Still killing albacore & crab. We have had rain for 2 days, gives time to can the tuna.
The guys were having trouble holding the albies for the gut & gill procedure, so I went home & made a holding fixture. They love it.

One helluva day. I have created "The old fart start". We launch at 8 am & are on the fish by 9 to 9:30 & on our way home by noon or 1 pm with all we want.
Icing down the catch. I put 400 lbs of ice on board. Albacore will spoil in a heart beat without ice.
This is what we call an "albacore bird" because when you find them, you find albacore. They almost never land, at least I have only seen them land a couple of days ago & never before in 50 plus years of chasing albies. Wingspan is 4 to 5 feet.
