Good call CrAcKeR. Nick was one of my favorite fighters....looks like he may come put of retirement and fight soon
To your point: this is one Nicks best performances, and trash talking ... everyone gets a laugh when the referee tells him no talking and the commentator says "no talking I didn't know that was a rule"
I think trash talking in MMA is unbecoming. Martial arts teaches people to be humble.

I agree but it really depends on the fighters. Watching Conor McGregor mentally destroy his opponent before stepping in the ring is truly an art in and of itself ..
Personally I don't like the UFC's dark, Harley-Davidson style and much prefer the older more traditional approach from Pride , Pancrase etc. There instead of drunk low IQ WWE style fans screaming and booing, the Japanese audience would be shockingly quiet.
Heres a glimpse at the old Pancreas era.
Bas Rutten is the dutch commentator in the Gracie Demo vid above. One of the most respected guys in MA.
In Pancreas there were no closed fists allowed to the head. (In ancient times combatants didn't strike to the head.)
In Pride Fighting there were no elbows allowed when your opponent was on the ground you could stomp on their head with your foot or soccer kick them in the face.
In the new unified rules that the UFC and other organizations use you're allowed to Elbow your opponent but not in a 12 to 6 trajectory, but you can not need or kick to the head of an opponent who is technically grounded.
The basic structure of the rules was that in Japan they were adverse to seeing blood and since elbows easily cut, those were forbidden. The 12 to 6 elbow rule as John McCarthy explains it, was put into place because the people originally making the rules had seen a video of martial arts demonstrators breaking bricks using that so they implemented the rule!
Lastly, mixed martial arts as violent as it may look is still much safer than boxing or football especially in terms of the head injuries and CTE.

i have never met them , can’t say if I’d like them or not but one thing for sure , they are definitely entertaining eh.....there courage and fierce competitiveness in the cage is remarkable

Anyway he so fast with balance he uses moves like NEO from the matrix. Twice in the same fight

So speaking of talking and MMA, with the new restrictions in the lack of a crowd you can really hear the fighter's corner's instructions.

I’m impressed with this Kevin Holland kid. I think he can tie his shoes without bending over.
He’s got a mouth that doesn’t quit. Even too much for Dana, who when no one else would sign up to fight Jacare, said call that mouth kid.
What he did to grand master Jacare Souza was pretty epic. And he was talking to him the whole time. I kind of like the no crowd fights where you can hear the fighters and the corners. Knocked him out from the bottom
