Camera has been getting a work out today. If it were the film days I would have gone through about 5 rolls.

More from today

Back home it was a day where you could stand outside and see a raptor very couple of minutes. View attachment 254062

The sharp shinned hawk was too fast for me this pass.

That is one of the many things I like about digital cameras.

Mosquito larvae... Gotta get some bitsy fishies in there.
That's the funny thing about temporary ponds like that. They don't stick around long enough for fish to thrive so all this other stuff thrives, like frogs and those evil mosquitoes. Dragonflies too though.

We have dragonflies here all the time. We love them. Little four-engined boogers.

Looks like there is a lot of life in that pond. Any tadpole sightings yet? Or just alien creatures. :D
Lol right? There were a few tadpoles spotted in there but the pics got lost.

Northern Virginia. We get our fair share of rain. At the bottom of that ridge is the Rappahannock River. It is one of my property lines.

Two from Manuel Antonio looking from a catamaran towards the beach.. overall shows how desolate the area is, national park at top and to the right. The close up shows the beach at 2 in the afternoon, normally full chairs and locals everywhere... pretty much deserted!
