Genie is chewing his new perch. This is a good example of why you don't leave him unattended.

To newmisty with the rabbit picture:
I have a rabbit living under my shed. The dog now pretends he does not see hear or smell it. Previously, in past years, he slaughered two different rabbits that wandered by our house. Is he growing old or is it a trick?

In this episode of "What to do with leftover pizza dough" I made apple pie filling and made a couple "pies". Anyone else get creative with extra dough? :D

The Tshirt is from the Iceland Punk Rock Museum, located in a former (no water) public toilet under the sidewalk. Toilets and fixtures are still there.

TRUE story, all lies do not start this way !!!
The Baja Hwy 5, from Mexicali to San Felipe, runs down the eastern side of Baja, with the Gulf of California right next to the road.. During July & Aug, the night sky is lit up with continual lightening strikes. I have always enjoyed lightening & thunder.
I drove my big ole '75 Merc. Station wagon on that road at 80 + MPH. Being the thrill seeker that I am, one night back in '77 - '79, I decided to see if I could run with my headlights off.
WOW, I must have gone 5 miles when co-pilot wife barked at me to turn the lights back on. I bet I could have gone 20 miles with just lightening as my night light !!
Note: I rode in my dad's car, going down that road until I was old enough to go there on my own. I probably traveled that road for 10 to 12 times a year for 50 years, well over 500 times. I knew the road well ! It is 120 miles long with no cops & very few accidents.

So my buddy, to whom the jam kit belongs, spent hours tuning, replacing worn/ damaged hrdware, added another tom-tom, another hi hat AND another ride cymbal!

Everything sounds much more congruent, there is a much wider spectrum of sonic voids filled, and a couple instruments that didn't sound well on their own or with previous set ups, pair up quite nicely now since there's more contrast..

.Took me awhile to adjust to it but we played again tonight and I felt much more comfortable and was able to break out of some
habits, which was very refreshing.
So now I have 17 different things to hit after i added our -inch splash cymbal to the mix. Previously we were having trouble mounting the wood block but with the new high hat basically gives me a hundred and eighty degree cockpit to express with.
