Look bullish to you? Yeah I know manipulated market and they are giving you more time to stack.

Still new to this but isn't that a "Descending Triangle"? More bearish news...
Unless it's a "Falling Wedge" in which case it's Bullish.

Yeah but this is all probability nothing works all the time. Know where you are wrong. I find it easier to just use horizontal support/resistance and fib retracements.

I agree Lancers. What makes me laugh is the fact I'm trying to use Technical Analysis on a market that's blatantly rigged.
In other words, TA don't mean squat...

For me, TA is less about predicting and more about picking your spot (picking your setup). All markets are "rigged" but TA still works to pick your spot.

Which goes right back to Lancers point, support, resistance and Fib. I'm using support and resistance to guess-timate my entry and stop loss points. Fib has been helpful for averaging in on falling stocks. But in the end it's still a crap shoot.
Pong, you still 0% miners, if that's not too personal to ask?

Yes, I'm still on the sidelines, and glad of that.

[I try to buy things that are going up already. I try not to buy things that are going down. See how that takes some of the prediction out of it?]

You like to bottom fish? SILJ is 40 cents above nearby support. Risk is limited and sentiment is in the toilet. Just sayin'.

Question IMHO, is to hold throughout the pain, or liquidate and buy in later?

I'd bet ya a silver dollar, if I sold today, the Bull would begin tomorrow.

Eagle fans are brutal. Don't wear your Giant's jersey to an Eagles game. Getting plastic surgery on the cheap.

Gold itself hasn't had much downside over the past couple weeks, unlike the miners which have been hammered. However, gold looks to be in a weak position.
Fingers crossed for the Fed meeting. I'd love to see the metals move higher out of this week, but they could very well get smashed hard post-fed. Like I said, gold is looking weak, and silver is already slipping.

Why the sudden change of heart ?

Still not buying but I think for the moment at least the lows are in. Not expecting much more than a rally failure.

Double bottom and a hammer. No bias you have to be long with a stop on a close below today's lows.

Metals look like they are might be reversing higher, finally.
However, keep an eye on the general stock market. S&P, nasdaq on the verge of busting a move higher, breaking out above the highs.

Interesting turnaround in silver today. I haven't sold any positions during this downturn and have only added one position. This seems like a good spot to put some sideline cash to work if there's some follow through on todays reversal.

I know in part the rate hikes were priced in, but still surprised at the pop given the more than expected planned rate hikes.
