At this point anyone with half a brain cell realizes the vaccines don't do anything good. Sorry don't mean to trigger anyone but if you are vaxxed and I am not I should not be a threat to you right? Anyway. So what's the end game if they can't get this poison in you with the threat of a flu? Smallpox. Now you would think about getting a smallpox vaxx wouldn't ya?

Firm lower low in GDX and GDXJ. It's starting to look like a slip-n-slide in the mining shares.
Yeah Jelly, I been trying to find the bottom of SILJ.
but of course every time I buy, it drops.
I swear I could buy every dip down to $0.50 cents and it would still fall some more.

Alternate view. Gold in Australian dollars is still in a bullish position.

Recent supports in SILJ and MTA getting close. Silver support from what I can see is obviously 21.4-22.00. The breakout was around 19 so if we fail to hold supports around 21ish we might see a retest of the breakout. Tough to gauge sentiment right now. Currently flat pm.

If the miners break the early October lows I wouldn't go near them.

It seems like everyone is giving up on the miners right now. What looked like a clear and strong breakout just a couple weeks ago has turned into everyone dumping shares. Atleast I have put options for protection.

My cash isn't sinking.

I wonder why Dpong said he was 0% miners? What does he know that we don't? :p

SILJ looking to put in a multi-year low if this double bottom doesn't hold. I just learned about trailing stops on a buy. Might put in a bid with 7% trailing stop.
That would mean a buy at $12.75, assuming this is the legit bottom. Any thoughts or criticisms?

SILJ 11.40 last bottom then 10.28. No rush to buy here. Look good to you? I would wait for more tax selling for short term swings to buy.

So the Crash of April 2020 was driven by global panic over Covid. Current narrative can go one of two ways:

Omicron is pumped and hyped by the MSM as the most dangerous wave yet. Idiots believe this and global trade shuts down just before christmas. Market negative. Metals crash.

Omicron turns out not to be such a bad variant and the markets stay positive. People pump hard into USD, TSLA, AAPL, GME, etc and the metals suffer. Market positive so metals crash.

There's no way out of this. Feels like a repeat of April 2020. I'm getting the itch to cash out soon. Only thing I will invest in is Volatility index.
Being a gold bug is tough man....

Congress passes bill to fund govt. Yet some not mentioning names said they would not do it this time. Same people who said Trump wouldn't leave the WH.

Got spooked, did not enter.
Entered oversold territory on the daily, not on the weekly.
Hope for a double bottom off the 200 week? If not... :surrender:
Hard to believe after two years of non-stop money printing and cheap debt miners are worth the same as before the pandemic.

Good news for those of us that couldn’t buy 2 years ago. If we hit April 2020 levels, I’ll be sad and happy at once.

That's the point I was trying to make in September/October. We are getting to pre-pandemic prices in the mining shares despite much higher metals prices. Meaning valuations are at record lows. I don't know when these things will bottom and turn around, but I strongly believe the next move higher is going to be killer because investors are not currently taking gold miners seriously. When they do take the miners seriously, there's going to be huge demand flowing into these things. People smarter than me are predicting bitcoin-style percentage gains in the mining shares on the next wave higher, and I think they will be correct.
Now, until the turn happens, someone tell us where its going to bottom...
Zed, Louky??

Exactly. I want a solid position in SILJ, GDXJ, REMX and URNM. But I’m afraid that I’ll cost average in, and still drop another 20%.
I didn’t think they would get this low already. Apparently they have more room to drop further.

You almost have to admire the ballz on this bitch walking around in public w/o a diaper on. But as we know neither a mask or a shot of God knows what would help you anyway. Nancy can out trade ya and is immune to the flu.
