Some cool pics from the plane.
Indeed! I almost never fly but when I do I try to get a window seat. The view never gets boring for me.

Here are some I took flying to and from Phoenix in 2005.

and here is what is probably my all-time luckiest photo. I purposely timed my flight back home so that if the Barringer impact crater was visible from the plane if I was on the correct side of the plane and if there were no clouds in the way I might get to see the crater and timed it so the sun would be at a good angle to see details.

hard, I have some talents but doing what you do isn't one of them,
yet I can sure appreciate yours, well done man

I get such a kick out of the various member talents and wisdom on this forum, of which we have a bunch.

Guys seeing, creating, building, or imagining. Good stuff.

Be careful of those minnows. They are more dangerous than great whites.

Otherwise,

I hate you for being able to wear shorts.

Well, I do have A LOT of interests and hobbies. Before I retired people would always ask me, "what are you gonna do"? It always seemed like a dumb question to me. I have zero interest in going back to work.......more to come.

Nice pics vichris!

where'd you get the snake pics?

====
Note for everyone... (not you vi) if a pic posts sideways it's most likely too big. I don't know why they flip. Best is 500K bytes or less in my experience.

Gold, The snake pics are all mine I used to raise and sell several varieties of King snakes and milk snakes. I sold off my collection years ago and now only have a very few as pets.

Thank you Bottom, it's a 2011 in an original color....Green With Envy. They only made 888 of them, and they'll never do that color again. I thought about trading it in for a Hellcat but loved the color so much I decided to supercharge it. It was a lot cheaper to do that too. I've made it my own and it will be passed on to one of my sons.

Have you run it on a quarter mile?

Good question. I used to race it a lot, but have pretty much given up on that. Tired of breaking shit. Our DA here where I live is about the worst in the country. 10.8 sec is the best I've run in the 1/4 mile. I'm at 788 rwhp & I'm happy with that. Its a garage queen during the winter. I get it out often during the summer and show it some too. Give a shit about messing with my discount.

Those fish are Tiger Muskies. They are a hybrid between a Muskie and a Northern Pike. The red marks on that fish were from a much larger Tiger Muskie grabbing and attempting to eat it. We have two lakes here that have these fish in them. Because they are hybrids they are sterile and cannot breed. These were planted here to control gold fish and trash fish (suckers and carp).

Its unfortunate that to many people loose their lives in their work. And then they wait to retire at about the point where their health goes south. I plan to stay as active as I can for as long as possible. This time of year when the weather is bad I have "other" activities that keep me busy. More pics to come.......
