Managed to catch a glimpse of a C--130 that flew directly overhead the other day. If I was prepared it would have been an epic shot! But alas this is the best I could do with a phone cam on short notice.

Wow, that is really something! But how do you do steep turns in a car?

Well, guess its time for the kid to bury this one and order him up a new "treasure chest" to fill. Can't fit much more into this one. He has acquired quite the collection, no two rounds or coins in this are identical.

Kid has good taste. I think I even spy a GIM round in there.

Jammed again last night. Pic taken up the road. Rain was starting to move in. Poured all day today and more tomorrow.

An excellent post Goldhedge. I've been at this for decades. Our mountain cabin gets inundated with these little guys each year. Here's an early bird at one of my home feeders, and then sitting in my back yard trying to warm up. After a good rain and a very cool night for late April, this one got a late start and spent considerable time at the feeder this morning

Right now, the most notable bird here has been these guys. Is it a bad sign to have 13 vultures land at once in nearby trees on one's late father's birthday? lol Every night a pair comes in to roost.

I think they have a nest on/in a nearby abandoned house.

A Curved Billed Thrasher taking a break in my back yard. We have a pair of these nesting in our neighborhood. These birds are much like a Mockingbird, as they perch up near the top of a tree and make mimicking calls of other birds each morning. They are just slightly larger than a Robin. Mockingbirds are actually in the thrasher family of birds.

No, Canon SX70. Here's another. The Osprey caught more fish than I did that day at the lake. I made up for it though on the creek

Yes, and I have some in the freezer ready to thaw. It is not much faster than making fresh, but it is insurance in case I have a need for four or five at once. Or if I don't feel like cleaning the mixing bowl each time. Rolling the crust is a bit different after freezing, but not a big deal.

Here is a great deal on ready-to-bake pizza trays, $30 for a case of 150 (20 cents each). The regular price is $75 (50 cents each). There is only one right now at that price. Click on "New and used from" on the right side. I have bought seven cases of "used" trays, and the trays were all "as new", just the packaging had some issues.
Update: Looks like someone snagged the case of trays.
The pizza tray deal is back again. 150 trays for $30.62 It was there earlier today, but disappeared quickly.
