Luxembourg and France (and other countries, including the UK?) are under similar enforced curfews.
In France, depending on the region (number of Covid cases) you can't leave home between 6pm or 8pm until 6am the next morning unless you have a special pass with the correct box marked.
Medical personnel or emergency
Not much else.
I got lucky on January 2nd driving back from Sweden. Empty freeways, 95 mph through Germany with my fully loaded camper with the scooter on the carrier.
No border controls anywhere! Didn't get pulled over. Stopped after 800 miles at 3 am at the gas station in Luxembourg to buy my 1/4 price tobacco and found out that they had a curfew, so slept in the van until legal hour of 6am.
Stuck to the expensive toll roads for the remaining 700 miles home in France to "beat the clock".
