Sadly the dems are predicted to take control of the US political system just as they have done in NY and CA. A conservative SCOTUS is the last line of hope for America to survive.
This is SOP though

1) declare that the public is hugely against the conservatives
2) beat the drum using the dem MSM
3) try to convince the swing voter that is only marginally “plugged in” that “everyone” is voting Demonrat
4) as the election approaches begin to temper expectations
5) cry like a bitch on election night when wishful thinking meets reality

Remember Hillary had a 98%+ chance of winning and got blown out 227 to 304

Only the Dems are predicting this. I have serious doubts that they have nearly as much support as they think (or hope) they have. This isn't our Daddy's politics we're witnessing here these days. Sit back and enjoy the ride! Long live the GEOTUS-God Emperor Trump!

If that should happen, it would only serve to show just how critical it was that the hag not get elected. Had that happened, it'd be over. The SC wouda been packed with libs.

More than half the Repukes are closet Democrats. That alone explains why nothing is getting done unless Trump does it! Thankfully Trump gets to carry a phone and a pen too!

Word circulating now is that the intent of the dems is exactly that,
they plan on winning majority in congress, then use that leverage to increase the number of SC Justices to whatever is necessary to create a lib majority

I hadn't thought of that, nor know if it is possible to do it without major legislation

FDR tried that in 1937 and failed with the Judicial Procedures Reform Bill. He wanted the number of SCOTUS jurist to be 15. It cost FDR dearly since even his most ardent supporters realized that the bill was an overt overreach. What gets me is why the Democrats after taking a beating over this are willing to try it again, most recently in 1968 the Democrats tried to resurrect it but thankfully it died a quiet death.

is the walkaway movement really a leaving the dem party and not necessarily a moving to repub side?

where many many of them are Sanders types and just looking for a home, or will create a home?

are we seeing the beginnings of a socialist party?

for now, I get it, some will move to the repub side, but longer term?

Longer term the snowflakes grow up, get jobs and start paying taxes. Once they do this they realize the socialist programs they all wanted have to be paid for by themselves. Thats when they become more conservative.

I am beginning to think PDJT has saboteurs high up in the demonrat party. There isn't any question the demonrats have traitors at the highest levels in the repub-capitulation party.

So far the demonrats think they are going to win the mid term elections running on no borders, abolishing ICE,, raising taxes, banning guns and free shit for all brown people who don't speak english even when their own polls show 70% want none of that?

That's not making any sense man.

Reuters Poll: Young White Americans Flee Democrat Party in Droves Since Trump’s Election
7370

Evan Vucci/AP3 Jul 2018Washington, D.C.2,829
Young white Americans are fleeing the Democrat Party en masse following the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, a new poll reveals.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters between the ages 18 to 34 over the course of the last three months of 2018. This same poll was conducted in 2016 around the same time period.

Young white Americans, in 2016, favored Democrats over Republicans in 2016 by a 47 to 33 percent margin. Since Trump’s election — and his booming economy which has secured high-paying jobs and record job opportunities — young white Americans’ favoritism for Democrats has disappeared.

Today, 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Republicans, while another 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Democrats.

Reuters/Ipsos Poll

Overall, the poll revealed that Democrats are losing young Americans in general. For example, before Trump’s election, 55 percent of young Americans said they favored Democrats over Republicans. Today, that margin is down to only 46 percent of young Americans who are still loyal to Democrats.

Key to Trump’s election was the issue of mass illegal and legal immigration, wherein the United States admits more than 1.5 million immigrants every year. As Breitbart Newsreported, a majority of white Americans say immigration to the U.S. has made life in America “worse.”
The Reuters poll also comes as the Democratic Party is increasingly built on a platform of open borders in the hopes of diversifying the American electorate to dramatically change the direction of the country.

Overall, the U.S. is on track to bring in about 15 million new foreign born voters in the next 20 years, as the country continues admitting more than one million legal immigrants every year, as Breitbart News noted. This booming foreign born population is likely to handelectoral dominance over to Democrats.

Young White Men Abandon Democrats, Flock to Trump’s Economic Nationalism
70

Brynn Anderson/AP3 Jul 2018Washington, D.C.135

President Trump’s reshaping of the GOP from being aligned to the Chamber of Commerce to a party serving the interests of America’s working and middle class is winning over young white American men en masse.

Ahead of Trump’s election to the presidency in 2016, nearly 50 percent of young white men favored Democrats, and 36 percent favored the GOP. That 14-point gain has flipped, and young white men now favor the GOP over the Democrats by 46 percent to 37 percent.
At the time, the GOP was aligned with the big business lobby and Wall Street in promoting endless multinational free trade that readily outsourced American jobs to foreign countries.

The Republican establishment, in 2016, was pushing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which would have eliminated millions of working and middle-class jobs while also driving down wages for remaining American workers.
That year, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) rebuked Trump’s economic nationalist trade agenda at a gathering with the pro-mass immigration GOP megadonor billionaire Koch brothers.

GOP leaders were also consistently pushing back against Trump’s economic nationalism on immigration in 2016, when he campaigned to reduce immigration to the U.S. and build a border wall to boost Americans’ wages and quality of life.

Since his election though, Trump has transformed the Republican Party into one based on the interests of American workers, rather than big business donors. That successful transformation has translated into a winning streak among young white American men.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll reveals that 46 percent of young white men now favor the Republicans over Democrats, a near complete switch from where the demographic group stood just two years ago when the GOP was still led by free traders and open borders advocates.

Reuters/Ipsos Poll

Likewise, in just two years, Trump has changed the platform of the Republican Party. No longer do Americans identify the GOP with the big business lobby’s preference for multinational free trade that outsources American jobs.

The latest Harvard/Harris polling finds that a majority of 56 percent of American voters say they associate tariffs on imported steel and aluminum with the Republican Party. Less than ten percent of voters said they associated tariffs on imported goods with the Democrats.
With immigration — whereas party leaders once talked tough on illegal immigration as they favored the big business lobby’s mass legal immigration, cheap labor economy — Trump has single-handedly shaped a GOP that is now associated with reducing immigration to benefit American citizens.

In the newest CBS News/YouGov poll, about 42 percent of American voters in battleground districts associate the Republican Party with Trump’s selective, reduction approach to immigration.
Trump’s shifting of the GOP has also made more clear to voters where the Democrats fall on the issue of immigration. The same CBS/YouGov poll found that 47 percent of voters in battleground districts said the Democrats’ approach to immigration is essentially open borders, where all foreign nationals seeking admittance to the U.S. are allowed to enter and compete for American jobs against workers.
White Americans increasingly agree with Trump on immigration, with nearly 55 percent of white voters saying illegal immigration reduces U.S. wages.

Though Trump has quickly moved the GOP towards the popular, economic nationalist agenda that the majority of Republican voters support, he continues to have to fight the Republican-controlled Congress on the issues.

Last month, House Speaker Paul Ryan failed to pass an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens that would have resulted in zero net reduction to legal immigration levels, as Breitbart News noted.

Even more recently, Republican establishment congressmen and Senators are trying to fight Trump’s popular tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. In usual fashion, the Chamber of Commerce has marched in lockstep with the Republican establishment on Trump’s fair trade agenda, announcing this week that they will actively fight the steel and aluminum tariffs ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

And after a month of anti-ICE protests President Trump jumped 10 points with Hispanics!

I hate to point this out but we all have said at one time or another that polls don't mean shit and are pretty much always manipulated. Remember Clinton polling at 96% chance of winning the election? If some are bullshit we must think they all are if we are to remain objective. We can't cherry pick the ones we like simply because they align with our beliefs lest we become the dog being wagged by the tail! I don't know about you guys but my dog's been wagged enough!

I don't know about the quoted poll but .... there is a correct way to conduct polls. Some polls are more accurate than others merely because they do them correctly.

A blanket statement that says all polls are wrong is just as wrong as all the polls that said Hillary was going to win.

Just my two cents.

Never forget that Jim Jones was a buddy of Feinstein. Most likely it was someone associated with that sent word that a Congressman was on the way.

Jones panicked and the rest is another page in the Religion of Communism.

Out of the ashes of the demo party a new party will arise. Whatever it will be based on remains to be seen.

There is a depth of emotional pain that has yet to be fathomed by democrats which will deepen as leftist deep staters are openly arrested and prosecuted culminating in Oblahblah and Killary getting what's coming even if being tried in absentia or even a post mortem judgment. The depth of betrayal felt by the dems will scar many hearts and minds for life.

Many of the #Walkaways will drift from party to party...repukes, communist, socialist, green, libertarian and will still be dissatisfied with what they find. Some will will even withdraw from political life for a time. Those who remain political may just go independent. Whatever happens, the dem party will be dead and for at least a generation no suitable alternative party will exist for the scarred dems. There will be NO central leftist collective. Make no mistake! There will be numerous attempts to resurrect a centralized leftist party, perhaps even using the Democratic name. But they will be widely ineffective at putting asses in congressional seats.

In the meantime it will be necessary to sharpen tongues and focus action and skepticism against the repubs and especially their huge herd of RINOs. Backed up by a big fire under the feet of the allegedly loyal and upright republicans who have been gifted with a spine and balls of brass. Yes, conservatives WILL and SHOULD party hearty for a time after the swamp is drained and deep staters are flushed. We have indeed suffered long enough. Should also provide support for alternative media. I do not need or want a newspaper but I do want HONEST news that is REAL news and preferably through the interwebz and maybe broadcast on the electronic cyclops. Really, I still want the government out of my hair, off my back and out of my wallet. So Trump can get right to work shutting down /breaking up DHS, dismantling the CIA, FBI, NSA, "5 eyes" and any other unnecessary and illegal domestic spying infrastructure and laws. Ending the war on some drugs would be a great idea and getting rid of the medical/BIG Pharma complex along with heavily shrinking and controlling the MIC. If he's gonna wreck the deep state, then wreck it good!

One last thing, it's well past time to end federally controlled and funded public and college education. There's much I could say here but I'll spare y'all.

A little gas for the fire....

Here's some more statistics to be skeptical of:

The institutions Americans have the most and least confidence in

In this era of "fake news", trust is always being called into question, whether it's the content in the president's Twitter feed or the creepy notion that your Amazon Echo is listening in on your private conservations with sinister intentions. Even though "In God We Trust" is the official motto of the United States, distrust is rampant in 21st century America. When it comes to the nation's institutions which are bedrocks of the country, however, trust levels are remaining consistent.

Gallup recently polled U.S. adults about their confidence levels in 15 different societal institutions, finding only three had a majority-level of trust. Average confidence across the institutions has still remained consisent over the past three decades and all of them garner at least some trust. In 2018, the military remains the most trusted institution with 74 percent of Americans having some or quite a lot of confidence in it.

It comes as little surprise that small business is widely trusted given its importance to the community and it comes second with 67 percent. Even though the police has attracted criticism due to heavy-handed arrests and a spate of controversial shootings, it is the only other institution with majority trust at 54 percent. When it comes to the church and organized religion, trust levels stand at 38 percent while the presidency is close behind with 37 percent. Television news and Congress come last with just 20 and 11 percent trust among the public respectively.

Wow...Americans trust the banks more than public schools!!!!!!
Kind of like a forced situation since they have no other place to store their money which to many is more important than their children...the myths about getting rich and the rule of 7's and all.
