What happened to the line item veto? Seems like most lines should be veto'ed.
Would love to see the flow of funds out & back into the pockets that passed this mess.
A longer list than I would have guessed. Half of those people voted no for show. They knew it would pass without their votes. There are NO patriots in Congress, just rats!

That makes the most sense since both the left and the right hate Congress and would like nothing better than see them all gone. This is basically the only common ground both sides share!!
The supreme traitors ruled it not Constitutional of course.
The individual mandate...yeah that's Constitutional. Qualified immunity? ...yeah no problem, but the POTUS being able to block pork in spending bills?!? That shit's not allowed.
Does that matter, at this point? Most likely Trump never faces another election. Even if Bidet keeps his steal, Trump won't return. Partly because with the elections rigged, there's no point; and partly because the final collapse is not far off.
But even if he stays in, somehow...with three-quarters of actual voters voting for him...those three-quarters obviously know Fake Nooze. So let the agitators try to spin it...seems, plenty of people are tuning out.
There is no justification for doing anything OTHER than giving this a veto.
This $hit is really getting depressing. How did it come to be that an old thieving drunk like Pelosi got us all by the short hairs? Nowhere to run to nowhere to hide. Glad I don't have to live 50 years with what is coming down.
The exodus of some businesses and wealthy executives from California is not stopping some state lawmakers from supporting a wealth tax proposal in a state where Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom is being targeted for recall.
A wealth tax proposal that was pushed this year would have applied up to a 0.4% tax on the amount of a state resident's net worth over $30 million dollars. The proposed bill, AB 2088, would have made those who spent more than 60 days in California in a year subject to some level of the wealth tax.
The amount of the person's wealth subject to the tax would depend on the amount of time spent in the state during the prior ten years. And under the proposal, even leaving the state would not free the taxpayer of the burden, because anyone who had been subject to the tax in the preceding ten years would still be subject to some level of the state wealth tax for up to 10 years.
State Senate Minority Leader Shannon Grove during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast said that the proposal failed but that it "is coming back this year." According to Law360, state legislators adjourned without advancing the legislation.
Grove, a Republican, said state Democrats will "try to say that if you generate any revenue in the state...that they can track you down in whatever other state you go to and they can tax you California state taxes for ten years after you leave."
And while some state lawmakers support slapping wealthy individuals with a wealth tax, some Californians are backing a push to recall Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.
"Unaffordable housing. Record homelessness. Rising crime. Failing schools. Independent contractors thrown out of work. Exploding pension debt. And now, a locked down population while the prisons are emptied. Hold Gavin Newsom accountable. Gavin Newsom must go," a recall website declares.
It makes one wonder how valid California elections are and have been in years past. Year in and year out the insane legislation seems to be enacted with one goal in mind...bankrupting the state as rapidly as possible.

Undoubtedly true, but is it because a plurality of the people of Commiefornia wish it so? We've all known that US elections are rigged, but this past federal election should have everyone wondering how long, how widespread, and how aggressively such rigging has been implemented. Are the self-destructive policies being put in place in CA, IL, NY, for instance, really with the consent of the governed?
We usually just chalk it up to, welp Californians are very speshul...but are most California voters really all THAT different? ...or are their elections just moar fraudulent?

As an outsider, I can tell you, not only will I not spend any time in California...oh, sure, I don't want to see the feces-encrusted sidewalks of San Francisco; but I mean, ANYTHING there. Like Yosemite. Like, traveling through.
Because some kook bureaucrat can now take my credit-card record, find I parked my van at several California KOAs five days in a row...and so I'm suddenly a **RESIDENT** and subject to asset taxes and motor-vehicle fees.
This, in ADDITION to open encouragement of lawlessness on the streets, spreading from the coastal cities into the Imperial Valley and other regions. Nope...I did my Navy time in California; I have good memories of SF and San Diego; but now, I think of CA like we used to think of Mexico. A good place to get robbed and killed...and, unlike with Mexico, likely to be pursued by the authorities, for the Social Crime of actually having assets.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a news conference Wednesday that authorities will follow up with travelers coming into the city from the UK to ensure they are quarantining.
The measure comes in the wake of a new and fast-spreading coronavirus strain, which some officials said might already be in the US.
"Specifically those coming from the UK given that particular concern, we're going to have sheriff's deputies go to the home or the hotel of every single traveler coming in from the U.K," Mayor de Blasio said.
Travelers who violate the mandatory quarantine order will be penalized and could receive a $1,000 fine, he said.

New York City's Mayor Bill de Blasio said authorities will go to the doors of those that are traveling from the United Kingdom to ensure that they are isolating in wake of the new rapid strain of coronavirus that is spreading rapidly in London.
"For folks coming in from the United Kingdom, we will have a new approach given this new strain that we're seeing there," Mayor de Blasio said in a press conference on Wednesday. "Effective immediately all travelers, literally every single traveler coming in from the United Kingdom, will receive a Department of Health Commissioner's Order directing them to quarantine."
In addition, de Blasio said the quarantine order would be applied to all travelers, not just those arriving from the United Kingdom. According to the New York state COVID-19 travel advisory, travelers who were out-of-state for more than 24 hours must get tested for coronavirus three days prior to their arrival and then quarantine for at least three days once they've arrived in New York. On the fourth day of their quarantine, the traveler has to get tested again and if both tests come back negative, "the traveler may exit quarantine early upon receipt of the second negative diagnostic test."
"But specifically for folks coming in from the UK given that particular concern," de Blasio said Wednesday, "we're going to have sheriff's deputies go to the home or the hotel of every single traveler coming in from the UK."
The order comes after a new highly transmissible strain of coronavirus that could be up to 70% more transmissible than previous variants was discovered in the UK. The new strain has prompted a wave of lockdown measures and border closures. A
growing number of countries including Italy, France, Ireland, and Germany have restricted travel from the UK while the US has not.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said he "would not be surprised" if the strain has already hit the United States earlier this week.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday said New York state health officials are requesting hospitals test for the new strain.
"Chances are, if it's been moving globally, it came here," Cuomo said, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. "If it's here we want to know it-we want to isolate it immediately."
Travelers to New York City from the UK who violate the mandatory quarantine order will be fined, de Blasio said.
"To everyone... if you don't comply with the quarantine that's a $1,000 fine to begin. If you continue not to comply with the quarantine it's $1,000 for each additional day," de Blasio said.
According to John Hopkins University, there have been 866,765 cases and 36,724 COVID-19 deaths in New York since the start of the pandemic.
