Okay, so that glass ball I showed is from a beverage. It serves as a stopper in a glass bottle and you have to push the "Marble" into the bottle to access the beverage.

A friend brought one over, so after he finished drinking it we broke the bottle so we could extract the marble.

I think the beverage was Ramune. Here is a video about it:

Well, finally found the source of the odor permeating the air for the last week.

Earlier this week this kind visitor came and took a mouse.

Red-tailed hawk with mouse (frame from my camera system. I wasn't quick enough to get a proper photo).

Ya know, with all the game trail cams out there in the wild, you'd think by now we'd have photos of bigfoot...

WWII circa Bronze Star and Purple Heart gifted to me this past weekend by my wife from her deceased great-grandfather. He was a heavy machine gunner in Europe. Evidentally he was in some hot shit.

Back when they meant something. I know a dude who got a purple heart from being near a 122 rocket explosion. No physical injury, but now has 100% VA disability. Liberal as f*** too...gaming the system, methinks.

^ Thanks. It was my second grow, and those babies bloomed. 7 plants with a yield of 68 half gallon loosely packed bud. It keeps my lumbago in check, and improves my surly attitude.

VERY, VERY cool. Thank You and your family for their sacrifice.

IMHO, the Purple Heart is one of the most beautiful medals, it embodies service and distinction.

<Strack Salute>

Take the PH out of the cellophane. Two reasons:

1. It will not cause wear on the medal in any way. It will shine for decades.

2 You -- and others -- will be able to read the inscription engraved on the back. <-- Yup. There is one.
