‘Supply is growing 2% a year and demand is growing faster. That’s all you really need to know, and that means it’s going higher:’ Mille
With the physical take off in gold you can make exactly the same statement, yet it's all about BTC.

‘I don’t think this is a bubble at all in bitcoin…this is ‘the beginning of a mainstreaming of it’ says stock-market pro Bill Miller

only thing Miller left out was when the 21 million Bitcoins are mined , that’s it , supply dries up and but not the demand

I understand that quite a few were lost and can never be found. I think I read that as many as 4 million coins will never be found.

Short term breakout in Silver next level 28. Bitcoin is up over 15 times off the March 2020 bottom. Silver a bit more than a double. Let me see...

COIN listing marked at least a local top. They name a day after a Shitcoin. NTF went to the moon. Is there a pattern here? Seems like less downside risk over the long term for the pm complex but I could be wrong.

It really looks like a significant top is in place here, could end up @ 10K if it's history is a guide. Momentum is waning at this point. Do we rotate into gold now? Or are they aligned? Hard to make that case given recent history.

Driest I've ever seen it around here.

Drought in Taiwan is threatening to exacerbate the semiconductor storage.

Imagine how dumb you feel if you lost a few thousand bitcoins. The ultimate fish that got away.

I don't think Bitcoin and Gold are that closely aligned.

No more than a position in CCJ or F is really. You buy this or you buy that.
But if you're looking for discrete, fungible anonymity there are few options.

I don't like the fact this whole thing was created by ?. It is being sold as the people's money not so sure I buy that. TPTB are in control until they aren't. Who is to say this isn't a creation of the power elite and will come crashing down once they decide to break it?

From a trading perspective this is true.
...It is being sold as the people's money...
If this is true then there are few competitors- gold being the most obvious.
TPTB are in control until they aren't. Who is to say this isn't a creation of the power elite and will come crashing down once they decide to break it?
Sounds like we get it. For those who don't, this book is highly recommended.

OR, if you get out of line and your coin disappears.

Buy the fear. If the up trend in pm is real we should see no more than 2 down days in a row.

RSI is the only bullish thing on this Bitcoin chart. 50 goes and mid 45 opens.

45500 would be a 30% correction and near an important moving average. Shit happens. But.. :tex:

GBTC Premium/Discount Calculator

I read something the other day that tried to explain away the BTC plunge this weekend to the Chinamen shutting down the miners. I can't wrap my head around that and who cares? How would less supply result in lower prices or even cause these guys to sell?

IF you have a portion of your portfolio that you don't mind taking short profit this might be worth a look. Buy Hecla now around $6.30 sell January 2021 $7 calls for $1.05. Stock gets called away you get $700. Your cost $525. That's like over over 30% annualized. Last major bottom was $4.38. Obviously this limits the upside on this money but surely you are naked long elsewhere.

I thought BTC worked no matter where you were on the Globe?

As long as you have your 'wallet' and a computer you can use it... right?

No, it's like cash. You can have it in your possession or you can have it on deposit @ a broker ready to trade or bank or where ever. They closed the broker and took the cash.

Crypto Fear/Greed at 55 so a buy point is approaching. Buy when your ballz are in your throat.
