yeah, they took some real nasty shots at him,

and pelosi still saying he lied to them,
nadler saying he should be held in contempt
a whole mess of them wanting him to resign

for him, a target rich environment for sure
Its amazing to watch. The dems have absolutely NO SHAME.

Their behavior only makes sense if:

A) They are completly and totally ready for the coocoo house OR
B) They know the indictments are coming and all they are left with is trying to scratch and claw out of the corner they've made for themselves.

You would think at least one DEM senator would have the decency to treat Barr with respect. NOPE, I watched the whole thing and NADA.
Its going to be a hoot when the hammer falls in the next month or two.

Dem. Gov. Maine, Janet Mills, signed a bill into law that makes Columbus Day known as Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

My belief is this isn't about getting Barr to like them or not...it's about shaping public opinion for what's coming next. If they can get enough of the public to believe that Trump/Barr are in cahoots and obstructing Justice, then when the booms start falling those people will not believe what the swamp has been up to....they'll think it's just made up lies by Trump to cover his butt...and that he's being aided/abetted by Barr.

agreed, seems to me they are front running it, and clouding the waters,
so people will lump it all together and not hang the true transgressors

The longer the booms take to arrive the more time the left has to do just as you described! BTW, I don't believe in booms. I believe in action, which is still severely lacking. We'll just all sit and talk about what's coming, whatever and whenever that is!

That's not very smart. If they make this a law they wouldn't be able to elect the illegal aliens they love so much over there.

.
Wrong! Last week the head of IRS admitted that they encourage illegals to use stolen SS numbers in order to file.

This "law" will backfire though, because it opens the door of transparency to ALL the POTUS CANTidates.

Nancy Pelosi fears Trump won't leave White House if he loses 2020 election by small margin

https://www.yahoo.com/news/nancy-pelosi-fears-trump-wont-103700287.html

Donald Trump might not voluntarily leave the White House if the Democrats fail to win by “big” in 2020, House speaker Nancy Pelosi has suggested.

The US president could contest the result and refuse to give up power if her party’s candidate won by only a narrow margin, she said.

“We have to inoculate against that, we have to be prepared for that,” she told The New York Times, without revealing any legal or political strategy for dealing with the potential scenario.

She referred to similar worries she had in the lead up to the 2018 mid-term elections. “If we win by four seats, by a thousand votes each, he’s not going to respect the election,” she said, referring to Mr Trump.

She added: “He would poison the public mind. He would challenge each of the races; he would say you can’t seat these people.”

Ms Pelosi has been sharing her concerns about the possibility Mr Trump could dispute results of future elections with colleagues in recent weeks, the newspaper reported.

She said she believes the Democrats should “own the centre left, own the mainstream” during the 2020 campaign, as she remains resistant to launching impeachment proceedings against the president over the obstruction of justice case laid out in the Mueller report.

The leading Democrat has been reluctant to even discuss impeachment so far, taking a cautious, step-by-step strategy to her party’s standoff with the White House over obtaining testimony and documents.

Ms Pelosi did note this past week that obstructing Congress was one of the articles of impeachment against President Richard Nixon. “Impeachment is never off the table, but should we start there?” she said on Friday. “I don’t agree with that.”

Democrats are considering other options for dealing with Attorney General William Barr, the current focus of their ire, over his refusal to provide an unredacted version of the Mueller report.

Jerrold Nadler, the House Judiciary Committee chairman, has given Mr Barr a Monday deadline to comply with a subpoena demanding the full report, along with its underlying evidence, or face a contempt charge.

Mr Barr could face another subpoena to appear before Mr Nadler’s committee after skipping a hearing last week in a dispute over the rules for questioning him. Mr Nadler has also subpoenaed testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn.

Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke said he believed “there’s enough evidence now for the House of Representatives to move forward with impeachment”.

Fellow 2020 candidates Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris have already called for the president to be impeached.

High School Mulls Removing George Washington Murals Because They 'Traumatize' Students

https://www.dailywire.com/news/4668...tm_content=050519-news&utm_campaign=position1

A high school in Northern California — George Washington High School, to be specific — is mulling over a push to remove two 83-year-old murals from its hallways. Critics advocating for their removal say they are offensive to Native Americans and African-Americans. They say the pair of panels “traumatizes students and community members.”

A San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) working group says the murals should be removed and put in storage to protect the students.

"SFUSD convened a ‘Reflection and Action Working Group’ that was comprised of members of the local Native American community, students, school representatives, district representatives, local artists and historians," Laura Dudnick, spokeswoman for the district, wrote in an email to The College Fix. "At its conclusion the group voted and the majority recommended that the 'Life of Washington' mural be archived and removed because the mural does not represent SFUSD values," the letter continued.

"Two of the thirteen panels in the mural series have come under fire since the 1960’s for their controversial depictions of African-Americans and Native Americans," the Richmond District Blog writes.

In one mural, entitled “Mount Vernon”, George Washington appears to be in conversation with another Caucasian man who gestures towards a seated African-American man holding corn, presumably a slave. In other parts of the mural, African-Americans are engaged in acts of manual labor like hauling large bales of hay and picking cotton in the fields, while Caucasian men are also laboring at other tasks with tools. Washington’s servant, who is pictured holding his horse, is also African-American. The mural is a clear depiction of slavery in the United States, and of George Washington as a slave owner.

The second panel, entitled "Westward Vision," depicts Benjamin Franklin and other founding fathers looking at George Washington as he points off in the distance, while he points with his other hand to a map. On the right side of the mural, as if carrying out Washington’s call for westward expansion, frontiersmen, depicted in greyscale unlike other figures in the mural, stand over the dead body of a Native American man, signifying the genocide of Native American life and culture.

In the bottom right of the “Westward Vision” panel, a frontiersman and Native American chief sit at a campfire smoking a peace pipe. On the ground at the chief’s feet is a tomahawk, symbolizing the disarming of Native tribes. Directly above the Chief’s headdress is a broken tree limb representing broken treaties made by the U.S. government with Native Americans, and broken promises made by settlers.

Here's the irony, though. The murals were painted in 1936 by artist Victor Arnautoff, who was a protégé of Diego Rivera and a communist. "He included those images not to glorify Washington, but rather to provoke a nuanced evaluation of his legacy. The scene with the dead Native American, for instance, calls attention to the price of 'manifest destiny.' Arnautoff’s murals also portray the slaves with humanity and the several live Indians as vigorous and manly," The Wall Street Journal reports.

Historian Fergus M. Bordewich told The Fix that it is "a deeply wrongheaded habit to project today’s norms, values, ideals backwards in time to find our ancestors inevitably falling short."

"It betrays a very troubling intolerance of art and the ambiguity of art and the aspirations of art," he said. "It’s incredibly stupid if we try to erase history. It still happened, and you should argue about its meanings."

Is there a law that says all politicians must have appropriately "diverse" people in their bill-signing photo-ops?
