When did Bert Dohmen drop Ramirez? I actually took a trial to his newsletter back in 1980. Short bonds and the stock market. How did that work out? Doesn't mean he's wrong about a depression though. I don't see how we can possibly get through 2 1/2 more years of this crap.

Thanks for the link Viking. Question for those of you that are more technically inclined; are there funds or ETF’s that “short” the indexes or markets?
My googling has produced sparse results. Bert also mentioned commodities and energy as being somewhat immune in bear markets. In a crash, would a low tide sink all boats or is this a play that could be positive for metals?.

My opinion is a major crash will take everything down including the metals. After that initial crash though I think metals will be the safe haven play. I feel like this is one of those rare occasions that sitting in cash is the best play even with rampant inflation. Plenty of time to make it back on the upside after the initial crash.
I think you can just short the indexes like qqq or something. I never looked into it but have shorted plenty of stocks. My best trades ever were short positions.

Looks like Uranium shares will open sharply lower. UEC been one of the stronger ones actually CCJ and UEC the only really strong ones of late.

Might work much lower if $3.50 level doesn't hold but we should get a relief rally shortly. Use stops if you want to catch a falling knife.

Read him don't sub to him but someone I know who does says that Armstrong is looking for a June low and a panic low in September. I guess that implies a low somewhere this month a rally then a panic low later. Whether it resembles 2020 I don't know. FWIW.

Armstrong Dow 30 close under 29850 opens up a panic low in September. FWIW.
Not only Armstrong is saying this. Fed will slack off just enough to get a summer rally, then the Big Rug Pull into Election season.
I just wanna get above water long enough to sell all this shit.

Footnote: After a year and a half of buying/selling/trading, I am within $2K of where I started. Feels like all this work for nothing...

Can anyone chime in on the monster Uganda find? I briefly looked and couldn’t find anything here or other parts of the forum. 300,000 tons of processed gold is almost double the existing above ground gold. Seems farfetched.

Muyita said Wagagai, a Chinese company, had set up a mine in Busia in eastern Uganda and was expected to start production this year.

Chinese are all over Africa it seems.

They have been for awhile. Instead of just exploiting the peeps they are actually creating real jobs in manufacturing, farming and commodities. It's what a wealthy nation does when it wants to expand it's resources and influence around the world.

OUCH!

Dow turns bearish at 30,500 on a #1 Double Bottom formation sell signal on this 3 x 500 scale P&F chart. Following the Bitcoin's footsteps under 30K soon...

I think we are either at the point or close to it where we need to holster the gun cause they'll be coming after our shit if we don't stop the madness.

Not playing at this point. Odds favor a short term bounce maybe but I'll wait. Bitcoin Gold Silver pm miners and Uranium stocks.

I'm a bit surprised about the Bitcoin part. You think it will rebound, Lancers?

I said I was not buying anything and yeah I think Bitcoin will bounce. Is 20800 the low? I don't know I do not think so. Bitcoin isn't going to 12K or whatever low it finally makes in a straight line. The broad market tanks big everything will get sold off so no interest in anything right now.

10 year yield and the dollar index. This is what a liquidity scare looks like in the early days. Everything gets sold at first.

We probably get strong bounces here and there but I think they are setting up a mini crash low late Summer then a run to new highs then goodbye. I think we'll get a stronger run in the pm complex more so than 2020. Could always be wrong.

If you are still wearing a mask and waiting in line for your next shot of poison there is a strong possibility that you believe this.
