Ggsm, text book otc stock you want, waking from dormancy, great relative share structure, with no dilution occurring, and company active with easily verifiable timeline, and updates/filings pending.

This obvious retail panic yesterday, irrelevant to the bigger picture

Breakout line has been tested.

[Or is being tested, is more accurate.]

Gotta tell ya...this stock you keep pushing really rubs me the wrong way...

Its not that its a penny stock...surely there are plenty of those...and its not even that the price action is technically friendly...

Its that this company - that you are putting your credibility on the line for...is one of 2 things...

1. Incompentent. Explain to me why I should trust a company that isnt capable of even doing a minimal level of due diligence on their "sales guy" to validate that his degree is even legit. Spoiler: its NOT. Its fake. Its a fraud. This same guy is posting pictures that are supposed to represent some amazing rock....stock full of material that is valuable...Buy...buy...buy....

If a company cant even vet their employees...why should any investor trust their management in anything more consequential than that?

2. Fraudulent. If the company isnt incompetent - and put the guy in position KNOWING his resume was a fraud...well - then there you go...

So which is it? Are they incompetent or a fraud?

And the stock price has ZERO to do with the answer to my question as penny stocks are so easy to manipulate...in fact - they have come up with a name for stuff like that... its called PUMP and DUMP...

Having said all that...you may very well be right that the share price is going higher and higher and higher...and I am sure there are folks that wont care a whit about the company...as long as the price goes up - thats all that matters...as long as they can sell their shares for a profit to a greater fool...

But whats gonna happen is that there are gonna be some poor schlubs that join the party late in the game...simple people just trying to make their life better...and they are gonna put their trust in internet gurus like yourself...and they are gonna get burned. Badly.

Now - most folks will simply shrug it off and opine that they should have done their due diligence....

Buyer beware and all that...

I look at it differently...individual people are either part of the problem...or they are part of the solution...

You are a very talented individual Louky. You have demonstrated your skills...and they are impressive.

You are above the need to push a company (I am being loose with the word) that is either incompetent or fraudulent.

All voices heard. No monopoly on truth. Buyer beware.

everyone thinks that they are the good guys and the other guys are the bad guys. Everyone.

peace and prosperity and a modicum of tolerance is what I would prefer. if that makes me a bad guy read the post over again.

I‘m foolish thinking this might improve the conversation. Flipped the coin.

[It’s ridiculous.]

I respect you all. Peace out.

@louky may be GGSM needs it's own thread if you want to focus on it to this degree. Maybe just put links to it here when you hit significant milestone events. Broader focus stuff is more in line with my idea of the Fringe.

Strawboss,
The way I look at it is that in the last gold bull, many inceompetant miners made some nice moves when the heat turned on. If memory serves me correct, many of the bad miners gave you the biggest returns.

Zed,
I would like to have a pet kangaroo. Do you know if it’s legal to ship those out of the country? This is actually a serious question.

I have no idea really but...

It's probably possible, they are in plague proportions in some parts down here so I can't see that we'd get precious about losing one or two BUT you may have major issues @ your end and I bet that the shipping and paperwork requirements are onerous.

... and he still lost the battle with himself and most of his 'wealth'...

Wikipedia said:
Suicide
On November 28, 1940, just after 5:30 pm, Livermore fatally shot himself with an Automatic Colt Pistol in the cloakroom of The Sherry-Netherland hotel in Manhattan, where he usually had cocktails. Police found a suicide note of 8 small handwritten pages in Livermore's personal, leather-bound notebook.[7][13] The note was addressed to Livermore's wife, Harriet (whom Livermore nicknamed "Nina"), and it read, "My dear Nina: Can't help it. Things have been bad with me. I am tired of fighting. Can't carry on any longer. This is the only way out. I am unworthy of your love. I am a failure. I am truly sorry, but this is the only way out for me. Love Laurie".[9]

There is speculation and then there is investment.

There is trading and then there is gambling.

If you don't understand the differences you are speculating and gambling.

I'm not sure if your quotation needs some work, or I need some work.

I'm speculating, not investing. I'm trading, but not gambling because I know I have an edge. Hmmm... I don't have a problem with speculating and trading.

[Not quarreling, just saying.] [Can you reword it so I'm a good guy again? :) ]

Gambling is binary, win/lose 100%, when trading you use risk control... it isn't win/lose 100%, it is win a variable % verses lose a small % using a system that gives you a statistical advantage. Trading would be banned in a casino, card counting etc.

Investment is designed to deliver income, speculation is designed to deliver capital gain. Investments often make sense despite a draw down in notional value because of the income component.

Investment isn't trading because the motivation and goals differ, the logic that drives a sell or buy is radically different.

Speculation isn't trading because it lacks a methodology and frame work designed to protect you over time.

This is my cockeyed view of the world.

I have friends that think less of me because of what I do. They call it gambling, they think it requires no true effort, they have no understanding of capital formation and the role it plays in a the creation of the very jobs that they have, they think it is easy.... but they can't do it. They have no idea and only opinions based on a complete misunderstanding of the economic system that feeds them. Of course it is all ligit when a 'professional' does it on their behalf in their retirement funds, but when I kick their returns to the curb it is all wrong and its people like me that are destroying the world! After 25 years or so of doing this, including three broad market crashes, I'm still alive and kicking... yet I'm just lucky and lazy. Go figure.

I've never envied anyone with more than I have, I don't really understand the emotion. Slowly over the last ten years or so I've realized that a massive part of society is driven by this one emotion, and there I was clueless. Middle class socialists always confused me, they seemed to be fighting there own best interests in most cases... then, one day I read ---> It's not that they care for the poor it's that they envy everyone with more than they have and want to use the system to drag them down to their level. In that moment it hit me... yes, that explains a huge number of the people I know.

Society is fecked up, we need an attitude flush. I can't wait until these fuck heads have finished screwing with things then hopefully my son will be old enough to go into a sound productive business with me in a reasonable environment that is not driven by hot money.

I think I might be more than a little angry with these idiots, I don't want to see what is going to happen around me over the next few years yet there is no choice.

Thanks all... it's cheaper than seeing a shrink as I am notoriously mean with my $!

Do you use a fundamental filter?

Way back when I reduced the universe of stocks I searched on the basis of their financials. It helped me reduce those types of stocks that could 'shock and drop' smashing through prudent stop levels without opportunity to exit. Might not be such an issue in a bigger market such as the US.
