less money Trump has to secure from our politicians.”

The government is in the midst of a partial shutdown over Trump’s demand for an additional $5.7 billion to fund the wall - which he previously claimed would be paid for by Mexico.

flashback — Clinton Email: We Must Destroy Syria For Israel

A leaked Hillary Clinton email confirms that the Obama administration, with Hillary at the helm, orchestrated a civil war in Syria to benefit Israel.

The new Wikileaks release shows the then Secretary of State ordering a war in Syria in order to overthrow the government and oust President Assad, claiming it was the “best way to help Israel”.

Newobserveronline.com reports:

The document was one of many unclassified by the US Department of State under case number F-2014-20439, Doc No. C05794498, following the uproar over Clinton’s private email server kept at her house while she served as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013.

Although the Wikileaks transcript dates the email as December 31, 2000, this is an error on their part, as the contents of the email (in particular the reference to May 2012 talks between Iran and the west over its nuclear program in Istanbul) show that the email was in fact sent on December 31, 2012

Dallas Morning News picks Laura Bush as 'Texan of the Year'

DALLAS - The editorial board of The Dallas Morning News has picked former first lady Laura Bush as the newspaper's "Texan of the Year" in part for speaking out against child separation at the border.

The newspaper on Sunday said Bush wrote "one of the most consequential op-eds of the year" when she published a Father's Day column calling the Trump's administration's zero-tolerance immigration policy "cruel" and "immoral."

The policy led to nearly 3,000 children being separated from their families.

Bush told the editorial board she saw it as a time when her voice could make a difference. The board said Bush told them she had also considered calling the Homeland Security secretary.

The newspaper had earlier named the U.S. Border Patrol agent as one of the finalists for the recognition.

Deep State FBI Is Examining Trump Golf Club’s Employment Records

The Deep State Harassment Never Stops–

It’s time to shut down the FBI and start over. It’s become too corrupt and is now a branch of the Democrat Party acting like a criminal gang against US conservatives.

The Deep State FBI is now investigating President Trump’s golf resort in New Jersey.

Earlier this month illegal alien Victorina Morales came forward and told reporters she worked at the Trump National Golf Course for several years making several times the amount of money she once made shucking corn in Central America.

Morales lied to her employees about her legal status to get the job. She complained that Trump was mean and forced her to wear a US flag pin.

The Trump organization says if she used fraudulent documents to get a job she will be terminated immediately.

Now the FBI is harassing employees at Trump properties.

The FBI is a mob.

SFGate reported:

Federal and state investigators are scrutinizing the employment documents of immigrants without legal status who allegedly worked at President Donald Trump’s golf club in New Jersey, according to their attorney.

Anibal Romero, a Newark attorney who represents five undocumented immigrants who say they worked at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, said in an interview Saturday that he met with investigators from the New Jersey state attorney general’s office and two FBI agents in November, before the workers began to go public with their stories.

Romero said he turned over fake green cards and Social Security numbers that supervisors at the golf club allegedly gave one of his clients, Victorina Morales, a 44-year-old Guatemalan national. He also gave investigators the pay stubs of Sandra Diaz, a Costa Rican native who now has legal status but said she was undocumented when she worked at the club for three years.

The FBI agents told him they would “coordinate” with the New Jersey state attorney general’s office, Romero said.

The materials collected by law enforcement agencies, first reported by the New York Daily News, indicate that investigators may be launching a probe into the hiring practices of the president’s golf club.

Lindsey Graham: Obama’s Excuse for Iraq Troop Pullout ‘Is a Bunch of Bullsh-t’

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called former President Barack Obama’s reasons for pulling U.S. troop out of Iraq in 2011 “a bunch of bullshit.”

Partial transcript as follows:

BASH: If ISIS reconstitutes itself after the U.S. leaves, does President Trump bear responsibility?

GRAHAM: Number one, everything we’re dealing with today falls on Obama’s watch. He is the one who withdrew from Iraq in 2011 —

BASH: He did it because there was the forces agreement in Iraq, right?

GRAHAM: No. That’s a bunch of bullshit. Pardon my French. That’s an absolute lie. Obama wanted to get to zero. He got to zero. In 2011 I said I hope the president is right but I fear this decision will come back to haunt us. ISIS came about as a result to withdrawal from Iraq.

French media ‘spreads fake news’ about number of yellow vest protesters, portraying them as fewer

French yellow vest protesters have turned against mainstream media in the country accusing them of spreading fake news about the size of the movement.

While protesting for the seventh Saturday in a row, this time the yellow vests also targeted mainstream media headquarters.

Especially targeting broadcaster BFM TV, as it was accused of spreading fake news about the size of the yellow vest movement’s protests.

More than 300 yellow vests gathered this Saturday morning in front of the main entrance of BFM TV where the offices of tabloid L’Express are also located.

“Journalists Collaborators”, chanted the protesters. “The journalists are here now! You will have to answer for your actions, your lies!” shouted a spokesperson with a megaphone, before singing the French national anthem.

President Trump orders pay freeze for federal workers for 2019

Thousands of federal workers in the Dayton region might not get a raise after President Donald Trump ordered a pay freeze.

Trump’s executive order to freeze federal employee salary rates comes after previously saying there should not be a pay increase. The pay increases would have happened by default if he had not issued the executive order, according to Washington Post.

There are more than 12,000 federal civilian workers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and over 15,000 in the Dayton region.

Trump said earlier this year that the move is needed to deal with rising federal deficits for 2019.

“We must maintain efforts to put our Nation on a fiscally sustainable course,” Trump previously stated in a letter to the House and Senate. “I view the increases that would otherwise take effect as inappropriate.”

Local Congressman Mike Turner, whose district includes Wright-Patt, had called the president’s statement “shortsighted” and said Congress needs to “ensure a competitive pay scale” for federal employees.

Congress could still pass legislation that would enact pay raises.

The Office of Personnel Management says employees would remain eligible for raises in 2019, as they were from 2011 to 2013, through promotion or advancing up pay grades.

Members of the military will not be impacted and are set for a 2.6 percent pay increase.

Japan and China considering holding high-level economic dialogue in spring

The Japanese and Chinese governments are considering holding a high-level economic dialogue, possibly in the spring, in China to discuss trade and investment issues, sources close to the matter said Sunday.

Through the ministerial talks, the countries will aim to improve ties based on a “new era” of relations that they agreed to establish during a meeting in Beijing in October between Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The sources said China is hoping to promote ties with Japan amid U.S.-China trade friction.

If held, it will be the fifth such dialogue between Japan and China, with the last one taking place in Tokyo in April.

In a meeting in October, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang told Abe that he hopes to achieve “win-win outcomes” by developing ties in a stable manner, especially through economic and trade cooperation.

Tokyo and Beijing are expected to discuss ways to promote free trade and maintain the multilateral trading system at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump is pursuing “America First” policies.

The two countries will also discuss cooperation on advanced technologies.

The other agenda items will include cooperation on infrastructure development in third countries while taking into account their fiscal health.

Japan could potentially ask China to correct unfair trade practices such as subsidies to state-owned companies and violations of intellectual property rights.

According to the sources, China sounded out Japan about holding the dialogue at an early date. The meeting is expected to be held after the National People’s Congress in China starting on March 5 and following Diet deliberations on the budget for the fiscal year starting April 1.

The dialogue will be chaired by Foreign Minister Taro Kono and his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. Economic Revitalization Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and industry minister Hiroshige Seko will be among Japanese members participating in the dialogue.

Regarding a visit to Japan next year, Xi told Abe during their October talks in Beijing that he will “seriously” consider his first trip to the country since taking office.

U.S. judge dismisses suit versus Google over facial recognition software

(Reuters) - A lawsuit filed against Google by consumers who claimed the search engine’s photo sharing and storage service violated their privacy was dismissed on Saturday by a U.S. judge who cited a lack of “concrete injuries.” U.S. District Judge Edmond Chang in Chicago granted a Google motion for summary judgment, saying the court lacked “subject matter jurisdiction because plaintiffs have not suffered concrete injuries.”

The suit, filed in March 2016, alleged Alphabet Inc’s Google violated Illinois state law by collecting and storing biometric data from people’s photographs using facial recognition software without their permission through its Google Photos service. Plaintiffs had sought more than $5 million collectively for the “hundreds of thousands” of state residents affected, according to court documents. Plaintiffs had asked the court for $5,000 for each intentional violation of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, or $1,000 for every negligent violation, court documents said.

Attorneys for the plaintiffs as well as officials with Google could not immediately be reached to comment. Google had argued in court documents that the plaintiffs were not entitled to money or injunctive relief because they had suffered no harm.

The case is Rivera v Google, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, No. 16-02714.

Seriously guys, its not like anything can be done about this now. The genie is already out of the bottle and we're currently living in a 1984 world. Try to do the best you can to protect your privacy knowing that although even if you don't own a computer, smartphone tablet, other people do and they take pictures all the time, sometimes of you!

We're all already in Big Brother's database!!
